A Basic Study for the Fire Potentiality in Wire being Applied Electric Current (통전중인 도선에서 화재 가능성에 관한 기초 연구)

  • In total electric fire in Korea in 2006, a rate of the electric fire caused of short in electric wire is over 63.2[%]. It is needed to study a fire potentiality in electric wire. This paper studies contact and fire potentiality between a electric wire and conductors existed around the electric wire. As amplitude of current in electric wire is bigger, as it has higher possibility to contact between a electric wire and conductors existed around the electric wire. In case of temperature of wire is over combustion point of outer sheath, it is appeared to spark discharge between wire and conductors. So the fire potentiality raise up.

  • This paper describes electrical fire on electric pad caused by defect of hot wires. We analyzed two type electric pad using by carbon type hot wire and magnetic shielded type hot wire. First, a carbon type hot wires electric pad is virtually impossible to connect hot wire as a method of electrical welding or soldering. In order to connect between hot wires, that has to splice carbon type material connector. If junction of hot wires was occurrence of poor connection on electric pad, it increase contact resistance on this junction point. With increasing contact resistance, junction of hot wires on electric pad generates local heating and finally leads to electrical fire. An electric pad using by a magnetic shielded type hot wire happened local heating on signal wire for sensing temperature-rise caused by applying current for magnetic shielded. With increasing local heating of signal wire, insulated coating of hot wire was melted. Finally the magnetic shielded type hot wire electric pad lead to electrical fire with breakdown between signal wire and hot wire. In this paper, we analyzed shape of damage in hot wire caused by electrical local heating and investigated fire cause on electric pad due to defect of hot wires.

  • New transmission lines are gradually constructed with high voltage and power for increase of electric power demands. And electric losses that are produced in line are increased. we made the algorithm for low loss wire and developed the computer program that makes loss of electric wire to be decreased for efficient power transmission. Electric wire is designed not to be decreased electrical and mechanical properties than that of existing electric wire.

  • The purpose of this study was to present the method to choose the optimization machining condition for the wire electric discharge machine. This was completed by examining the ever-changing quality of the material and by improving the function of the wire electric discharge machine. Precision metal mold products and the unmanned wire electric discharge machining system were used and then applied in industrial fields. This experiment uses the wire electric discharge machine with brass wire electrode of 0.25mm. In this experiment, we changed no-node voltage to 7 and 9, pulse-on-time to 6$mutextrm{s}$, 8$mutextrm{s}$ and 10$mutextrm{s}$, pulse-off-time to 8$mutextrm{s}$, 10$mutextrm{s}$ and 13$mutextrm{s}$, and experimented on wire tension at room temperature by 1000gf, 1200gf, and 1400gf, respectively.

  • 본 논문에서는 -50[$^{\circ}C$]환경에서 케이블 접속함의 극한지역 적용가능 여부를 확인하기 위해 접속함의 주재료인 Etylene Propylene Rubbe(EPR), Silicone Rubber(SR) 및 Epoxy의 물성 및 특성 평가 시험을 진행하였다. 실험방법은 DSC(Differential Scanning Calorimetry)를 사용하여 10[$^{\circ}C$]/min의 승온속도로 각각의 온도구간에서 샘플들의 Tg(Glass Transition Temperature)를 측정하였고, UTM(Universal Testing Machine)으로 -50[$^{\circ}C$]~ 상온에서 인장강도 및 신율을 측정하였다. 본 연구를 동하여, 극한지역의 전력계통 연계 안정성 및 신뢰성 향상을 위한 기초적인 Data-base를 구축했다.

  • Dielectric breakdown strength of LDPE films was investigated using metal electrodes and semiconductive electrodes respectively. In both of two cases, the results show that there are characteristics of dependence on thickness and dependence on temperature. However, there are some differences in both cases.

  • 본 논문에서는 전력케이블 절연 코어의 열이력을 추정하기 위해 DSC를 이용한 열 이력 분석을 진행하였다. 일반적으로 전력케이블 절연코어에 인가된 열이력은 온도이력, 시간에 따라 그 열적거동이 달라지며, 이러한 특성을 이용하여, 제조공정 이력 및 운영시 부하온도 추정이 가능하다. 현재까지 보고된 열이력 추정연구는 XLPE절연체에 국한 되어 있으며, 온도 이력과 시간이 열적거동에 미치는 영향 및 반도전층 자재까지 확대하여 적용한 사례는 거의 보고되어 있지 않다. 본 논문에서는 DSC 모의실험을 통한 절연코어 샘플에 대하여, 열이력 추정 분석법의 유효성을 평가할 수 있었다.

  • To cope with increasing of electric power demand in metropolitan areas, large capacity underground power cables are needed. Under such situations, our company has developed 345kV XLPE insulated cable and accessories. As the final step of development of the 345kV XLPE cable and accessories, the pre-qualification test was carried out on the test line composed of cables, pre-fabricated joints, EB-Gs and EB-As. This paper sums up the pre-qualification test conditions and the results.

  • 초고압 XLPE 케이블용 접속재는 고도의 신뢰성과 안정성이 요구되며, 국내외적으로 제품 경량화, 시공 공정 단순화 등 고객의 다양한 요구가 점차 증가하는 추세이다. 당사는 220kV 1C${\times}$2000SQ XLPE 케이블 접속재인 EB-G(가스중 종단접속함)를 Slip-on Type으로 적용함으로써 고객의 요구에 맞춰 단순한 내부절연구조에서 비롯되는 전기적 특성의 안정성과 신속한 시공성을 확보하게 되었다. 본고에서는 220kV급 접속재인 가스중종단접속함(EB-G)의 설계, 개발시험에 관하여 소개하고자 한다.
