This study aims to suggest the alternative policies and practices which policy makers can introduce and enlarge for work-family balance of employees. For purpose, this study analyzed the regulation of work time and parental leave benefits of employees. And the results of major projects in family friendly support services were examined. Based on these assessment, this study suggested various flexible work arrangements, papa's quota system in parental leaves, various family leaves for family care, establishment of FFSC in every metropolitan area, diversification of consulting project, and enlarging of certification project on family friendly workplace.

The purpose of this study is to define the roles of the central, district, and municipal Healthy Family Support Centers in order to establish their individual identities. Two hundred twenty-five 225 subjects were surveyed with a questionnaire about the role of each Healthy Family Support Center. The subjects of this study were professors, public officials and staff who were in charged of the Healthy Family Support Centers. This study revealed the following results. First, the central Healthy Family Support Center should playa supportive role to develop and propagate a variety of programs which can be used for the clients in the district and municipal Healthy Family Support Centers. Second, roles of the district Healthy Family Support Center are highly recognized not only for their supportive role in activating municipal Healthy Family Centers but also for their publicity role in them. Finally, the most necessary role of the municipal Healthy Family Support Center is to manage family counseling and family education. In order to accomplish the roles of each Healthy Family Support Center, the mutual relationship among central, district, and municipal Healthy Family Support Centers should be horizontal. Moreover, district Healthy Family Support Centers should be promptly established in order to enable for the central Center to play its roles properly.

This study focused on the Healthy Family Support Center and Multicultural Family Support Center, which supervise the main field of family resource management with institutional household factors. Our research objective was to present datas demonstrating an improvement in the organizational effectiveness of the Multicultural Family Support Center. The burn out average of employees working for the non-profit organization was 2.45, emotional burnout was 2.87, achievement was 2.43, and dehumanization was 2.06. The effectiveness average of the nonprofit organization was 3.56, profitability was 3.65, job satisfaction was 3.58, and organizational commitment was 3.45. The generic characters that caused burnout were age, information, and professionalism in research. The generic characters and burnout that affected the organizational effectiveness included a lack of accomplishment, and emotional exhaustion, and depersonalization, lack of information and professionalism, lack of external resources in that order. The purpose of this research was to determine the effects of burnout in order to prevent job changes and to provide basic data for the improvement of organizational effectiveness.

Family instability has a negative effect on not only an individual household but also the society. The government continues to operate family support centers as a countermeasure to family instability issues. A healthy and multicultural family support center is considered an effective support system that extends from a family unit to the local community. In this study, the satisfaction and demand levels of each center, located in Seoul and Incheon, were examined with respect to items such as operation contents, physical space, and organizational structure. The results showed that various efforts for creating a family-friendly community were implemented in healthy family support centers and multicultural family support centers. It was found that the center organizers and operators focused more on software and programs than on the physical environment. There was mostly a shortage of physical and environmental space. This space shortage limited the planned and ongoing activities in terms of the residents' self-directed participation and space formation for a family-friendly educational culture. Therefore, it was necessary to set up the space-related criteria for each center in order to solve this environmental issue. We identified the baseline data of the criteria for a center's physical and spatial design and size. In particular, it was suggested that a more strategic physical and spatial design is needed to achieve an integral and effective operation for the connection of the family with the local society.

This study explored the integration-support paradigm for transnational marriages and families as a well-grounded service model supporting a transnational family of immigrants in Korea at a time when Korean society showed increased interest in interracial marriages. The research mainly focused on the Dongdaemun-gu Transnational Marriage and Family Support Center, utilizing the relative actual practice at the center and the secondary data of previous studies. The findings were as follows: The integration-support paradigm for transnational marriage and family comprised of the following elements : the institutionalization of welfare and medical services; the systematization of legal institution and execution the settlement of mid- and long-term policies and the practical programs of the government proper approaches to the formation of a healthy marital couple and family relations; total services related to rearing and educating children properly including education cost support to family incomehousing for the stabilization of family life support for socio-cultural exchanges within the family : as well as the radical conversion of social recognition of a transnational family. This paradigm is expected to be a well-grounded service for the integration-support of transnational families.

