  • The purposes of this study were to investigate the effects of professional soldiers' family healthiness on the organizational effectiveness of the military and test for any differences in the structural modeling path caused by the mediating effects of empowerment depending on whether they lived with their families or not. Data were collected with a self-administered survey distributed to 480 professional soldiers after the approval of the Ministry of National Defense. The data collected were then analyzed using descriptive statistics, structural equation modeling, and multi-group analysis. The analysis results show that the family healthiness of all of the professional soldiers had direct or indirect effects on their organizational effectiveness via empowerment and that family healthiness was a variable with a very large explanatory power for organizational effectiveness. Both family healthiness and empowerment had effects on the organizational effectiveness of the solders that were living with their families and those who lived separately from their families. The levels of family healthiness, empowerment, and organizational effectiveness were all high among the professional soldiers that were living with their families and all low among those who were not. Increasing the family healthiness and empowerment was found to enhance the organizational effectiveness in all of the models, and a higher organizational effectiveness would be expected from professional soldiers living with their families. These findings led to a proposal that various plans should be prepared to help professional soldiers live with their families and provide them with family welfare support.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the healthy degree of the rural families and the variables that affect it, as well as the differences between husband and wife perceptions on the healthiness of rural families. One hundred and ninety six couples (three hundred and ninety two individuals) were surveyed for this study The following findings were obtained from the analysis of the data. First, the degree of the healthiness of rural families was quantified as about 71 points out of 100 possible maximum points. Second, family type ($\beta$=.17), the wife's self-esteem ($\beta$ =.22), the husband's self-esteem ($\beta$ =.17), wife's marital satisfaction ($\beta$ =.32), and husband's marital satisfaction ($\beta$=.15) were the only variables that significantly affected the healthiness of rural families. Third, social-psychological variables (for example, self-esteem and marital satisfaction of the couple) had more explanatory power than material and farming-related variables. From the results of this study, it is suggested that in order to enhance the healthiness of rural families, systematic educational programs that can improve social-psychological interactions among family members should be developed.

Five factors which influence consumer's restaurant choice were emerged. They were named as follow: Factor 1:preference and purpose, Factor 2:taste, Factor 3:snack, Factor 4:convenience, Factor 5:concern about obesity. Most of respondents were satisfied with the taste and the healthiness of foods of restaurants in Jin-Ju. The younger and the female groups had more positive attitudes on eating out andi willing to use it frequently. Fullnes, healthiness, and price were important criteria in choice and preference of a restaurant. However, they didn't much consider the food safety. • Upon investigating the dental health of teeth and gum, and the cleanliness of the oral cavity of female college students in the early 20's, it was reported to be that the number of cariogenic bacteria was heavily related to the acidity of saliva or ammonia. Also, cariogenic bacteria and ammonia was found out to be related with proteins (p<0.01), and ammonia, the synthetic product of cariogenic bacteria was heavily related to blood and white blood cells (p<0.01). To conclude, the healthiness of teeth was related to the acidity of saliva and ammonia, the healthiness of gum was related to blood, proteins and white blood cells while the oral hygiene was most likely to be related to ammonia. This result matched to the seven oral disease cause analyses of the saliva analysis apparatus (Sill-Ha ST-4910), which implied further utilization of this data to clinical implications. However, this study is limited to young personnel who does not have any chronic or general diseases; therefore further study is required to generalize this study.

  • UCC(User Created Content) has brought about much change in the way Internet users produce, publish, and share digital content. That means that Internet users are participating in the UCC service much mure voluntarily, and interacting each other mure proactively to meet their social-psychological needs such as self-expression, social presence and so on. Also, there has been the sharp increase in variety and volume of digital content on Internet. The reasons why are that UCC enables Internet users to produce and publish their own content with much low cost, and lowers the entrance barriers to the digital content market. Like this, UCC causes the unbundling of the value chain of digital content, resulting in the high uncertainty and complexity, and then leading to the low healthiness of UCC value chain in terms of productivity, robustness, niche creation, and safety. Thus, this paper is to identify the status and problems of UCC value chain and present the way how to enhance the healthiness of UCC value chain more comprehensively and systematically.
