노년기 여가활동 : 노년기 여가 교육을 중심으로 (Leisure Activity of the elderly : Focused on the Elderly Education-)

  • This study aimed to investigate leisure activity of the elderly, focused on the elderly education. Two hundred thirty nine elderly persons in the region of Cheongju were selected, and questionnaire was utilized for collecting data. As statistical methods, frequency, %, crosstabs analysis with spsswin was used. Five principle results emerged from this study. First, the elderly education was based on law of welfare of the aged and law of life long education. Second, the elderly education programs consist of four subcategories- intellectual, emotional, social, physical subcategories. Third, many of the elderly participated in physical subcategories. Fourth, the levels of elderly participating in leisure activity was relatively high and differed significantly according to age, time level and cause of participating in leisure activity. Fifth, they were segmented into eight groups by level of education, health and economic status. Among them, the group of positive attitudes and participated on elderly education was more likely to be higher level of education, health and economic status. Based on the results of this study, participating elderly education provides solution of problem and self development for the elderly. In order to prepare Korean society for the aged society, the government need to offer a basis on law and policy for the elderly education, as well as program the elderly education.

  • This study analysed the needs of the elderly in computer education, their preference and demands for computer education to enhance the quality of information welfare for the elderly, and presented a computer education model for higher quality information welfare for the elderly to maximize the effect of computer education. For this study, variables were selected from previous studies and by the researcher to present a computer education model for the elderly.

과학기술 시대 노인교육의 방향 (Direction of Elderly Education in the Age of Science and Technology)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 과학기술 시대 노인교육의 방향을 탐색하는 것이다. 연구목적 달성을 위한 연구내용은 첫째, 노인교육의 현황을 살펴보고, 둘째, 과학기술 시대 노인교육의 방향을 제시하는 것이다. 노인교육의 현황으로 노인교육은 계속 변화하고 발전하고 있으며, 노인들이 더 풍요로운 노후 생활을 즐길 수 있도록 다양한 프로그램과 활동이 제공되고 있다. 노인실태조사보고서를 보면 노인의 학습활동의 경우 전체 노인의 11.9%가 학습활동에 참여하고 있다. 노인교육 학습활동 참여자의 학습활동 실시 기관은 노인복지관이 35.5%로 가장 많았다. 과학기술 시대 노인교육의 방향으로 첫째, 노인 교육내용 구성의 경우 디지털 기술 및 정보 활용 교육이 필요하다. 둘째, 노인 교육 방법의 경우 맞춤형 노인교육 방법이 필요하다. 셋째, 노인교육 기관 운영의 경우 노인교육을 위한 전문 교육 센터를 더욱 강화하고 지원해야 한다. 국제사회는 노인인구의 증가로 인해 새로운 사회제도의 구축과 재정적 투자를 사회적 위기가 아닌 새로운 성장동력으로 삼자는 공감대가 이미 형성되고 있다. 고령 인구의 증가로 사회보장 영역의 부담이 있지만 노인의 잠재된 역량과 경험을 새롭게 인식하여 사회적 자원으로 환원할 수 있는 방향으로 전환하고 있다. 과학기술 시대의 노인교육은 미래 사회를 건강하고 발전적으로 건설해 갈 수 있는 방향으로 전환할 필요가 있다.

노년기 교육프로그램 개발의 현황과 과제 (A Study on the Research Trends and Tasks in the Development of the Education Programs for the Elderly)

  • Korean society with low fertility rate and high aging rate crisis has been tried very hard to find out alternatives to solve these social problems. These efforts resulted in increasing the development of education programs for the elderly. The education for the elderly have been development in various different academic fields. Therefore, this is the time to establish database for education programs which developed so far. The purpose of this study is to examine research trend in the field of education programs for the elderly in Korea. For this purpose, 62 education programs for the elderly which developed so far were analyzed. The results of this study were as followed. The topics of education programs for the elderly were divided into the following : a marriage enrichment programs for the elderly married couples, leisure programs, death education programs, health education programs, economic education programs, education programs for grandparents raising their grandchildren, etc. Based on the results of this analysis, the tasks of future research about education programs for the elderly were presented.

충북 지역 노인 소비자의 소비자 정보화 교육 방안 : 지역사회 주민을 위한 충북의 정보화 교육과의 연계 (A Proposal on the Elderly Consumer's Consumer Informationization Education in Chung-buk Province : Connection with the Informationization Education for the Community by Chung-buk Province)

  • The purpose of this study was to suggest the elderly consumer's consumer informationization education connected with the informationization education for the community by Chung-buk province. Three hundred seventy nine elders were surveyed, with questionnaires from August 12 to September 30, 2002, and a hypothetical model of the consumer informationization education on the basis of the informationization education for the suggestion of the elderly consumer's consumer informationization education was tested. The results were as follows: the perception and the attitude on the informationization education of the elderly were, with a statistical significance, positively related to the perception and the attitude on the consumer informationization education of the elderly. The consumer informationization education (basis, application, attendance, and mission) on the basis of the informationization education (basis and application) in steps was supported as a suggestion for the elderly consumer's consumer informationization education.

