The authors were clustered the six clusters, the index terms the clusters of the authors shared were similar to the results of the two analyses. The biblical teachings of The Old Testament and the New Testament and reformed theology were core subject terms and it was consistent in the results of these three analyses. • This study aimed at analyzing the keywords and authors of the KCI listed theological journals and finding the official research performance of Korean theology. This study divided the periods in two according to how duplicate the authors are and found hierarchical clusters by analyzing 92 keywords using the McQuitty method. In analyzing them, the Ward linkage method was selected to prevent the authors from gathering into a small number of clusters. Also, to find how influential the journals were to the keywords, the keywords and the percentage of the journals in them were presented together. The authors were analyzed in terms of deciding the positions of them using normalized performance index representing the number of journals and growth index as a growth tendency. Especially, significant researchers were all reformed theologians in a growth index. In the analysis of the keywords of the KCI journals and the authors, the main subject terms of the Korean theology were related to systematic theology and the New Testament. By analyzing the KCI listed journals as the Korean official citation index, this study has made a difference to the advanced articles analyzing the non-KCI listed theological journals.

  • This study has analyzed the uncontrolled index terms in the theological journal, which were assigned by the authors and the LCSH subject headings in their form and meaning, compared to the standards of index terms and proposed much more sophisticated indexing system. In the uncontrolled index terms, noun phrases and compound terms are analyzed, this study found that indexers have to have theological knowledge and indexing techniques in order to assign more precise index terms. In the LCSH, unnecessary index terms and parenthetical qualifiers were analyzed. As a result of it, this study identified that the problems of inconsistency and errors raised from the basic index structure of LCSH.

  • The purpose of this study is to find out how much research has been done on dream analysis based on S.Freud's psychoanalytic theory, and to suggest the necessity of dream research and follow-up research on dream research. The research method was based on analysis of domestic academic journals from 2019 to 2023, a study on S.Freud's dream analysis. Among them, the data were collected and organized through a keyword classification process from the Research Information Service (RISS) and the Korean Journal Citation Index (KCI). The classification categories were psychoanalysis, domestic academic journals, dream analysis, dream interpretation, dream analysis research trends, and dream research trends. In particular, psychoanalysis, dream analysis, domestic academic journals, and research trends were searched. The conclusion was drawn as follows. First, studies on research trends on dream analysis in domestic academic journals did not occupy a large proportion. Second, the ratio of research trends centered on dream analysis keywords was also significantly low. Third, the use and frequency of dream analysis was low. Fourth, research on Korean testing tools based on dream analysis is needed.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the research trends of overseas journals related to dream analysis over the five-year period between 2019 and 2023, and to draw implications for future domestic research directions related to dream analysis. For this purpose, 84 overseas journals searched on Google scholar from 2019 to 2023 were selected and analyzed for research trends, including publication year, journal by topic, theory of use, major research topics, and research methods. The results of the analysis showed that, first, the number of published studies increased from 2019 to 2021 and then decreased, and related studies were active in each country during the COVID-19 period. Second, there was a tendency to interpret the unconscious through dream analysis and apply it to various fields. Third, the trend of research methods was 53 studies using qualitative research, 24 studies using quantitative research, 5 mixed studies, and 2 meta-analyses. Finally, we discuss our findings and suggest further research in the field of dream analysis.

  • This study aimed at analyzing journals and index terms, authors of the reformed theology and evangelicalism, neutral theological position by using bibliometrical analyzing methods. The analyzing methods are average linkage and neighbor centralities, profile cosine similarities. Especially, when analyzing the relationship between authors, we interpreted the research topic by finding the key shared index terms between the authors. In the journal analysis results, 9 journals were largely clustered together in the two clusters of the reformed theology and evangelicalism, but Presbyterian Theological Quarterly that is thought to be a reformed journal was clustered in evangelical cluster. In the index terms analysis results of the clusters, the reformed theology and evangelicalism were key words representing the two clusters. In the authors' analysis results, we had 9 clusters and the Presbyterian theologian studying the reformed theology had the four clusters and the non-Presbyterian theologian had the 5 clusters. Therefore, we consistently had the two clusters of the reformed theology and evangelicalism in all the analysis of the journals and the index terms, the authors.

  • As past paradigm discussion was restricted to the political issues and related antagonistic ideologies, there are desires to reignite discussion from the concrete theological practices and differences in methodological variations. Interactive Study does not require mere antithesis phase but requires interactive study creation as phase itself. The purpose of this study is to analyze quality methodology cases, and to provide basic data for the application of the methodology. For this purpose, current Journalism and Mass communication discussions will be examined and characteristics of quality study and traditional methodology types will be scrutinized. In further, researches in the scientific journals of Korean Association for Communication and Information Studies will be analyzed to point out trend of quality methodology. The scope of analysis includes theological background and methodology, sampling method, data collecting method, reliability analysis. Appliance of quality research method requires more rigid and detailed methodological discussions and applications.

  • In the early 20th century, Korean Protestant Christians began two forms of prayer, Tongsung Kido and Dawn Prayer. The two prayers have been loved and performed by Korean Protestants for over 100 years. Speaking in tongues was introduced in the 1950s and became one of the most popular prayers along with Tongsung Kido and dawn prayer. Korean Protestant churches started Bible meditation in the 1970s through journals like the Daily Bible of the Scripture Union Korea. Now contemplative prayer appears as an unfamiliar and strange style of prayer, given the history of prayer so far in Korean churches. Protestant scholars and pastors have made this into a controversy; contemplative prayer is the first non-protestant prayer that has become controversial. The controversy is mainly about biblical origin, theological relevance, and historical and traditional conformity. This study asks and answers why this controversy is important for Korean Protestant churches. This study introduces the controversy and explores why one group accepts the prayer and others do not. Then, this study recounts the history of Korean Protestant prayers and shows the meanings of the encounter of Korean Protestant prayers and contemplative prayer. This study argues that Korean Protestant Christians, through the controversy, can learn that Korean Protestant churches have the potential to create a new prayer culture and tradition and need spiritual discipline through silence.
