The modified Hyers-Ulam-Rassias Stability Of the generalized form g(x+p) : $\phi$(x)g(x) for the Gamma functional equation shall be proved. As a consequence we obtain the stability theorems for the gamma functional equation.

Interior space of modern society has a request for non-functional considerations as well as a need for function. French sociologist Jean Baudrillard defined this phenomenon as a dialectical relationship between the functional system and the non-functional system in his book "The System of Objects". The main goal of interior design is the pursuit of non-functional aspects which can satisfy emotional needs of human being without ignoring functional side. This means that designer should exceed the limitation of the functional system and overcome it by his own idea and method. Under this recognition, this paper tried to understand how Shiro Kuramata and Takashi Sugimoto accomplished the overcoming successfully. Sugimoto breaks through mechanical monotony introducing the non-functional objects into the functional system. His objects have power and form of the nature. They also shows traces of manufacture and labor. They works as media transferring old life and values. Sugimoto sometimes adopts the non-functional system such as collection, so it reveals time of collecting and arrangement of various objects. In contrast to Sugimoto, Kuramata erased the form of functional object and turned over the everydayness of the functional system. Instead, aesthetical phenomena substitutes form. Having doubts about the geometrical order of functional system, he opened a discourse for its meaning and limitation. However they have something in common which works as a blueprint for establishing subject's discourse. This discourse is comprised of their own memories of scenes. These subjects' discourse institute worlds through their design works based on each methodology. From the Heideggerian point of view, the worlds offer a foundation which allows the establishment of art in interior design.

While many surfaces such as automobile outer panels, ship hulls and airfoils are characterized by their smooth, free-form shapes, a far larger class of functional surfaces are characterized by highly irregular, multi-featured shapes consisting of pockets, channels, ribs, etc. In constaract to the design of aesthetic, free-form surfaces, functional surface design can perhaps best be viewed as a process of assembling a collection of known component surfaces to form a single compound surface. In this paper, we presents a feature-based functional surface modeling method. A single feature involves a secondary surface, which we must join to a primary surface with a smooth transition between two boundary courves. Through recursive blending of a secondary surface with the primary surface, the mullti-featured surface is represented. After constructing a compound surface, we generate the Z-map for NC machining of the surface. Offsetting the Z-map using the inverse offsetting technique, we get CL tool paths with out gouging.

A new approach to the logical design of 4NF database shceme, which can be easily automated, is proposed. The main features of the approach are : introduction of a single attribute right hand side, extension of the concept of independent relations, semantic analysis, and adaoption of dependency matrix. The underlying viewpoints of functional relationships of the approach are different from Fagin's in that we distinguish functional and multivalued dependency in terms of cardinality. An algorithm for automatic generation of fourth normal form is presented and implemented.

In this paper, we obtain the general solution and the stability of the 2-dimensional vector variable quadratic functional equation f( x + y, z - w) + f(x - y, z + w) = 2f(x, z ) + 2f(y, ${\omega}$). The quadratic form f( x, y) = $ax^2$ + $by^2$ without cross product terms is a solution of the above functional equation.

Purpose: This study was conducted to explore the mediating effect of nutritional status on the relationship between symptom experience and functional status of patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). Methods: A total of 141 COPD patients visiting D hospital and I hospital in B city were enrolled in this study. Data were collected from January 2017 to July 2017. Outcome variables were measured by Mini Nutritional Assessment Short-Form (MNA-SF) for nutritional status, The Memorial Symptom Assessment Scale (MSAS) for symptom experience, and The Functional Performance Inventory Short Form (FPI-SF) for functional status. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation, and path analysis using SPSS/WIN 21.0 and AMOS 25. Results: There was a significant negative correlation between symptom experience and nutritional status (r=-.61, p<.001), a significant negative correlation between symptom experience and functional status (r=-.40, p<.001), and significant positive correlation between nutritional status and functional status (r=.47, p<.001). Symptom experience had indirect effects on functional status through nutritional status. Conclusion: For enhancing functional status in COPD patients, it is necessary to develop nursing intervention programs to enhance symptom management as well as nutritional status.

The intertidal benthic macroalgal floras of 19 uninhabited islands were investigated in the Goheung area, South Sea, Korea, in June 2008. Seaweed community structures on the rocky shores of four (Naemaemuldo, Ceoldo, Araedombaeseom, and Jinjioedo) of the 19 islands were also examined. Eighty macroalgal species were identified, including 13 green, 19 brown, and 48 red algae. The maximum number of species was found at Naemaemuldo, with 35 species, and the minimum was at Aredombaeseom, with 21 species. Seaweed biomass ranged from 21.39-76.22 g dry wt/$m^2$, with a maximum at Naemaemuldo, and minimum at Jinjioedo. Sargassum thunbergii was a representative species, distributed widely in the intertidal zone of the four islands. Subdominant seaweeds were Corallina pilulifera and Ulva pertusa at Naemaemuldo and Jinjioedo, respectively. Also, Ishige okamurae was dominant at Ceoldo and Araedombaeseom. Six functional seaweed forms were found at each study site, except for Araedombaeseom, which had four functional groups. On the rocky shores of the four sites, a coarsely-branched form was the most dominant functional group ranging from 44.44-61.90% in species number and 72.42-91. 09% in biomass. In conclusion, among the four study sites, the shore of Naemaemuldo Island had the best ecological status, with the highest number of species, and greatest biomass (mainly brown and red algae) and functional form diversity of seaweeds. Furthermore, on the rocky shore of Naemaemuldo, coarsely branched- and joint calcareous-form seaweeds, which grow in clean and undisturbed environmental conditions, were the representative functional forms.

Monodispersed carbon nanospheres (CNSs) were fabricated by a novel method and their structural properties were investigated. CNSs were prepared by the pyrolysis of nanospherical polystyrenes (PS). With the coating of $SiO_2$ shell, PS particles were effectively separated during pyrolysis process which resulted to CNSs with an average diameter of 40 nm. Moreover, CNSs could be crosslinked with each other through the bondings between the functional groups on their surfaces. Morphology of the fabricated carbon spheres and their crosslinked form were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR).

The functional equation related to a distance measure f(pr, qs) + f(ps, qr) = M(r, s)f(p, q) + M(p, q)f(r, s) can be generalized a sum form functional equation as follows $${\frac{1}{n}}{\sum\limits_{i=0}^{n-1}}f(P{\cdot}{\sigma}_i(Q))=M(Q)f(P)+M(P)f(Q)$$ where f, g is information measures, P and Q are the set of n-array discrete measure, and σ_i is a permutation for each i = 0, 1, ⋯, n-1. In this paper, we obtain the hyperstability of the above type functional equation.

Brand Pricing is the most important issue for the brand manager in the dynamic market. in the typical dynamic pricing model, a linear function has been used based on the assumption that the non-Price Influences and the price influences were independent. However, to incorporate the characteristics of the dynamic market, it is natural to consider the multiplicative relationship. We are going to try the multiplicative linkage between the non-price Influences and the price influences and suggest a new dynamic pricing model with e multiplicative functional form. An empirical study of 19 brands in the Korean cigarette market shows the feasibility of the suggested model.