노인복지관의 정보화 교육만족도가 노인의 정보활용 및 생활만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Informatization Education Satisfaction of Elderly Welfare Center on Elderly Information Usage and Life Satisfaction)

  • 본 연구는 노인복지관의 정보화 교육만족도가 노인의 정보활용만족도 및 생활만족도에 미치는 영향에 관하여 연구하였다. 이를 위하여 2015년 09월 02일부터 09월 24일까지 서울 및 수도권의 노인복지관에 등록하여 활동하고 있는 노인을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 노인의 정보인지 영역의 향상에 있어서는 정보화 교육만족도의 교육내용, 교육강사, 교육환경의 요인이 중요함을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 노인의 정보경험 영역의 향상에 있어서는 정보화 교육만족도의 교육내용, 교육방법, 교육강사, 교육환경의 요인이 중요한 요인임을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 노인의 개인요인 만족도 향상에 있어서는 정보화 교육만족도의 교육내용, 교육강사의 요인이 중요한 요인임을 알 수 있었다. 이를 통하여 노인의 정보활용만족 및 생활만족도를 함양하기 위해서는 노인의 정보화 교육만족도의 함양이 중요하며 이를 위해서 노인복지관 등의 기관을 통하여 실시하고 있는 노인의 정보화 교육을 구성하는 하위요인의 점검이 필요하다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

농촌지역 노인돌봄 교육프로그램의 효과성 평가 (Effectiveness Evaluation of the Education Program to Take Care of the Elderly in the Rural Area)

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate an education program to take care of the elderly in the rural area. The education program that includes 4 sessions are carried out in the community center. The 4 sessions are to understand rural elderly and volunteer role, help elderly's daily living, aid elderly to use welfare services and support the elderly's leisure. The subjects were 30 persons under 60 years of age living in Jangseong and Hoengsung villages. By paired t-test, knowledge on caring and the attitude for elderly and volunteer showed significant differences between before and after the education program. After the training, 66.7% of the subjects answered 'yes' to the question that asked whether they would like to participate in caring volunteer for neighboring elderly. Subjects's positively changed attitude can stimulate positive behavior that eventually enables them to provide high quality services. The satisfaction of the program showed high scores for contents, place and operation of education.

노인의 죽음 준비교육이 죽음의 불안도에 미치는 요인분석 연구 (A study on the influence of the preparative education on the Elderly's attitude for death)

  • This study attempt to analyze the influence of the preliminary education on the Elderly's attitude for death and to present basic data for the death-preliminary education. The data were collected by administerial the Questionnaire interview with 169 the elderly who was 200 the elderly over 60 year old in silver colleges. The Questions was consists the awareness recognition of death, character, attitudes toward for death. The statistical methods used for the analysis were t-test, factor analysis. The results were the follows. There was no statistically significant relations between the fear of death and the general characteristics the elderly, but the old women felt more anxiety than old men. Especially, more aged, unhealthy the elderly felt it more and the lower educated or the single felt it more severely. The change in the attitude for death: They attitude for death was considerably changed after the preliminary education. Fears and anxiety about death were more reduced and the inevitability of death was accepted positively. This result showed the influence of the preliminary death education had positive affliction of the elderly's attitude for death. Accordingly, with the practice of the preliminary education we can release the elderly from the fear for death and guide them to live meaningly.

고령층 정보화 교육 활성화 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Information Education for the Elderly)

  • The ability to use and utilize information technology devices in the knowledge-based society shows many differences in terms of quality of life. However, in the case of the elderly, the elderly suffer difficulties in acquiring information technology due to their aging characteristics, so they can not easily adapt to rapidly changing societies. Therefore, it is becoming more and more important to educate the elderly who are trying to adapt to the new environment of knowledge-based society. Therefore, in this study, we analyzed the previous researches of the researchers related to the elderly informatization education and the report of the actual situation of the digital divide of the government, and identified the problems and suggested ways to activate the effective education for the aged. The following suggestions are made to activate information education. First, there is a need for systematic promotion and professional counseling on the need for information education for the elderly learners. Second, the development of various curriculum that can be used in real life. Third, development of customized learning materials. etc. Fourth, Obtain a professional lecturer for the elderly. It is limited to lecturers who have completed teaching and learning methods that reflect the characteristics of the elderly. Fifth, the introduction of qualification certification system that can measure the level of informatization of the elderly learners. Sixth, building e-learning system for elderly people. Seventh, to establish a new organization dedicated solely to information education for the elderly. When these parts are realized, it will help elderly people to improve their quality of life through alleviation of solitude and alienation.
