The Study on Thermal Properties of Sleeve with Various Defects (시공유형에 따른 가공송전선 접속개소의 열적 특성 분석 연구)

  • According to previous report, aged sleeves for old transmission lines have various defect such as biased installation or corrosion of steel sleeve. These defects occupied almost 50 percent of investigated aged sleeves. The defects have been limited power capacity of transmission line. And it can cause serious problems such as rapid increasing of sag or falling out of overhead conductor from sleeve. This paper study on thermal behavior of sleeve with various defect model. The detailed results were presented in the text.

  • According to previous report, aged sleeves of old transmission line showed several defaulted installation patterns, which was biased or corrosive-fractured of steel sleeve installed cases. These defects can cause serious accidents such as rapid increasing of sag or falling out of overhead conductor from sleeves. Consequently, the defects lead to the major power outage. Corrosion of steel sleeve is a typical defect by aging of sleeves. And it occupied almost 25 percent of investigated aged sleeves. This paper studied thermal properties and tension for ACSR conductor in case of fractured steel sleeve model by corrosion. The temperature distribution within overhead conductor has a specific gradient. Thermal properties of splice connectors(sleeve and clamp) showed normal behavior. However, mechanical properties were worse than normal sleeves. The detailed results were presented in the text.

  • According to previous report, aged sleeves for old transmission lines have variable defects such as biased installed case or corrosion of steel sleeve. Biased installed sleeve occupied 20 percent among the investigated aged sleeves. This defect must cause local heating of splice connector and limit power transmission capacity. It even inspire falling out of overhead conductor from sleeves. This paper studies thermal properties and tension for ACSR conductor in case of biased installed sleeve model. The detailed results were presented in the text.

  • In this paper, the effect of change of sleeve type on fireproofing performance of through-penetration firestop system on metallic pipes was analyzed. As a result, if the material of the sleeve is high in thermal conductivity and thick, a large amount of heat is transferred to the top of the support structure.

  • Eight female subjects aged between 19 and 21 years old were used to compare 4 kinds of sleeves and pants length estimates of the effect of skin temperatures and thermal and restricted sensation. The subjects were exposed to climatic conditions between 23$\pm$$1^{\circ}C$, RH 65$\pm$5% while repose and exercise. Mean skin temperature became higher according to the sleeves and pants length. 4 kinds of shirts and pants always covered back and chest, but skin temperature of these parts are affected by the length of clothes. Thigh, uppar arm and shin which are covered or uncovered according to the lengh of the sleeve and pants, skin temperature of these parts became higher when convered with clothes than when uncovered. The subjects ballots warmer and more restricted sensation after exercise than after repose and when wear the long sleeved shirts and slacks that when wear the no sleeve shirts and short shorts. In conclusion, three quarter sleeved shirts and pedal pushers are recommended for the rest clothes and no sleeved shirts and shorts for the sports wear under the preceding conditions.
