  • Purpose: This study examined the effect of wettability of gypsum materials and rubber impression material on the marginal fitness of zirconia copings. Methods: Three commercially available gypsum materials(Fugirock EP, Snow Rock, Tuff Rock) and three zirconia blocks(iJAM Emerald, LUXEN Smile block, ICE Zirkon transluzent) were studied. The zirconia copings were fabricated by using dental CAD/CAM system. Contact angles on the impression materials were measured with contact angle measuring device. Silicone replica method was used to measure the marginal fitness and cutting was performed on the bucco-lingual and mesio-distal sides. It were observed with a stereomicroscope at °ø40 magnification. The data were statistically analyzed with One-way ANOVA. Results: Mean values of contact angles were $58.3{\pm}0.7^{\circ}$ for Tuff Rock, $77.5{\pm}0.5^{\circ}$ for Fugirock EP and $87.8{\pm}0.5^{\circ}$ for Snow Rock and the difference between them was statistically significant(p<0.05). The smallest values of marginal fitness for the JF groups were $30.7{\pm}3.0{\mu}m$ for bucco-lingual direction, $29.3{\pm}3.0{\mu}m$ for mesio-distal direction. One-way ANOVA showed statistically significant difference between groups for marginal fitness(p<0.05). Conclusion: Tuff rock gypsum material had superior wettability to others. The mean marginal fitness of the Tuff rock gypsum material group were significantly better than other groups. Thus they can be also expected to show clinically satisfactory marginal fitness.

  • The purpose of this paper was to investigated the effect of the constituents of Facebook advertisement on ad fitness recognition and WOM intension. In addition, we confirmed the mediating effect of ad fitness recognition. For this purpose, data were collected for Facebook 371 users. The research method used factor analysis and covariance structure analysis. The results of this study were as follows: First, the advertising interest characteristics of Facebook ads had a significant effect on ad fitness and word-of-mouth intension. Second, personalized fit informational attributes of Facebook ads had a significant effect on ad fitness and WOM intension. Third, the perceived responsiveness had a significant effect on perceived fitness of advertisement and WOM intention. Fourth, perceived fitness recognition of Facebook advertisement had a significant effect on WOM intension. The results of this study provide consumers with information on what to consider when creating an identity advertisement and effective advertisement as Facebook advertisement.

  • The purpose of this study is to qualitatively analyze the perceptions of aesthetic values of working women taking ballet fitness classes and to find ways to properly establish ballet fitness classes according to the opinions of the study participants. Participants in the study were 9 working women taking ballet fitness classes at local educational institutions, and FGI (Focus Group Interview) was conducted, and the interview was conducted based on a semi-structured questionnaire. Subsequently, the categorization content was derived through expert review and peer review. As a result, first, the study participants expressed their dissatisfaction, hoping that the ballet fitness class helped improve their daily enjoyment and pain, and even watched ballet performance with interest. Second, the participants of the study were actively publicizing the benefits of ballet fitness classes to their families and nearby acquaintances, and hoped that this exercise would help improve the difficult image of ballet. Based on this study, ballet fitness classes were expected to be sufficiently established as a hobby exercise for working women.

  • Transporting a large table using multiple robotic agents requires at least two group behaviors of homing and herding which are to bo coordinated in a proper sequence. Existing GP methods for multi-agent learning are not practical enough to find an optimal solution in this domain. To evolve this kind of complex cooperative behavior we use a novel method called fitness switching. This method maintains a pool of basis fitness functions each of which corresponds to a primitive group behavior. The basis functions are then progressively combined into more complex fitness functions to co-evolve more complex behavior. The performance of the presented method is compared with that of two conventional methods. Experimental results show that coevolutionary fitness switching provides an effective mechanism for evolving complex emergent behavior which may not be solved by simple genetic programming.

  • To find out the factors affecting to the cardiorespiratory fitness of some workers in Taejon area, cardiorespiratory fitness indices, blood pressure(BP), total cholesterol level(TC), body mass indices(BMI) and life style data were collected from 169 blue collar workers and 106 white collar workers, from September to October 2000. 1. Cardiorespiratory fitness indices were increased statistically significantly by aging(p <0.05), but these was no statistically significantly difference between blue collar workers and white collar workers. 2. These were no significantly difference between types of workers by BMI, BP, blood total cholesterol level, regular exercise, alcohol drinking, smoking and psychosocial stress. 3. Age and BMI were selected affecting factors to the cardiorespiratory fitness indices in blue collar workers by multiple regression analysis, but no affecting factors selected the white collar workers.

  • In this paper, I was undertaken to identify factorial structure of physical fitness components for male high school Taekwondo players. In order to accomplish this purpose, the selected 8 physical fitness test were conducted to 50 male high school Taekwondo players. For the concretely, this study was conducted to physical fitness battery was grip strength, vertical jump, standing trunk flexion, sit-ups, closed eyes foot balance, 10m shuttle run, 50m run, and 1600m run. Factor analysis was applied for analyzing factorial structure of each physical fitness components.

  • A fitness facility in an apartment complex is not a simple sports facility. It has important roles in improving the residents' physical and mental health, and in forming a sense of community. This study analyzed the number of users in the fitness facility of the apartment complex, which is a significant criterion in determining the dimension. A comparative analysis between the past and the present function and dimension was performed in finding out the optimal solutions. In conclusion, the number of users in the fitness facility is influenced not by the number of households in the complex but by the facility's size and creating a desired environment. The users' favorite sports equipments were figured out to meet those needs. Moreover, comparing the facilities' size, user satisfaction, area per person, an optimal dimension for the facility, and rates of equipments were found out.

  • In this paper. we suggest a vector fitness strategy for obstacle avoidance of autonomous mobile robot with genetic algorithm. Ordinary genetic algorithms provide not such a viable solution for autonomous running in a variant environment. because of the difficulty in fitness evaluation in real time. We show that the suggested method is efficient for the problem of autonomous mobile robot. Its control function evolves to adapt the varying environment. The experiment is done using the real mobile robot 'Khepera' with which we use a tournament genetic algorithm model with the Vectored Fitness Genetic Strategy.

  • Since the non-metric Multidimensional scaling (nMDS), a data visualization technique, provides with insights about engineering, economic, and scientific applications, it is widely used for analyzing large non-metric multidimensional data sets. The nMDS requires a fitness function to measure fit of the proximity data by the distances among n objects. Most commonly used fitness functions are nonlinear and have a difficulty to find a good configuration. In this paper, we propose a new fitness function, an absolute value type, and show its advantages.

  • The aging is related to numerous changes in our body system which declines functional ability. The functional ability in advanced age can be evaluated by the 4 components of fitness (cardiorespiratory endurance, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility and body composition). The understanding and knowledge of changing 4 components of fitness and the role of exercise on the process of aging is of paramount importance. Despite exercise and physical activity have been shown to delay the process of aging, the exercise guidelines and recommendations for old adults are not well published. This review is to presents the age-related changes in each component of fitness and to present current guidelines and recommendations for exercise in older adults.
