We discuss the decomposition of degree two basic cohomology for codimension four taut Riemannian foliation according to the holonomy invariant transversal almost complex structure J, and show that J is C^∞ pure and full. In addition, we obtain an estimate of the dimension of basic J-anti-invariant subgroup. These are the foliated version for the corresponding results of T. Draghici et al. [3].

Kanenobu has given infinite families of knots with the same HOMFLY polynomial invariant but distinct Alexander module structure. In this paper, we give a recursive formula for the Khovanov cohomology of all Kanenobu knots K(p, q), where p and q are integers. The result implies that the rank of the Khovanov cohomology of K(p, q) is an invariant of p + q. Our computation uses only the basic long exact sequence in knot homology and some results on homologically thin knots.

The main result of this article is to factorize the first (σ, τ)-cohomology group of triangular Banach algebra 𝓣 of order three with coefficients in 𝓣 -bimodule 𝓧 to the first (σ, τ)-cohomology groups of Banach algbras 𝓐, 𝓑 and 𝓒, where σ, τ are continuous homomorphisms on 𝓣. As a direct consequence, we find necessary and sufficient conditions for 𝓣 to be (σ, τ)-weakly amenable.

Let R be a commutative Noetherian ring, a be an ideal of R and M be an R-module. It is shown that if $Ext^i_R(R/a,M)$ is minimax for all $i{\leq}{\dim}\;M$, then the R-module $Ext^i_R(N,M)$ is minimax for all $i{\geq}0$ and for any finitely generated R-module N with $Supp_R(N){\subseteq}V(a)$ and dim $N{\leq}1$. As a consequence of this result we obtain that for any a-torsion R-module M that $Ext^i_R(R/a,M)$ is minimax for all $i{\leq}dim$ M, all Bass numbers and all Betti numbers of M are finite. This generalizes [8, Corollary 2.7]. Also, some equivalent conditions for the cominimaxness of local cohomology modules with respect to ideals of dimension at most one are given.

Let $F_0$ be the maximal real subfield of $\mathbb{Q}({\zeta}_q+{\zeta}_q^{-1})$ and $F_{\infty}={\cup}_{n{\geq}0}F_n$ be its basic $\mathbb{Z}_p$-extension. Let $A_n$ be the Sylow $p$-subgroup of the ideal class group of $F_n$. The aim of this paper is to examine the injectivity of the natural $mapA_n{\rightarrow}A_m$ induced by the inclusion $F_n{\rightarrow}F_m$ when $m>n{\geq}0$. By using cyclotomic units of $F_n$ and by applying cohomology theory, one gets the following result: If $p$ does not divide the order of $A_1$, then $A_n{\rightarrow}A_m$ is injective for all $m>n{\geq}0$.
