Integer-N 주파수 합성기를 위한 새로운 구조의 프로그램어블 주파수 분주기 설계 (A Design on Novel Architecture Programmable Frequency divider for Integer-N Frequency Synthesizer)

  • Frequency divider selects the channel of the frequency synthesizer. General programmable divider has many flip-flops to realize all integer division value and stability problem by using dual modules prescaler. In this paper, a new architecture of programmable divider is proposed and designed to improve these problems. The proposed programmable divider has only thirteen flip-flops. The programmable divider is designed by 0.65${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ CMOS technology and HSPICE. Operating frequency of the programmable divider is 200MHz with a 3V supply voltage.

이종센서 영상탐색기 시험평가를 위한 적외선 표적원 개발 (Development of Infrared Target for Dual-Sensor Imaging Seeker's Test and Evaluation in HILS System)

  • 본 논문에서는 대지, 대공 표적을 포착 추적할 수 있는 적외선 및 가시광 센서가 탑재된 이종센서 영상탐색기의 종합 성능시험을 위해 구축한 HILS(Hardware In-the-Loop Simulation) 시스템 내에 적외선 표적원을 제안한다. 이 통합시스템은 다양한 종류의 표적과 시나리오 기반 이동 표적의 궤적을 모사하기 위해 열원 및 광원을 출력하는 100개의 모듈로 구성하였다. 또한 표적에 대한 위치, 속도, 방향, 배경 클러터와 재밍 환경 등을 모사할 수 있다. 이종센서 영상탐색기의 시험평가를 위해 구축된 HILS 시스템의 전체 시스템 구성과 적외선 표적원의 설계 및 측정 결과를 제시한다. 향후에, 구축된 HILS 시스템에서 모의비행 시나리오 기반으로 동적 실시간 포착 추적에 대한 단일 또는 이종센서가 탑재된 이종센서 영상탐색기의 성능을 시험할 예정이다.

  • Let I be an ideal of Noetherian local ring (R, m) and M an artinian R-module. In this paper, we study colocalization of local homology modules. In fact we give Colocal-global Principle for the artinianness and minimaxness of local homology modules, which is a dual case of Local-global Principle for the finiteness of local cohomology modules. We define the representation dimension rI (M) of M and the artinianness dimension aI (M) of M relative to I by rI (M) = inf{i ∈ ℕ0 : HIi (M) is not representable}, and aI (M) = inf{i ∈ ℕ0 : HIi (M) is not artinian} and we will prove that i) aI (M) = rI (M) = inf{rIR𝖕 (𝖕M) : 𝖕 ∈ Spec(R)} ≥ inf{aIR𝖕 (𝖕M) : 𝖕 ∈ Spec(R)}, ii) inf{i ∈ ℕ0 : HIi (M) is not minimax} = inf{rIR𝖕 (𝖕M) : 𝖕 ∈ Spec(R) ∖ {𝔪}}. PVT 모듈 성능 평가를 위한 기초 연구 (The Fundamental Researches to Evaluate PVT Module Performance)

  • 본 연구는 신규로 구축 된 장비의 정확성과 PVT 제품의 KS 기준의 방향성을 살펴보았다. 먼저 신규로 구축된 Indoor solar thermal simulator의 경우, 인공광의 빔 균일도와 분광 특성을 기존의 규격 조건을 충족되도록 설계했으며, 실제 시험을 통해 B 등급임을 확인하였다. Indoor solar thermal simulator 장비의 정확도는 상용 태양광 모듈 및 기존 상용 장비로 측정 후, 최대 전력값을 비교했으며 오차 값은 약 0.4%로 정확도가 높음을 확인하였다. PVT 제품의 효율은 기존의 태양광 모듈 KS 기준과 태양열 집열기 KS 기준을 준용하여 측정하면 될 것으로 보이며, PVT 제품의 구조적 특징인 열매체 냉각에 의한 추가 전기 효율 방법 개발은 필요해 보이며, 본 연구에서는 태양광 모듈 케이블의 단락 유무에 따른 효율 상승 차이를 살펴보았고 추가 전기 효율 측정 방법으로 가능성을 제시하였다. 다양한 PVT 모듈의 유형에 따라 특히, PVT 모듈 전면에 유리 커버 유무에 따라 출력 감소가 발생되고 추가 공정에 의해 전기 출력 특성이 달라지는 값을 고려하여 PVT 제품의 전기 효율 측정 시험은 인증을 받은 제품을 이용하여 제작을 했어도 반드시 재시험이 필요하다고 판단되며, 시험방법이 수립되어야한다. 마지막으로 PVT 제품의 내구성 평가를 경우, 기존의 태양광 모듈 및 집열기의 내구성 시험의 모든항목을 KS 인증 시험 항목에 포함 시켜야 된다고 판단되며, 제품의 특성에 따라 시험의 재배열을 추가 연구가 필요해 보이며, 집열기 부분의 내구성을 고려하여 합부 기준을 추가적으로 고려해야 한다고 판단된다.

  • Pump-cap is a device for discharging the contents stored inside a container to the outside of the container by a simple operation by a certain amount. In particular, in recent years, as the number of cosmetic products made of functional materials has rapidly increased, the development of convenient containers for functional materials is being actively conducted. Among these, there are a growing number of products that show their efficacy only by mixing two components, so the development of a dual pump cap container is necessary. However, the conventional dual pump cap container has a problem in that it is difficult to implement a quantitative discharge as solutions having different viscosities are used. Therefore, in this study, a discharge port of a dual pump cap that can apply an optimal ratio was designed by analyzing the discharge amount of two components with different viscosities through computational fluid dynamics. Since the discharge amount is affected by the size of the discharge port, the higher the viscosity of the solution, the larger the discharge port should be set. Conversely, the lower the viscosity, the smaller the discharge port should be. Through this, it is possible to dispense a fixed amount of a heterogeneous solution by one pumping, and it is determined that the user's convenience will increase.

