  • In this paper, we study the global stability and the existence of almost periodic solution of high-order Hopfield neural networks with distributed delays of neutral type. Some sufficient conditions are obtained for the existence, uniqueness and global exponential stability of almost periodic solution by employing fixed point theorem and differential inequality techniques. An example is given to show the effectiveness of the proposed method and results.

  • In this paper, a class of bi-directional associative memory (BAM) fuzzy cellular neural networks with distributed delays and impulses is formulated and investigated. By employing an integro-differential inequality with impulsive initial conditions and the topological degree theory, some sufficient conditions ensuring the existence and global exponential stability of equilibrium point for impulsive BAM fuzzy cellular neural networks with distributed delays are obtained. In particular, the estimate of the exponential convergence rate is also provided, which depends on the delay kernel functions and system parameters. It is believed that these results are significant and useful for the design and applications of BAM fuzzy cellular neural networks. An example is given to show the effectiveness of the results obtained here.

  • By using an important lemma, some analysis techniques and Lyapunov functional method, we establish the sufficient conditions of the existence of equilibrium solution of a class of BAM neural network with impulses and distributed delays. Finally, applications and an example are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the main results.

  • The Real-time Distributed Control Systems(RDCS) consist of several distributed control processes which share a network medium to exchange their data. Performance of feedback control loops in the RDCS is subject to the network-induced delays from sensor to controller and from controller to actuator. The network-induced delays are directly dependent upon the data sampling times of the control components which share a network medium. In this study, a scheduling algorithm of determining data sampling times is developed using the window concept, where the sampling data from the control components dynamically share a limited number of windows.

  • In this paper, a class of impulsive fuzzy bi-directional associative memory (BAM) neural networks with distributed delays and variable coefficients are considered. Using Lyapunov functional method and fixed point theorem, we derived some sufficient conditions for the existence and globally exponential stability of unique periodic solution of the networks. The results obtained are new and extend the previous known results. In addition, an example is given to show the effectiveness of our results obtained.

  • This paper considers the problem of existence and exponential stability of almost periodic solution for shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks with distributed delays and large impulses. Based on the contraction principle and Gronwall-Bellman's inequality, some sufficient conditions are obtained. The results of this paper are new and they complement previously known results.

  • As many sensors and actuators are used in various automated systems, the application of network system to real-time distributed control is gaining acceptance in many industries. In order to take advantages of the network technique. however, network implementation should be carefully designed to satisfy real-time constraints and to consider network delays. This paper presents the implementation of feedback control system in Profibus-DP. Profibus-DP is a type of fieldbus protocols that are specifically designed to interconnect simple devices with fast I/O data exchange. As feedback control in profibus-DP is implemented, Network delays is found with influence of system performance. We analyze network delays in Profibus-DP into 3 reasons - dead time in Profibus interface, protocol delay, delay by asynchronization. In order to compensate the network delays, we introduce control algorithms with time delay concept. The results show that network delay can be compensated.

  • In this paper the networked control systems (NCS) problem is discussed where plants and controllers are distributed and interconnected by a common network. NCS is designed with LQ regulator and applied to an inverted pendulum accounting for the multiple time delays. We are to deals with a networked control system with a single controller, multiple sensors and multiple actuators. Since these parts are distributed, they are interconnected by communication networks. An NCS with LQ regulator is designed and applied to an inverted pendulum as a benchmark plant to check its performance under time delays induced by the network. Network induced delays are composed of two parts. One is the delay from controller to plant, and another is from plant to controller. They are assumed to be constant in this paper, and the plant and controller are discretized. To apply the LQ regulator the NCS model is transformed to a standard model with delayed states as state variable. And real network induced delay is measuring in TCP/IP network assuming that two delays are constant.

  • In this paper, the problem of stability analysis for neural networks with discrete and distributed time-varying delays is considered. By constructing a new Lyapunov functional, a new delay-dependent stability criterion for the network is established in terms of LMIs (linear matrix inequalities) which can be easily solved by various convex optimization algorithms. Two numerical example are included to show the effectiveness of proposed criterion.
