Objectives: The present study aimed to evaluate the usability, quality, and usefulness of the mobile application, CAMBRA-kids, for caries management in preschoolers. Methods: Ninety-one caregivers and preschoolers participated in the user evaluation of CAMBRA-kids. The evaluators assessed the usability, quality, and usefulness of CAMBRA-kids. The collected data were analyzed using R studio 1.2.1335 for Windows (RStudio Inc. 2018, Boston, MA, USA). The evaluations for usability, quality, and usefulness were analyzed with descriptive statistics, Kruskal-Wallis rank sum test, and Wilcoxon rank sum test. Results: On user evaluation, the quality and usefulness of the application scored >3 points, and majority of the users rated the quality and usefulness of the application as high. The quality of the application's system was the highest at 3.68 points, and the actual usage of the application was the lowest at 3.10 points. The application had the highest technological aspect score of 3.20, whereas the content related to oral health information had the lowest score of 3.10/5. Although the application showed no statistically significant differences in the quality and usefulness according to general characteristics, there was a statistically significant difference (p<0.05) between the two when compared between the caries risk group. For all items, the protector of the high-risk group evaluated the quality and usefulness of the application highly. The moderate risk group gave the lowest evaluation score for the application's quality and usefulness. The usability score of the application, according to the user version of the mobile application rating scale (uMARS), was 3.25, and the average engagement score was 2.82 (56.31%). The highest subscale score was 3.63. Conclusions: In this study, we found suitable quality, usability, and usefulness of the mobile application, CAMBRA-kids. In future, the use of this application will contribute to the prevention of dental caries among preschoolers.

This study, centering on public enterprises, has been conducted from 4 different perspectives such as grasping the effects that the factor precedent of the multi-rater feedback affects on the usefulness of evaluation and the effects that the usefulness of evaluation affects on the organizational achievement, checking on whether there is any discrepancy among the effects affecting on the usefulness of evaluation in accordance with the degree of advance training on the evaluation system, and being what kind of effects the usefulness of valuation that the appraised eventually understand affects on the organizational achievement. As result of the study, the factor precedent that are confidence of the appraisers and the support from CEO reasonably affected on the usefulness of evaluation, but the standard referred to evaluation was not reasonable. It became resultantly clear that the confidence of the appraisers held the effect of control from the verification of whether there is the effect of control between the factor precedent and the usefulness of evaluation in accordance with the degree of advance training. However, it turned out that the standard referred to evaluation and the support from CEO held no effect of control. As result, It was possible to confirm that the usefulness of evaluation in this study affects directly or indirectly to the organizational achievement such as organizational immersion, job satisfaction, self development opportunity, and organizational revitalization as influenced by the prior factors, and the advance training was partially effective on the adjusting effect.

With the increasing influence of online media, company websites have become important communication channels between companies and customers. Companies use their websites as a marketing tool for a variety of purposes, including enhancing their image and selling products or services. Many researchers have examined the criteria, methods, and tools for website evaluation, but most have focused on usability. Prior content analyses have focused not on text content but on website components, an approach likely to produce subjective evaluations. This study attempts to objectively evaluate company websites by utilizing text mining. We analyze the usefulness of company websites by presenting visualized outputs from a business perspective, allowing practitioners to easily understand the results of the website evaluation and use them in decision making. To demonstrate our method empirically, we selected a company with a number of affiliates in Korea and analyzed the text content of their websites to assess their usefulness using natural language processing and graphics packages in R. Practitioners can easily employ our objective evaluation method, and researchers can use it to gain a new perspective on website evaluation.

This study investigates the multidimensional structure of apparel design evaluation criteria and the details of each criterion by exploring how female college students majoring in apparel design in their 20s evaluate apparel design based on an exploratory approach. Data were analyzed through a categorization method of qualitative data after collecting from a literature review and three focus group interviews. The results identified the six evaluation criteria of apparel design (functional usefulness, convenience, aesthetics, psychological self suitability, social activity usefulness, and fashion trend). Functional usefulness and convenience assessed the extent to which primary features of apparel are reflected in apparel design, and aesthetics evaluated the aesthetic beauty of apparel design. Psychological self suitability estimated the extent to which apparel design expressed psychological self properly, and social activity usefulness appraised the extent to which apparel design contributed to the social activities of wearers. Last, fashion trend assessed the extent to which apparel design reflected fashion trend. The study results provide meaningful implications towards an apparel industry that wants to develop apparel design that appeals to consumers, educational institutions that aim to cultivate well-trained professionals in the apparel industry, and consumers who want to purchase clothes of satisfactory design.

