This paper deals with how system dynamics can be used as a methodology for policy critics. First of all, I discuess conditions that is required as a methodoogy of policy critics. A methodology for policy critics should be ease to be uderstood by lay people. It can be produced within limited time and have high relevancy to the policy reality. By reviewing some examples and literatures, I propose that system dynamics can meet these requirements and thus can be a promising tool for policy critics.

A system dynamics model is developed in order to evaluate the contribution level of the activities regarding HANARO, which is the research reactor in Korea. The system dynamics model has room to be improved, but it is logically sound enough to evaluate the general level of contributions and to develop strategies for the HANARO to be more contributable. Considering the uncertainty involved with the input variables, the contribution level is ranged from 3 times to about 30 times of the investment made on it. The evaluation results can be summarized as follows : (Table Omitted).

This research is focusing on industry dynamics of Korean Mobile Telecommunications Industry. Industry data from 1997 to April 2004 are used to analyze industry dynamics through variety use of case study and system dynamics modeling. As results, we found the importance of initial endowment, firm reputation, and handset subsidy strategy. Along with these player-based characteristics, government impacts on dynamics of competition are also investigated.

In order to predict vibrations occurred during end-milling processes, the cutting dynamics was modelled by using neural network and combined with structural dynamics by considering dynamic cutting state. Specific cutting force constants of the cutting dynamics model were obtained by averaging cutting forces. Tool diameter, cutting speed, fled, axial and radial depth of cut were considered as machining factors in neural network model of cutting dynamics. Cutting farces by test and by neural network simulation were compared and the vibration displacement during end-milling was simulated.

Conflict resolution in decision-making groups is studied using a System Dynamics model. The model is developed using a grounded-theory approach. Some preliminary results are shown. The results seem to be in line with much empirical research done in the management literature about conflict and conflict resolution at the group level of analysis. Ideas for further research are discussed.

The existence of solutions and the occurrence of a Hopf bifurcation for the free boundary problems with Pushchino dynamics was shown in [1]. In this paper, we shall show a Hopf bifurcation occurs for the free boundary for Pushchino dynamics with a spatial dependency.
