This study reviews the revisions and updates to the Release 3.5 version of the TL 9000 Measurements Handbook. This paper introduces the new organization of QuEST Forum Work Groups(WGs) and how to apply TL 9000 standards in software product lifecycle.

In this study, 24 high-strength concrete dapped-end beams were tested to study the effects of the amount of main dapped-end reinforcement, the nominal shear span-to-depth ratio, and the concrete strength on the shear strength of dapped-end beams. Test results indicate that the shear strength of dapped ends increases with the increase in the amount of main dapped-end reinforcement and the concrete strength. The shear strength of dapped-end beam increases with the decrease of nominal shear span-to-depth ratio. A simplified method for determining the shear strength of reinforced concrete dapped ends is also proposed in this paper. The shear strengths predicted by the proposed method and the approach of PCI Design Handbook are compared with test results. The comparison shows that the proposed method can more accurately predict the shear strength of reinforced concrete dapped-end beams than the approach of PCI Design Handbook.

The Pyro project, one of the large national R&D project to construct Korea Advanced Pyroprocessing Facility (KAPF), which has many goals such as development of pyro technology and process equipment, design of equipment and facility, construction, and test operation, is now under research and development. To reduce uncertainty and risk of such complex project, the technical management processes in systems engineering standards and NASA handbook were reviewed, and then the ten common technical management processes were selected for the large national R&D project to meet its goal successfully. And the essential technical management processes were finally suggested for Pyro project in consideration of current situation of the project.

Recently, the level of science and technology in our country has reached the level of the advanced countries. However, the level of standards/specifications was insufficient for support. In this study, after a review of the international atmosphere on defense specifications/standards and an investigation of the domestic present situation, three different perspectives of improvement scheme for the defense specifications/standard system are presented. First, in the defense standard classification system perspective, specifications, standards and handbook were defined based on their characteristic and properties. Second, in the perspective concerning the establishment procedure of defense standards/specifications, the bottom-up approach was suggested. Finally, in the perspective of the 'defense standards/specifications instructions', a reinforced drawing number system and other factors to overcome the current limitations are provided.

The purpose of study was to introduce the method of systemic reviews and the meta-analysis as the statistical method of the systemic reviews. The resource of study was mainly the Cocharane Handbook for Systematic Reviews of Interventions. The first and most important decision in preparing a review is to determine its focus by asking clearly framed questions. Then searching for databases, quality assessment of the studies, collecting data, analysing and presenting results, and interpreting results fellow. The necessity and principle of meta-analysis were described and the methods of meta-analysis by the data types were summarised.

Through a floral study and resource investigation of Korean mushrooms during the year 1993, five species of Agaricales, Pseudoclitocybe cyathiformis (Bull.: Fr.) Sing.; Pholiota brunnescens A.H. Smith & K. Hesler; Coprinus angulatus Peck; Rhodophyllus bisporus Hongo; Suillus viscidipes Hongo and one form of Gasteromycetes, Lysurus mokusin (L.: Pers.) Fr.f. sinensis (Lloyd) Kobayashi, were found and described new to Korean flora. Pseudoclitocybe is described as an unrecorded genus to Korea. The color names cited are from Kornerup & Wanscher's Methuen Handbook of Colour (1984). All the specimens are deposited in the RDAGB's and ASIK's herbarium.

Currently, developed technologies for semantic web services discovery are based on ontologies. These ontologies are DAML-S(DARPA Agent Markup Language for Services) and Process Handbook Project of MIT. These technologies have some problems for intelligent web services discovery. So, in this paper we analyzed those ontologies and proposed TM-S, Topic Maps for Services. TM-S is the presentation model for semantic web services. And TM-S includes benefits and complements weaknesses of those ontologies. And we proposed TMS-QL, TM-S Query Language. TMS-QL is query language for intelligent web services discovery. At last, we designed and implemented intelligent web service discovery system that deals TM-S ontology and TMS-QL

Since the nuclear data forms a vital component in reactor physics computations, the nuclear community needs processing codes as tools for translating the Evaluated Nuclear Data Files (ENDF) to simulate nuclear-related problems such as an ACE format that is used for MCNP. Errors, inaccuracies or discrepancies in library processing may lead to a calculation that disagrees with the experimentally measured benchmark. This paper provides an overview of the processing and preparation of ENDF/B-VIII.0 incident neutron data with NECP-Atlas and NJOY codes for implementation in the MCNP code. The resulting libraries are statistically inter-compared and tested by conducting benchmark calculations, as the mutualcomparison is a source of strong feedback for further improvements in processing procedures. The database of the benchmark experiments is based on a selection taken from the International Handbook of Evaluated Criticality Safety Benchmark Experiments (ICSBEP handbook) and those proposed by Russell D. Mosteller. In general, there is quite good agreement between the NECP-Atlas1.2 and NJOY21^(1.0.0.json) results with no substantial differences, if the correct input parameters are used.

This study aims to analyze protocol & security systems of international conferences such as 2010 Seoul G20 Summit, 2012 Seoul Nuclear Security Summit and to propose Improvement strategies. The results derived from this study are as follows. First, it is necessary to support the establishment of international conference laws. We should select a major agency for 'International Conference Industry Promotion Act', coordinate of the system of international conference laws, resolve potential conflicts, maintain consistent on support organization of international conferences. Second, it is necessary to coordination among different ministries that control security relevant laws. We should solve clashes possibility between a few laws on security system which is closely related to protocol & security of international conference. Third, it is necessary to produce a joint protocol handbook of government for establishing protocol & security system of international conferences. We should try to confirm protocol & security system of international conferences through publishing a joint protocol handbook of government from their own protocol handbook of the executive, the legislature, etc. Forth, it is necessary to build and strengthen expertise of PCOs(professional convention organizers). We should find and assist several PCOs for achieving government policy that develop industrial foundation on international convention and train human resources on international convention expected next generation of promising industries.

Antarctic Environmental Monitoring Handbook' was published by COMNAP/SCAR in 2000. The standardized method described in this handbook is recommended for monitoring of antarctic environment. High pressure bomb technique in this guide was used to decompose soil samples. In compliance with this guide book, high pressure bomb technique was applied to decompose the antarctic soil sampled at the King Sejong Station. An Isotope Dilution-Inductively Coupled Plasma-Mass Spectrometry (ID-ICP-MS) was applied to determine mass concentrations of Pb, Cu and Zn in the soil. The accuracy in this method was verified by the analysis of certified reference materials (CRM) of NIST 2702 (marine sediment). The analytical results agreed with certified value within the range from 99.5~100.8%. Matrix separation was necessitated for the determination of Cu and Zn by Chelex 100 ion exchange resin. As a result, the average mass concentrations of Pb, Cu and Zn which are suspected to be caused by anthropogenic pollution were 332.9 mg/kg, 95.6 mg/kg and 115.3 mg/kg, respectively. Those for the metals sampled in the soils of the remote regions from the station were 28.1 mg/kg, 101.8 mg/kg and 115.6 mg/kg, respectively.