Purpose: This study tests the validity of a standard evaluation tool of ambulance ride practices with new evaluation items and supports its application by 119 preceptors. Methods: We tested the validity of standard evaluation items collected from 19 on-site professionals assessing ambulance ride practices. New evaluation items, 'understanding of emergency rescue equipment' and 'ability to communicate', were added as additional criteria. The modified Delphi technique was used to test the three evaluation areas and ten evaluation items. We used the analytic hierarchy process to analyze the weighting value of the reconstructed evaluation tool model. Results: All three evaluation areas and 10 evaluation items within the standard evaluation tools used for ambulance ride practices corresponded with the consistency index, degree of convergence, and agreement in the modified Delphi panel. Conclusion: These results provide evidence of the consistency and usefulness behind preceptors' use of this standard evaluation tool in ambulance ride practice.

The purpose of this study intends to evaluate the usefulness of the automated cataloging systems. For the purpose. this study investigated theoretical methods for the quality criteria and developed 4 evaluation criteria. Also developed were indicators to measure the value of each criteria And the catalogers of academic libraries using three major LAS were carefully chosen to conduct the usefulness tests. The proposed model was verified reliability and validity. This study is suggested guidelines to evaluate and improve the automated cataloging systems.

In this study, we investigate the usefulness of the measures of the 2008 Korean Public Library Operation Assessment as perceived by librarians in practice using a survey. The survey was answered by librarians in large, medium, and small-sized libraries managed by local autonomous bodies and in large-sized libraries that belong to local education authorities. The survey results show that whereas the usefulness of items was higher in planning area and those items that can be easily counted, and usefulness of items in human resources and facilities was lower. There are no significant results in differences by library size and by the characteristics of librarians. Based on the results, we suggest a direction for the improvement of the Korean Public Library Operation Assessment.

This study aims to make evaluation method as a means to evaluate the crime prevention through environmental design of multi-family housing. According to the analysis of correctness and usefulness of evaluation method in multi-family housing, the preliminary evaluation method is selected. The correctness and usefulness of evaluation method is examined by 2 works. One is analyzing the results of experts' advice about evaluation method. The other is analyzing the results of the case studies of 3 housing sites. Those improve evaluation method to measure the crime prevention through environmental design objectively. As a result, the system of classification is divided into evaluation area and evaluation item. Evaluation area is sorted into four types, i.e. public space, semi-public space, semi-private space, and equipment. Evaluation scores according to evaluation area are different. Evaluation scores of public space are 73. Those of semipublic space are 196. Those of semi-private space are 75, Those of equipment are 28. Evaluation item is divided into 20 items. 20 items are; the entrance of complex, apartment building, recreational space and parking space etc. Checklists according to evaluation items are proposed and detail evaluation criteria according to checklist are proposed.

This study aims to evaluate KOLIS-NET system by usefulness testing of 'KOLIS-NET client integrated system' and by usability testing of 'KOLIS-NET web site'. For evaluating the usefulness of the system, we used searching, ease of use, customer support as criteria, and used brainstorming and in-depth interview as evaluation method. On the other hand, for usability testing of the web site, we used cognitive walkthrough. Evaluation results are categorized and represented as page redesign, term consistency, function improvement and new functionality.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of consumers' fashion design evaluation factors on design value and brand loyalty. After confirming a research hypothesis, 247 people were selected as subjects for empirical analysis, and the results of the study are as follows. As a result of the analysis of 'the influence of consumer's fashion design evaluation factors on design value', the fashion design evaluation factors of 'convenience', 'social activity usefulness' and 'fashion ability' had an effect on the emotional design value. 'Convenience', 'functional usefulness', 'social activity usefulness', 'fashionableness' and 'aesthetic' factors affected the rational design value. 'Convenience', 'fashionableness', 'aesthetic' and 'psychological self-conformity' had a positive (+) effect on kinesthetic design values. As a result of the analysis of 'Influence of consumer's fashion design value on brand loyalty', 'emotional design value', 'rational design value' and 'kinesthetic design value' affect attitude brand loyalty, and 'emotional design value' and 'kinesthetic design value' affect brand loyalty. It was found that 'kinesthetic design value' has an effect on behavioral brand loyalty. As a result of the analysis of 'the effect of consumer attitude brand loyalty on behavioral brand loyalty', it was analyzed that attitude brand loyalty had a statistically significant positive (+) effect on behavioral brand loyalty.
