Since the 9/11 terror attack, the event which caused supply chain disruption, supply chain security has becomes more important than ever before. Furthermore, such company's logistics strategies conflicting supply chain security as increased global sourcing, JIT manufacturing are increasing supply chain vulnerability. It could burden for global companies to strengthen supply chain security because not only it requires additional investment cost but also changes of companiy's global logistics strategy. However, on the other hand, supply chain visibility and resilience can be improved through supply chain security. In addition, it allows companies to stabilize supply chain structure as well as rapid and flexible response to market demand. The key issue is balancing between efficiency and supply chain security. To do this, identifying risk elements under the supply chain and assessing vulnerability of each supply chain components should be performed before developing efficient supply chain security management system without obstructing supply chain efficiency.

Both supply chain management and safety management contribute to strengthening a company's competitiveness. However, there is no previous research that considers supply chain management and safety management simultaneously The objective of this research is to study on application of safety management to supply chain. In this paper, the concept of supply chain safety management is defined. Based on the concept of supply chain safety management, supply chain safety management model is developed that consists of supply safety management, production safety management, storage safety management, and distribution safety management. In order to apply supply chain safety management, a methodology is developed that consists of four phases. Applying the supply chain safety management model, it is expected a company to lower cost as well as to raise customer satisfaction level.

The recent Covid-19 outbreak has caused severe disruption of the global supply chain, which tests firms' ability to survive and build resilience. The concept of adaptive supply chain management (A-SCM) has never been tested against a severe supply chain disruption, such as a pandemic. Purpose: The aim of this study is to examine how firms in Indonesia develop resilience through the implementation of components of adaptive supply chain management, namely risk management, resource reconfiguration and supply chain flexibility, in order to survive severe supply chain disruption. Research design, data and methodology: A qualitative method and PLS-SEM were used to analyze 120 data collected from Indonesian manufacturing firms in various industries. Results: The findings show that risk management, resource reconfiguration, and supply chain flexibility are important components that make up A-SCM. However, only risk management contributes to help build firm resilience in the presence of severe supply chain disruption. Conclusions: The components of A-SCM have been empirically tested. The implication is that managers should carefully use RM to prepare firms for different scenarios to develop contingency strategies. This research contributes to the supply chain management body of knowledge in the context of pandemic-level disruption and broadens the dynamic capabilities perspective.

Supply chain performance management is the essential part of various business activities in supply chain management area, and integrating it with general business management improves the supply chain performance. Although supply chain performance management is important and expected of market growth, there are few researches on this area and lack of practical applications. To resolve these problems, this paper presents a new performance management methodology for a supply chain integrating SCOR (Supply Chain Operational Reference) model and Balanced Scorecard (BSC). And we develop a framework of the Supply Chain Performance Management System (SCPMS) based on this methodology, and implement a prototype system.

Purpose: To explore the application prospect of support vector machine (SVM) in supply chain management and its practical application in supply chain performance evaluation practice. Research design, data and methodology: This paper establishes the performance evaluation index system of supply chain management according to the balanced scorecard (BSC) theory, and establishes the SVM model of supply chain management performance evaluation based on the SVM principle. Results: The performance evaluation results of the supply chain of an electric power equipment Co., Ltd. in Harbin established by using the model are consistent with the actual situation, which indicates the nature and accuracy of the possible reflection of the established supply chain performance evaluation model. Conclusions: The results show that SVM model can be used to evaluate enterprise supply chain management performance indicators, and can improve enterprise supply chain management performance, thus demonstrating the effectiveness of the model.

Purpose: Research on supply chain sustainability is important for exporters When the factor of sustainable development is considered by the businesses as well as governments of all countries. Research on supply chain sustainability is important for exporters. Sustainable supply chain management and supply chain dynamics will help enterprises adapt to changes in the business environment. This study analyzes the impact of sustainable supply chain management, and supply chain dynamic capabilities on the sustainable development of exporting enterprises in Vietnam. Research design, data, and methodology: The research model and survey are designed based on previous studies after surveying export enterprises. With 185 samples collected from export enterprises. The Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis technique is used. Data analysis is performed on SPSS and AMOS software (Reliability test, Confirmatory Factor Analysis, SEM). Results: Sustainable supply chain management and supply chain dynamic capabilities all have positive effects on the sustainable development of businesses (sustainable development is measured by distribution: measuring economic efficiency, social efficiency, and environmental performance). Conclusions: From the results of this study, the authors also made several recommendations to help export enterprises develop sustainability based on sustainable supply chain management and supply chain dynamic capabilities.

Changing customer expectation, global competition, and technological requirements force firms to develop agile supply chain capabilities sustaining competitive advantage and business success. To respond, firms are seeking to enhance supply chain agility across the inter-organizational, this study explores the relationship between supply chain competence and supply chain agility on firm performance. The research reviews literature on supply chain capability and classifies capability into two categories as competence and capability based on resource based view and dynamic capabilities. It describes a framework to explore the relationships among supply chain competence (IT flexibility, supply chain flexibility, shared value), supply chain capability (supply chain agility), and firm performance (supply chain performance). The purpose of this study is to find the determinants of supply chain agility and improving firm performance in the perspective of vendor companies. The results indicate strong, positive, and direct relationships between supply chain competence and supply chain agility. Supply chain agility have significant relationships with firm performance. Implication for future research and practice are offered.

This paper examines the international commerce expert capability and business performance in global supply chain management. Based on the analysis of eighty-seven cases, the following results were found. First it was found that CEO's capability of global supply chain management firms and business performance are significantly correlated. Second, supply chain management manager's capability of global supply chain management firms and business performance are not significantly correlated. Third, CEO's capability have more a positive influence business performance than supply chain management manager's capability in global supply chain management firms.

By successful establishment of Supply Chain Management System they should make the supply chains speedy and combine production information system with the outcome system and thus they reinforce the competition of the production system of local enterprises in accordance with the rapid decision making. Supply chain coordination improves if all supplier of chain take actions that together increase total supply chain profits. To design of Modularity by the grouping supplier, the proposed method is to develop the most appropriate production system models through the reflection of JIT system in the Supply Chain Management which is necessity of the times and its importance. The objects of this study is to develop the most appropriate production system Model and optimal profit model in the process line and to provide the enterprises with the models which are based on the Supply Chain Management.

The purpose of the research to analyze SMEs' technological innovation performance in the Special Region of Yogyakarta based on green supply chains. This study's technology innovation performance is influenced by environmental management practices, green supply chain integration, and supply chain knowledge-sharing. This research is important because many SMEs are underdeveloped in terms of technology innovation performance. Technology innovation performance shows that innovation has a multi-dimensional ecological performance in organizations. Therefore, SMEs' sustainable supply chain could be achieved by managing operations, support, and information by focusing on environmental and social issues to maximize the entire chain. This study used primary data. The number of respondents in this study was 200 SMEs that have implemented green supply chain management practices. The data collection method used was a questionnaire. The data analysis technique tool used is a two-step approach to SEM-AMOS. The results of this study indicate that SMEs are willing to implement a green supply chain to increase their performance. The technological innovation performance model of this study is acceptable. The findings of this research suggest that companies must be encouraged to maintain and increase the implementation of green supply chain integration and better supply chain knowledge-sharing with improved technological innovation performance enhancements.
