실험실의 사고분석을 통한 발생빈도 및 강도의 정량적 위험성 평가 기법에 관한 연구 (Study on quantitative danger evaluation technique about frequency and strength of occurrences through accident analysis of laboratories)

  • In this study, with the objects of 173 institutions of university and research institutions, investigation was carried out through visit investigation and questionnaire investigation. Frequency and strength of occurrences was acquired mainly through universities and research institutions which have reported occurrences of accidents to the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology. Quantitative danger evaluation was conducted through frequency and strength of occurrences. Case study was carried out by selecting bio science laboratory of university and as the result of this study, degree of danger among the inspection objects of bio science laboratories, laboratory work place was evaluated as the most dangerous with the scores of 155.00 and as the result of average danger level, compression gas cylinder was evaluated as the most dangerous with the scores of 6.4000.

  • Evaluation of the quantitative risk of collision plays a key role in developing the expert system of navigation and collision avoidance. This study analysed thoroughly how to determine the threshold of avoidance sector as described in the new evaluation of collision risk, and suggested the collision risk obtained by the alteration of course and/or speed in order to pass clear qf each danger zone as the threshold of avoidance sector.

노거수 위험도 평가지표 선정 연구 (The Evaluation Indexes' Selection of the Degree of Danger from Big and Old Trees)

  • 노거수의 보호 및 관리는 도시 유적 보존에 매우 중요하다. 노거수의 위험인자에 대한 위험도를 평가하면 정확한 보호대책을 수립할 수 있다. 본 연구는 노거수의 위험도 평가지표를 개발하기 위하여 델파이 기법을 이용하여 4차례에 걸쳐 설문조사를 실시하고, 관련 분야 전문가의 의견을 수렴하였다. 1, 2차 설문 과정 중에 필요한 지표를 추가하고, 2, 3차에서 중요도, 수렴도, 합의도 등 정상범위 밖에 있는 지표를 제외하였다. 최종 분석 결과, 위험도는 자체노화, 생육환경, 수목병해충, 토양상황, 관리 상태 5개 분야 총 41개 지표가 도출되었다. 연구 결과는 노거수의 위험도를 산정하기 위한 평가지표를 도출하는데 기초자료로 활용될 수 있다.

  • 이 논문에서는 제조공장 사업장 현장 내 각 공정을 촬영한 영상을 인공지능(AI)으로 분석하여 위험·유해 요인을 파악할 수 있도록 작업장 위험지도(Danger Map)를 개발하고 이 Danger Map 에서 도출된 빈도·강도에 기반한 위험도와 안전도를 실제 현장상황에 맞추어 자동으로 도출하여 유사 제조 업종에 적용할 수 있는 시스템을 제시히였다. 특히, 사업장의 안전도(위험도)를 엑셀 등 수동으로 평가하던 종래의 평가방식에서 영상으로부터 취득된 유해·위험 요인별 위험성 수준을 자동으로 산정 평가하여 시스템에 의한 안전 확보와 안전도(위험도)를 계산함으로써 이에 따라 기업에서 적절한 활동 및 조치를 마련할 수 있도록 하였다. 안전도(위험도) 산출 및 평가 자동화를 위해 '하인리히의 법칙(Heinrich's law)'을 모델로 하였으며, 위험한 행동 패턴에 대해 5X4점 평가척도를 계산하였다. 이 시스템을 실증적용하기 위해 금속주물주조공장에 적용하였으며 매월 안전도(위험도) 계산에 추가되는 시간적 비용 및 노동력을 2명 절감할 수 있었다.

  • 정확한 산불위험예보는 효율적인 산불감시 및 예방 활동에 기여할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 2002년까지 운용되었던 산림청 산불위험예보시스템의 산불위험지수, 산불위험예보 등급과 실제 산불발생과의 관계를 고찰하였다. 산불위험지수와 산불발생건수의 회귀분석 결과, 비교 적 높은 설명력$(악67\%)$을 가진 반면 산불위험지수와 산불발생 피해면적과는 특별한 상관관계가 없었다. 산불위험예보 등급별로 산불발생의 차이 분석을 위해 일원분산분석을 실시한 결과, 산불발생 건수의 경우 '위험'과 '경계', '없음' 등 세 등급에 차이가 존재했으나, '경계' 와 '없음'은 구별되지 않았다. 산불발생 피해면적의 경우 '위험'과 '경계', '없음' 세 등급 모두에 있어서 차이가 발견되지 않았다. 따라서 금후에는 기존모델에 대한 산불 위험지수 위험등급조정과 더불어 산불확산지수가 고려된 통합산불위험지수 모델의 개발이 필요하다.

