  • The purpose of this study was to analyse 3, 4, 5-year-old children's private speech according to their age and task characteristics (structured task vs. unstructured task). In order to achieve the goal, the main effect of age, characteristic of tasks and interaction effect were considered among age and characteristic of tasks on preschool children's private speech. The subjects were each 30 3, 4, 5-year-olds from preschool in Busan, South Korea. The structured task was puzzle task and the unstructured task was drawing task from TCT-DP. The data was analyzed by repeated measurement two way ANOVA: 3(age) ${\times}$ 2((characteristic of task). As a result, firstly, total private speech of 4-year-old was higher than 3-year-old, 5-year-old in both tasks, and total private speech of 5-year-old was higher than 3-year-old in both tasks. Secondly, the task-irrelevant private speech was not affected by main effect of age and characteristic of task and interaction effect between age and characteristic of task. Thirdly, the task-relevant private speech was received both main effects and interaction effects between age and characteristic of task. Finally, the external manifestation of inner speech were not received effect of age but received effect of characteristic of task, and received interaction effect between age and characteristic of task. The results of this study imply that characteristic of task is an important factor inducing children's private speech.

  • The 583 employees as subject for empirical analysis were selected by cluster sampling method in Banwol & Sihwa Industrial complex in Ansan area. This study shows the followings; 1. In the group where the task is unstructured and the subordinate's ability is high, the achievement-oriented and participative leader behavior have positive impact on the subordinate's expectancy. 2. In the group where the task is unstructured and the subordinate's ability is low, the directive leader behavior has positive impact on the subordinate's expectancy. 3. In the group where the task is structured and the subordinate's ability is high, the supportive leader behavior has positive impact on the subordinate's expectancy. 4. In the group where the task is structured and the subordinate's ability is low, only supportive leader behavior has positive impact on the subordinate's expectancy, and the directive leader behavior has no significant impact. 5. The subordinate's need for growth has a strong moderating effect in the relationship between leader behavior and job satisfaction. Finally this study indicates the implication for future theoretical and empirical development.

  • Sub-assembly in ship manufacturing is a sequence of filet joint welding of stiffeners on metal panels and the process is different depending on companies. In this paper, we introduce a new intelligent robotic system of the sub-assembly process in Samsung Heavy Industry, where one shift of 22m * 9m workspace includes one to ten panels and each panel includes up to 10 stiffeners. The inherent problems such as several hundreds of different panels, unstructured task environment and the large scale do not allow a fixed automation, but needs highly intelligent versatile automation. The robotic system is composed of four 14DOF macro-mini robots and a task recognition system. Application of this system has verified the task specification such as low temperature environment(-10.deg. C) and productivity is satisfied successfully.

  • Assembly tasks are difficult to fully automate due to uncertain errors occurring in unstructured environments. When assembling parts such as electrical connectors, advances in grasping and assembling technology have made it possible for the robot to assemble the connectors without the aid of humans. However, some parts with tight assembly tolerances should be assembled by humans. Therefore, task sharing with human-robot interaction is emerging as an alternative. The goal of this concept is to achieve shared autonomy, which reduces the efforts of humans when carrying out repetitive tasks. In this study, a task-sharing robotic system for assembly process has been proposed to achieve shared autonomy. This system consists of two parts, one for robotic grasping and assembly, and the other for monitoring the process for robot-human task sharing. Experimental results show that robots and humans share tasks efficiently while performing assembly tasks successfully.

  • The purpose of the present study is to analyze leadership of the public library organization in Korea using Fiedler's Contingency Theory. The study is only to analyze leader-member relations, task structure, position power of the public library organization in Korea by questionnaire method. After follow-up mailing, of the 143 responses received from librarians in 16 public libraries of Pusan and Kyung Sang Nam Do, 111 responses are analyzed. The results are summarized as follows: 1. Leader-member relations of public library organization in Korea are good. 2. The task of public library organization in Korea is unstructured. 3. The position power of public library organization in Korea is strong. In the light of this situation, relationship-oriented leaders will be more effective than task-oriented leaders in the Korean public library organization.

  • AI is accepted not only in the private sector but also in the defense sector as a cutting-edge technology that must be introduced for the development of national defense. In particular, artificial intelligence has been selected as a key task in defense science and technology innovation, and the importance of data is increasing. As the national defense department shifts from a closed data policy to data sharing and activation, efforts are being made to secure high-quality data necessary for the development of national defense. In particular, we are promoting a review of the business budget system to secure data so that related procedures can be improved to reflect the unique characteristics of AI and big data, and research and development can begin with sufficient large quantities and high-quality data. However, there is a need to establish standardization and quality standards for structured data and unstructured data at the national defense level, but the defense department is still proposing standardization and quality standards for structured data, so this needs to be supplemented. In this paper, we propose an unstructured data set standard format for defense unstructured data sets, which are most needed in defense artificial intelligence, and based on this, we propose a standardization method for defense unstructured data sets.

  • Researchers have increased their interest in effectively managing the disaster that appear in large scale and complex form. There are two types of disaster information, which are unstructured text data and structured data. Unstructured text data usually refers to text documents that have been referenced by disaster management personnel such as disaster manuals and related regulations, while structured data refers to various disaster information build in the disaster related organization system. This paper proposes a methodology of constructing a disaster information sharing system that enables joint use of disaster related organizations through the establishment of a mutual linkage system by utilizing both unstructured and structured form of disaster information. Especially, Based on the linkage information between structured earthquake information in earthquake related system and earthquake manuals and countermeasures against earthquake disaster, we propose a service that provides the necessary information for earthquake management. It is expected that the task manager will perform effective earthquake state management by acquiring the integrated structured and unstructured earthquake information of the ministries and related organizations.

  • Initialization problem is defined for indoor mobile robot as a whole process from arrival to normal operation in a new environment. The unstructured environment make the process much more difficult compared to industrial robot in structured environments. We propose a simple and efficient initialization process based on artificial stars on ceiling. Important task points and paths connecting task points are defined based on the corresponding artificial stars. This approach can be used for all kinds of indoor mobile robots with landmarks used for indoor localization.

  • The automation of agricultural machines is an irreversible trend considering the demand for improved productivity and lack of labor in handling agricultural tasks. Unstructured working environments and weather often inhibit a seemingly simple task from being fully autonomously performed. In this context, we propose a remote driving system (RDS) to aid agricultural machines designed to operate autonomously. Particularly, we modify a commercial speed sprayer for orchard environments into a robotic speed sprayer to evaluate the proposed RDS's usability and test three sensor configurations in terms of human performance. Furthermore, we propose a confidence error ellipsebased task performance measure to evaluate human performance. In addition, we present field experimental results describing how the sensor configurations affect human performance. We find that a combination of a semiautonomous line tracking device and a wide-angle camera is the most effective for spraying. Finally, we discuss how to improve the proposed RDS in terms of usability and obtain a more accurate measure of human performance.
