A Study on the Operational Problems of e-Trade Document Repositary (전자무역문서보관소(電子貿易文書保管所) 운영상(運營上)의 문제점(問題點)에 관한 연구(硏究))

  • It is no unnecessary to tell the importance of foreign trade in Korea economics. Nevertheless, government's direct support is impossible owing to WTO's regulation. Accordingly, government have brought focus into trade facilitation as paperless trade. e-Trade document repositary building by government's budget and private sector's cooperation is a part of e-Trade platform and necessary function in connection with relay and certification of e-Trade document. This study examined the estimated operational problems of e-Trade document repositary as compared Licensed Electronic Document Repositary. Firstly, the operator of e-Trade document repositary undertake multiple role and function as Licensed Certification Authorities(e-sign Act), Licensed Electronic Document Repositary(Framework Act on Electronic Transaction) etc. Secondly, sufficient levy that meet operating cost of the e-trade document is the key point of e-Trade document repositary's success, because additional budget invest in that operation is too hard to do. Thirdly, the operator of the e-Trade document repositary have to keep fairness, objectivity and transparency because the operational right is exclusive.

  • Document retrieval (DR) has been a serious issue for long in the field of Office Information Management. Nowadays, our daily work is becoming heavily dependent on the usage of information collected from the internet, and the DR methods on the Web has become an important issue which is studied more than any other topic by many researchers. The main purpose of this study is to develop a model to manage business documents by integrating three major methodologies used in the field of electronic library and information retrieval: Metadata, Thesaurus, and Index/Reversed Index. In addition, we have added a new concept of eDocument, which consists of metadata about unit documents and/or unit document themselves. eDocument is introduced as a way to utilize existing document sources. The core concepts and structures of the model were introduced, and the architecture of the eDocument management system has been proposed. Test (simulation) result of the model and the direction for the future studies were also mentioned.

  • E-document deposit and issue service among other services is critical service in CEDA(Certified E-Document Deposit Authority) that assure reliability and stability of E-document. After owner's E-document is registered in CEDA, issuing partial information(a part of page) is to prevent exposure of superfluous information when owner issue E-document to 3rd party. Also we suggested that is able to verify validation of E-document as validation check module is inserted suggested system.

  • This paper is about the system to process XML-based EDI e-document. This system does not use the script file when translating EDI e-document into the XML-based EDI-document. We design and implement the scanner and mapper which are the e-document processors with binary format used when reading and writing the documents. Also, we design and implement the mapping tools that graphically define the translation rules among e-documents. Therefore, the proposed XML-based EDI e-document processing system has characteristics advantages of XML and more benefits than the previous EDI e-document processing system such as faster speed, convenience, and better adaptability. Due to these advantages, this system will be widely used as the B2B gateway system.

  • In this paper, XML form generator is designed and implemented on the basis of e-business's DTD (Document Type Definition) document. Rapid evolving for internet services and information infrastructure give many impacts on the e-business, it need to make a new kinds of web-based or electronic-based document formats for e-business transaction trading. In current situations, there are many kinds of document formats on conventional business documents for each companies. And, it has many problems on the aspects of the document reusability and cost to support interoperability between documents for the trading partners. To solve this interoperability of documents, the constructed XML form generator is changing XML form document into HTML (HyperText Markup Language) based web document by XSLT. And it also generates XML business message validating for e-Business DTD by user Inputs.

  • The reason of a today business of the biggest change is commercial transaction through Internet. Day relent, the commercial transaction through such Internet is giving B2B company transaction the biggest influence. The Document for information exchange that need to B2B company transaction through Internet must send efficiently the information, independent in the system and improve a Interoperability between business partners. Existing information exchange document happened problems about information exchange and the entry of XML became the gauge to solve problems that had an existing information exchange document. Also, the e-business based on XML was constructed. Thus, writing out necessary document for the as well as XML document. In this paper, 1 designed and implemented of integration document editing system to create document for e- business.

  • Automatic document classification may differ significantly according to the characteristics of documents that are subject to classification, as well as classifier's performance. This research identifies e-mail document's characteristics to apply a three-step preprocessing algorithm that can minimize e-mail document's atypical characteristics. In the first 5go, uncertain based sampling algorithm that used Mean Absolute Deviation(MAD), is used to address the question of selection learning document for the rule generation at the time of classification. In the subsequent stage, Weighted vlaue assigning method by attribute is applied to increase the discriminating capability of the terms that appear on the title on the e-mail document characteristic level. in the third and last stage, accuracy level during classification by each category is increased by using Naive Bayesian Presumptive Algorithm's Dynamic Threshold. And, we implemented an E-Mail Recommendtion System using a three-step preprocessing algorithm the enable users for direct and optimal classification with the recommendation of the applicable category when a mail arrives.

A Study on Service of Certified e-Document Authority System (공인전자문서보관소 서비스에 관한 연구)

  • This study deals with a certified e-document authority system to securely archive e-documents by a government authorized third party. For this study, I have looked at three cases of certified e-document authority systems and compared then with the similar cases in the USA and Japan. In my conclusion, I suggest four ideas to improve the service of certified e-document authority system. First, the company providing the certified e-document authority system needs to expand to special services. Second, they need to concentrate on subject area of their business. Third, they should provide a consulting service for business archives with business customers. Finally, they can support additional services like document risk management and other digital contents archiving.

  • This paper aims to offer a solution based on semantic document classification to improve e-Government utilization and efficiency for people using their own information retrieval system and linguistic expression Generally, semantic document classification method is an approach that classifies documents based on the diverse relationships between keywords in a document without fully describing hierarchial concepts between keywords. Our approach considers the deep meanings within the context of the document and radically enhances the information retrieval performance. Concept Weight Document Classification(CoWDC) method, which goes beyond using exist ing keyword and simple thesaurus/ontology methods by fully considering the concept hierarchy of various concepts is proposed, experimented, and evaluated. With the recognition that in order to verify the superiority of the semantic retrieval technology through test results of the CoWDC and efficiently integrate it into the e-Government, creation of a thesaurus, management of the operating system, expansion of the knowledge base and improvements in search service and accuracy at the national level were needed.

  • In this paper, we designed and implemented the general-purpose document repository manager for the ebXML-based e-business framework that support the rapid translation of various types of documents and provide the flexibility corresponding to the framework changes. Also, we automated the manually-processed e-business document translation process by designing the adaptor module for the interoperability of legacy systems. In the regards, our designed general purpose document manager makes it possible to integrate the existing e-commerce systems that are operated on the heterogeneous frameworks, and can be used on global e-business solution.
