According to the statistical surveys and studies, insufficient maintenance in the use of existing buildings caused fire and collapse accidents. In this respect, I analyzed the data managed by the current building maintenance and inspection system to find out the actual state of safety management and proposed two significant results. First, regarding the state of the buildings, the safety management status of the small-sized ones, where 20 years or more passed after construction, is the worst and a priority improvement plan is required. Second, there are eight deeply concerning factors for the fire incidents and collapse accidents of buildings. In the order of high risk, these factors are structural strength (seismic design), exterior wall finishing material, basement floor, interior finishing materials, other evacuation facilities, corridors stairs entrances, rooftop, fire partition. We need to have more special designs and management plans regarding high-risk factors as a system to prevent accidents in the building.

Our government has been continuously making an effort to improve safety management and prevent accidents in small-to-medium sized enterprises, but the accidents are still happening. Since there hasn't been a study on the actual state of safety management for the munitions manufacturing industry so far, this paper aims to investigate and analyze the actual state of the munitions manufacturing companies in Kyung-In area and it also shows the countermeasures of improvement.

Today, as interest in the importance of urban parks increases, many citied internationally are actively creating small parks, but their maintenance systems remain ineffective. Accordingly, in this study, the limitations and problems in the operation and management of urban parks were derived by examining previous studies on overall urban park maintenance and management. Based on this, the study tried to understand the actual state of maintenance and management of small parks through data surveys and field surveys related to budget execution on case sites. Then, we sought to clarify the actual state of maintenance and management of small parks through data surveys and field surveys regarding the budget execution of case sites as a basis for research to prepare an efficient and systematic improvement plan for the maintenance management system of city parks.

In Korea, the apartment supplier should satisfy the apartment residents' demand on the defect repair found in apartment housing by the law of Management of Apartment Complexs. But in the cost of defect repair, not only the actual defect repair cost, but also the cost of residents' complains are contained. So in this analytic study, the actual use state of defect deposite during 4~10 years after moving in are analysed base on actual data of 15 apartment complexes. In this study, about 66% of defect repair deposites are used to actual defect repair and only 34% of defect repair cost are spent to satisfy the demand of apartment residents'.

The acoustic phenomena in the actual sound systems involve a variety of compound problems. In this paper, the well-known Bayes' theorem is first employed and expanded into orthonormal and non-orthonomal series forms matched to the digital processing of lower and higher order statistical informations and the noisy observations. Proposed on-line algorithms of digital filter type are applied to the actual state estimation for a reverberation characteristics in a room under contamination of background noises.

Although the native local data is being deemed important in the age where historical records are regarded as important, currently it is hard to find out detailed actual state of local data, because it is now being collected and managed by many institutions and individuals. This study is aimed at surveying the current state of management of native local data possessed by local cultural center, one of institutions that produce and manage local data, and suggesting a desired alternative idea of cultural center for management of native local data, through the problems found by the research. As the result, the current state of data management of the local cultural center are as follows: First, local data management in the local cultural center as the problem in poor surroundings and a financial question get local data-related education make systematic data collection and management unavailable. Second, local data depends on the extent of its awareness of it. each and every cultural center shows a significant deviation in the extent of execution of local data-related project. Third, even though the publication business of the cultural center is being lively executed, it attaches importance to the history of local authority rather than to the residents' life, and it should not be supplemented in applying it to education and production of cultural contents.

The purpose of this study is to analyze middle school teachers' perception of their participation in decision-making processes at their schools. 507 middle school teachers in the Pusan metropolitan area were involved in this study through a questionnaire to examine the actual state of participation of teachers in decision-making processes. The results of the above mentioned analyses are as follows: First, the degree of actual participation in the decision-making process for each field in terms of school management is lower than that of expected participation in general. Second, the variable which influences the actual participation the most is seen in the jurisdiction of the related fields. However, as an exception, expertise is the most influential variable on actual participation in terms of teaching activities.

Data on nearly one hundred thousands of Korean quality circles, registered with KSA(Korean standard association), are classified by regional groups, size, and industry. The classified data are analyzed in order to investigate the actual state of quality circles. Some international comparisons such as managerial objectives for introducing quality circles are also included.