한국군 실 사격 훈련간 효율적인 안전지대 데이터 구축 방안 연구 (A Study on the Effective Method to Producing Data for The ROKA Live Fire Training Range Safety)

  • An effective method for produce munitions effectiveness data is to calculate weapon effectiveness indices in the US military's Joint Munitions Effectiveness Manuals (JMEM) and take advantage of the damage evaluation model (GFSM) and weapon Effectiveness Evaluation Model (Matrix Evaluator). However, a study about the Range Safety that can be applied in the live firing exercises is very insufficient in the case of ROK military. The Range Safety program is an element of the US Army Safety Program, and is the program responsible for developing policies and guidance to ensure the safe operation of live-fire ranges. The methodology of Weapon Danger Zone (WDZ) program is based on a combination of weapon modeling/simulation data and actual impact data. Also, each WDZ incorporates a probability distribution function which provides the information necessary to perform a quantitative risk assessment to evaluate the relative risk of an identified profile. A study of method to establish for K-Range Safety data is to develop manuals (pamphlet) will be a standard to ensure the effective and safe fire training at the ROK military education and training and environmental conditions. For example, WDZs are generated with the WDZ tool as part of the RMTK (Range Managers Tool Kit) package. The WDZ tool is a Geographic Information System-based application that is available to operational planners and range safety manager of Army and Marine Corps in both desktop and web-based versions. K-Range Safety Program based on US data is reflected in the Korean terrain by operating environments and training doctrine etc, and the range safety data are made. Thus, verification process on modified variables data is required. K-Range Safety rather than being produced by a single program, is an package safety activities and measures through weapon danger zone tool, SRP (The Sustainable Range Program), manuals, doctrine, terrain, climate, military defence M&S, weapon system development/operational test evaluation and analysis to continuously improving range safety zone. Distribution of this K-range safety pamphlet is available to Army users in electronic media only and is intended for the standing army and army reserve. Also publication and distribution to authorized users for marine corps commands are indicated in the table of allowances for publications. Therefore, this study proposes an efficient K-Range Safety Manual producing to calculate the danger zones that can be applied to the ROK military's live fire training by introducing of US Army weapons danger zone program and Range Safety Manual

Cone beam형 전산화단층촬영장치를 이용한 하악 제1대구치 근심 치근의 danger zone에 관한 연구 (Evaluation of danger zone in mesial root of mandibular first molar by cone beam computed tomography (CBCT))

  • Purpose: To examine the danger zone of mesial root of mandibular first molar of patient without extraction using CBCT (cone-beam computed tomography) to avoid the risk of root perforation. Materials and Methods: 20 mandibular first molars without caries and restorations were collected, CT images were obtained by CBCT ($PSR9000N^{TM}$, Asahi Roentgen Co., Japan), reformed and analyzed by V-work 5.0 (CyberMed Inc., Korea), Distance between canal orifice and furcation was measured. In cross sectional images at 3, 4 and 5 mm below the canal orifice, distal wall thickness of mesiobuccal canal (MB-D), distal wall thickness of mesiolingual canal (ML-D), distal wall thickness of central part (C-D), mesial wall thickness of mesiobuccal canal (MB-M) and mesial wall thickness of mesiolingual canal (ML-M) were measured, Results: The mean distance between the canal orifice and the furcation of the roots is 2.40 mm, Distal wall is found to be thinner than mesial wall. Mean dentinal wall thickness of distal wall is about 1 mm, The wall thickness is thinner as the distance from the canal orifice is farther. But significant differences are not noted between 4 mm and 5 mm in MB-D and C-D, MB-D is thinner than ML-D although the differences is not significant. Conclusion: The present study confirmed the anatomical weakness of distal surface of the coronal part of the mesial roots of mandibular first molar by CBCT and provided an anatomical guide line of wall thickness during endodontic treatment.

Effectiveness of Direct Safety Regulations on Manufacturers and Users of Industrial Machines: Its Implications on Industrial Safety Policies in Republic of Korea

  • Background: Despite considerable efforts made in recent years, the industrial accident rate and the fatality rate in the Republic of Korea are much higher than those in most developed countries in Europe and North America. Industrial safety policies and safety regulations are also known to be ineffective and inefficient in some cases. Methods: This study focuses on the quantitative evaluation of the effectiveness of direct safety regulations such as safety certification, self-declaration of conformity, and safety inspection of industrial machines in the Republic of Korea. Implications on safety policies to restructure the industrial safety system associated with industrial machines are also explored. Results: Analysis of causes in industrial accidents associated with industrial machines confirms that technical causes need to be resolved to reduce both the frequency and the severity of such industrial accidents. Statistical analysis also confirms that the indirect effects of safety device regulation on users are limited for a variety of reasons. Safety device regulation needs to be shifted to complement safety certification and self-declaration of conformity for more balanced direct regulations on manufacturers and users. An example of cost-benefit analysis on conveyor justifies such a transition. Conclusion: Industrial safety policies and regulations associated with industrial machines must be directed towards eliminating the sources of danger at the stage of danger creation, thereby securing the safe industrial machines. Safety inspection further secures the safety of workers at the stage of danger use. The overall balance between such safety regulations is achieved by proper distribution of industrial machines subject to such regulations and the intensity of each regulation. Rearrangement of industrial machines subject to safety certification and self-declaration of conformity to include more movable industrial machines and other industrial machines with a high level of danger is also suggested.