The purpose of this study was to survey actual condition of a municipal Healthy family Support Center(HFSC) for establishing. 46 subjects were surveyed with a questionnaire about PR and facilities of Healthy Family Support Center. For this study, not only a survey was collected 46 subjects bust also a spot inspection was executed to 8 municipal Healthy Family Support Centers. This study revealed following results: first, the mass media(TV, news paper), internet home page, pamphlet are effective medium. Management of PR activities in the HFSC is consider as one of the main factor to decide development and survival in social community. Therefore HFSC should search fur various method and system of PR. Secondly, the size and facilities of HFSC should be designed according to the specific characteristics of HFSC equipped with office-room, conference room, lecture hall, general/special counseling room, group classroom. Results from this study might be contributed to operate a municipal Healthy Family Support Center in the near future.

This purpose of research is to offer basic materials for analyzing organizational structure in an effort to develop a standardized model that considers regional characteristics with the ultimate goal being the establishment of a National Health and Family Support Center. Research methods include aliterature survey data. The research target is 94 centers run by the National Health Family Support Center training. These are assessed in terms of their regional characteristics. The objectives of this paper are as follows: 1. To look at the present National Healthy Family Support Center's yearly conditions investigate the regional characteristics. 2. To analyze the National Healthy Family Support Center's annual organizational managements and operations characteristics. 3. To analyze the National Healthy Family Support Center's regional characteristics (Urban-only-, Urban-Rural Integration, Rural-only-) in terms of its organizational management and operations. First, at the national, county, and ward levels, Health and Family Support Center can have family intervention purpose. Regional Center should be operated to keep pace with custom of different regions. Standardization can also be beneficial, including considerations such as agricultural needs and a type center. Effective center operations should also ensured. Second, standardized development model I had to insert this here because you mention one in the following paragraph. Original did not make sense. The purpose of this study was to investigate social workers' personal experiences providing social support to multi-cultural family in a multi-cultural family center. The data were collected through in-depth interviews with 14 social workers at the multi-cultural family center, and were analyzed using a phenomenological research method. The major findings were as follows : The social workers' personal experiences with and understanding of social support were classified as 4 categories : 'source of emotional support to the multi-cultural family', 'diverse and systematic educational support', 'excessive demands on material support', and 'daily life support and connection with community network'. The social workers recognized emotional and educational support as essential factors in providing social support to multi-cultural family. However, the social workers' perceptions of material support derived from negative personal experiences stemming from excessive demands and misunderstanding for material support. These results showed that social workers at the multi-cultural family center provided multi-cultural families with social support and that they interacted with community support system and multi-cultural families to increase their satisfaction.

Many leading companies provide family-friendly policies for a good work-family balance and to increase the productivity of their workers. The workers receive such benefits as family leaves or financial support for caring for their dependents. But the employees need much more support than these benefits to properly care for their families. This study examines the role of the companies in the expansion of family-friendly policies to the community. A few companies see community relations-such as investing in community programs-as linked to work-family policies. Accordingly, this study suggests the best practices and alternatives of many companies. This study also examines the role and perspectives of the Family-Friendly Support Center as an organization that can lead the community involvement of the business. This center can promote the company's collaboration and network of stakeholders.

The purpose of this study is to clarify the actual condition of the multicultural family support center in Gyeongnam area in order to provide more faithful services for the multicultural family members. As a research method, the social characteristics of multicultural families were examined through literature review, and the installation and operation standard of the support center was reviewed. In addition, 15 multicultural family support centers set up and operated in Gyeongnam area were identified and the characteristics of the plan composition of the detailed case facilities were identified. As a result, the characteristics of multicultural family support center area size, composition type, and operation type were revealed. Through analysis of the spatial areas of the regional support centers of cities and counties, it was revealed that 42.1% of the education area, 40.7% of the administrative area, 12.0% of the consultation area and 5.2% of the exchange area were analyzed. In addition, when the dedicated area of the multicultural family support center is a small-scale facility, it has been found that the space for administration, counseling, and education is secured.
