In present web service structure, the service begins when supplier register the information of its service to UDDI(Universal Description Discovery and Integration). When user searches service directory in UDDI, the position of service is transmitted to it. And then, user requests WSDL(Web Service Description Language) to the supplier. When WSDL is delivered to user, user requests the service according to WSDL. This thesis simplifies this web service process. This makes WSDL owned by supplier stored to WSDLBASE when supplier register its service. Also this makes it possible that user search the service and receives WSDL.

Web service, the next generation of distributed computing, is a distributed solution that handles all businesses through standard techniques in the internet. Web service performs its function using web interface. The goal of this thesis is to reduce network overloading. to manage WSDL efficiently, and to provide convenience to service users by simplifying the web service procedure. Web service system proposed in this thesis is based on WSDL Repository that can include UDDI and store WSDL. WSDL Repository manages WSDL by file system and has UDDI Registry embedded within it. Because this system is based on WSDL Repository, Web service supplier must register WSDL when he registers services. Then, users can receive WSDL too when he searches for services.

SOAP using WSDL(Web Service Definition Language) was proposed for effective integration of distributed objects. But the SOAP message and WSDL document automatically generated from development tool are fully dependent on the development environments. So the dependency of SOAP messages and WSDL documents for objects to the development environment is still a big problem to be solved for the integration of heterogeneous distributed objects. In order to support integration of heterogeneous distributed object, we implemented SOAP Bridge called WBSB(WSDL Based SOAP Bridge). As service request message for a particular service object is translated into appropriate SOAP message for the selected service object by WBSB using WSDL repository, a client can use service object without considering the development environment of the service object.

UDDI (Universal Discovery Description and Integration) Registry is used for Web Services registration and search. UDDI offers the search result to the keyword-based query. UDDI supports WSDL registration but it does not supports WSDL search. So it is required that contents based search and ranking using name and description in UDDI registration information and WSDL. This paper proposes a retrieval engine considering contents of services registered in the UDDI and WSDL. It uses Vector Space Model for similarity comparison between contents of those. UDDI registry information hierarchy and WSDL hierarchy are considered during searching process. This engine suppports two discovery methods. One is Keyword-based search and the other is template-based search supporting ranking for user's query. Template-based search offers how service interfaces correspond to the query for WSDL documents. Proposed retrieval engine can offer search result more accurately than one which UDDI offers and it can retrieve WSDL which is registered in UDDI in detail.

To support business service interoperability, it is necessary to extend WSDL and develop Business Service Document(BSD) to contain various business service informations. W3C delegates extension of WSDL to the user groups for their usages and objectives. Therefore this article defines BSD, which is extended version of WSDL. This article also presents Business Web Service Framework(BWSF), which supports business service interoperability and uses BSD. BSD Creator is developed to create correct, valid and well-formed BSD which is core component of BWSF. This article is expected to be used as base concepts for industrial adoption of business service interoperability architecture, and it is also expected to contribute for revitalize business service interoperability.

CORBA has been a popular middleware, but recently Web Services has been emerging as a promising web middleware since it uses Internet established standards such as URL, HTTP, XML, and etc. CORBA uses IDL for describing CORBA object interface and Web Services uses WSDL for its description. Thus, in order to port or integrate CORBA objects into Web Services, one needs to understand the relationship between CORBA IDL and WSDL. In this paper, we analyze IDL and WSDL, and compare between two. It turns out that there exists a direct mapping between two, and that understanding operational environments and logic of two technologies is much more important in converting or integrating CORBA objects into Web services successfully.

The WSDL is the specifications which defines the fact that must describe a web service how with the XML. It uses the WSDL and the client discovers a web service and the opening to the public function which the web service provides calling there is a possibility of doing. In this paper application shows the WSDL definition of a simple service providing Slip data process. The service supports a triple web method called WriteSlipXMLFromSql, WriteSlipXMLFromSqlProc, InsertSlipDataToDb which is deployed using the SOAP protocol over HTTP. In this paper, Our proposed web services are expected to contribute to constructing useful world wide web services which are essential in building E-Commerce society.

기업 간 비즈니스(B2B) 거래를 하기 위해서는 기업이 지원하는 업무 프로세스에 관한 정보와 업무 정보 교환을 위해 기업의 기술적인 사항을 정의하는 문서가 필요하다. XML 기반의 개방형 전자상거래 프레임 워크인 ebXML에서는 기업의 비즈니스 협업 능력을 정의한 스키마 형식의 문서를 CPP라고 하며, 웹서비스에서는 스키마 형식의 문서로 되어 있는 WSDL내에 협업정보를 수록하고 연계하여 협업을 지원한다. 본 논문에서는 ebXML의 CPP 구조와 웹서비스의 WSDL 구조를 분석하여 하나의 애플리케이션을 통해 협업의 중심역할을 하는 CPP와 WSDL을 효율적으로 생성시키는 CPP/WSDL 생성기를 개발하는데 있다. 이를 위해 각 문서의 엘리먼트들을 효과적으로 구조화하여 세부적인 항목까지 손쉽게 사용자가 정의를 내릴 수 있도록 그 방안을 제시 한다.

ETSI M2M Platforms provide general infra services for machine-to-machine communication. In this paper, we propose a service-level integration methodology which can integrate a ETSI M2M platform with heterogeneous web applications based on WSDL 2.0. Considered heterogeneous web applications are the ones that use SOAP, HTTP and CoAP protocols for inter-communication. The proposed WSDL 2.0-based service-level integration methodology includes the followings; (1) We present a method of how to describe standardized M2M platform service interfaces into a WSDL 2.0 document. (2) A proposed web client generator is used to generates SOAP, HTTP and CoAP client codes from the WDSL 2.0 document. (3) We propose protocol conversion proxies which translate protocols into other protocols in web service run-time.

본 논문에서는 웹 서비스의 WSDL 문서로부터 XForms에 기반한 그래픽 유저 인터페이스를 동적으로 생성하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 구조분석과 XForms 변환의 두 단계로 구성된다. 구조분석 단계는 입력된 WSDL의 구조를 파악하여 인터페이스 생성에 필요한 요소를 추출하고, 이후 XForms 변환단계에서 변환규칙을 적용함으로써 적절한 인터페이스를 생성한다.