Effects of Ginsenosides $Rg_3$ and $Rh_2$ OH the Proliferation of Prostate Cancer Cells

  • Ginseng has an anti-cancer effect in several cancer models. This study was to characterize active constituents of ginseng and their effects on proliferation of prostate cancer cell lines, LNCaP and PC3. Cell proliferation was measured by $[^3H]$thymidine incorporation, the intracellular calcium concentration by a dual-wavelength spectrophotometer system, effects on mite-gen-activated protein (MAP) kinases by Western blotting, and cell attachment and morphologic changes were observed under a microscope. Among 11 ginsenosides tested, ginsenosides $Rg_3\;and\;Rh_2$ inhibited the proliferation of prostate cancer cells. $EC_{50}s\;of\;Rg_3\;and\;Rh_2$ on PC3 cells were $8.4{\mu}M\;and\;5.5{\mu}M$, respectively, and $14.1{\mu}M\;and\;4.4{\mu}M$ on LNCaP cells, respectively. Both ginsenosides induced cell detachment and modulated three modules of MAP kinases activities differently in LNCaP and PC3 cells. These results suggest that ginsenosides $Rg_3\;and\;Rh_2$-induced cell detachment and inhibition of the proliferation of prostate cancer cells may be associated with modulation of three modules of MAP kinases.

PC기반의 생산시스템을 위한 운용소프트웨어 구조 (An Operating Software Architecture for PC-based)

  • In this paper, a new architecture of operating software associated with the component-based method is proposed. The proposed architecture comprises 문 execution module and a decision-making module. In order to make effective development and maintenance, the execution module is divided into three components. The components are referred to as Symbol, Gateway, and Control, respectively: The symbol component is for the GUI environments and the standard interfaces; the gateway component is for the network communication and the structure of asynchronous processes; the control component is for the asynchronous processing and machine setting or operations. In order to verify the proposed architecture, and off-line version of operating software is made, and its steps are as follows; I) Make virtual execution modules for the manufacturing devices such as dual-arm robot, handling robot, CNC, and sensor; ii) Make decision-making module; iii) Integrate the modules and GUI using a well-known development tools such as Microsofts Visual Basic; iv) Execute the overall operating software to validate the proposed architecture. The proposed software architecture in this paper has the advantages such as independent development of each module, easy development of network communication, and distributed processing of resources, and so on.

New Energy Efficient Clear Channel Assessment for Wireless Network

  • In this paper, a new clear channel assessment (CCA) method: cascaded-CCA, is proposed. The primary motivation for the proposed approach is to integrate the respective advantages of two standard CCA mechanisms, energy detect and preamble detect, to arrive at a new dual threshold CCA family that can provide greater flexibility towards tuning MAC performance. Cascaded-CCA integrates energy efficiency of the energy detector (ED) and the reliability of the preamble detector (PD). The probability of detection/false alarm and power consumption of cascaded-CCA in the CCA modules of IEEE 802.11b are analyzed and compared with ED and PD as an example. The performance of cascaded-CCA is explored via MATLAB simulations that implement the CCA modules and medium access control (MAC) protocol for IEEE 802.11 and IEEE 802.15.4. Simulation results showed that cascaded-CCA improves the energy efficiency significantly compared to ED-only or PD-only CCA. In addition, ED, PD, and cascaded CCA are applied to a cognitive network scenario to validate the effectiveness of the proposed cascaded-CCA.

Power module stray inductance extraction: Theoretical and experimental analysis

  • We propose a stray inductance extraction method on power modules of the few-kilovolts/several-hundred-amperes class using only low voltages and low currents. The method incorporates a double-pulse generator, a level shifter, a switching device, and a load inductor. The conventional approach generally requires a high voltage of more than half the power module's rated voltage and a high current of around half the rated current. In contrast, the proposed method requires a low voltage and low current environment regardless of the power module's rated voltage because the module is measured in a turn-off state. Both theoretical and experimental results are provided. A physical circuit board was fabricated, and the method was applied to three commercial power modules with EconoDUAL3 cases. The obtained stray inductance values differed from the manufacturer-provided values by less than 1.65 nH, thus demonstrating the method's accuracy. The greatest advantage of the proposed approach is that high voltages or high currents are not required.

A High-Efficiency High-Power Step-Up Converter with Low Ripple Content

  • A new phase-shifted parallel-input/series-output (PI SO) dual inductor-fed push-pull converter for high-power step­up applications is proposed. This converter is operated at a constant duty cycle and employs an auxiliary circuit to control the output voltage with a phase-shift between the two modules. It features a voltage conversion characteristic which is linear to changes in the control input, and high step-up ratio with a greatly reduced switch turn-off stress resulting in a significant increase in the converter efficiency. It also shows a low ripple content and low root-mean-square (RMS) current in the output capacitor. The operational principle is analyzed and a comparative analysis with the conventional pulse-width-modulated (PWM) PISO dual inductor-fed push-pull converter is presented. A 50kHz, 800W, 350Vdc prototype with an input of 20-32Vdc has also been constructed to validate the proposed converter. The proposed converter compares favorably with the conventional counterpart and is considered well suited to high-power step-up applications.
