The purpose of this study is to define the roles of the central, district, and municipal Healthy Family Support Centers in order to establish their individual identities. Two hundred twenty-five 225 subjects were surveyed with a questionnaire about the role of each Healthy Family Support Center. The subjects of this study were professors, public officials and staff who were in charged of the Healthy Family Support Centers. This study revealed the following results. First, the central Healthy Family Support Center should playa supportive role to develop and propagate a variety of programs which can be used for the clients in the district and municipal Healthy Family Support Centers. Second, roles of the district Healthy Family Support Center are highly recognized not only for their supportive role in activating municipal Healthy Family Centers but also for their publicity role in them. Finally, the most necessary role of the municipal Healthy Family Support Center is to manage family counseling and family education. In order to accomplish the roles of each Healthy Family Support Center, the mutual relationship among central, district, and municipal Healthy Family Support Centers should be horizontal. Moreover, district Healthy Family Support Centers should be promptly established in order to enable for the central Center to play its roles properly.

The purpose of this study was to survey actual condition of a municipal Healthy family Support Center(HFSC) for establishing. 46 subjects were surveyed with a questionnaire about PR and facilities of Healthy Family Support Center. For this study, not only a survey was collected 46 subjects bust also a spot inspection was executed to 8 municipal Healthy Family Support Centers. This study revealed following results: first, the mass media(TV, news paper), internet home page, pamphlet are effective medium. Management of PR activities in the HFSC is consider as one of the main factor to decide development and survival in social community. Therefore HFSC should search fur various method and system of PR. Secondly, the size and facilities of HFSC should be designed according to the specific characteristics of HFSC equipped with office-room, conference room, lecture hall, general/special counseling room, group classroom. Results from this study might be contributed to operate a municipal Healthy Family Support Center in the near future.

This study has investigated the perception of adults in relation to healthy family to help identify import issues. Gathered information were then incorporated to education programs for the Healthy Family Support Center. For this purpose, a survey was conducted in four cities in Kyungnam during March 2007. The responses of 213subjects have been used for the final analysis. The results of this analysis lead to three major findings. Firstly, the surveyed adults regarded positive interaction and domestic family functions as essential activities in healthy families. Secondly, the participants exhibited a very low knowledge-level of the 'Healthy Family Act', and the Healthy Family Support Center. Finally, the respondents said that they are more likely to specifically participate in educational program and counseling program if it helps them prevent family programs.

This research evaluated the present condition of the family voluntary service group and healthy family campaign, which was being carried out as one of the healthy family culture businesses of the Healthy Family-Support Center. Furthermore, it suggests ways to improve these business activities. Research centered on the analysis of business documents created between December 2006 and November 2007. The results were as follows. First, the family voluntary service group and the healthy family campaign business in the Center must be able to have specificity or individuality. Second, the Center must manage the scale, frequency, and contents of the businesses systematically. Third, the businesses must concern themselves with family life in general, make better use of the advisory committee or steering committee, concern variety of business performing system.

This paper examines the traits and directions of family policy represented in the Basic Code of Healthy Families. Strategies for the development of family policy for family professionals and policy makers to provide integrated services for families and the implications of such strategies are also discussed. A family-friendly and a life course perspective are adopted in order to strengthen and expand family policies and promote the establishment of a healthy families' support center. The perspectives and issues of the Basic Code of Healthy Families are reviewed in the light of a paradigm shift in family policy in Korea, with suggestions for adoption of the family policy also addressed.

"The Healthy Family Act" was established in 2004. It prevents problems of the family and increases the healthy characteristic of general family. According to this Act, Healthy Family Support Centers appeared to a new part of family welfare institution. This study is to search Programs and PR strategy of Healthy Family Support Center. The results of this study were as follows. First, Education program ranked highest in selecting important programs operated by the healthy family support center. Among education programs, they were the education of husband and wife relationships and the parents education that ranked on top. Second, The government further strengthen publicity relation(PR) about the HFSC. A deficiency of budget and manpower problems were major obstacles for PR activities. TV, news paper and magazine are useful medium. Management of PR activities in the HFSC is consider as one of the main factor to decide development and survival in social community.

The purpose of this article was to be offered data for the efficient management of healthy family support center as the deduction of the standard job of healthy family supporter. The process of this study take the major steps as subject selection based on career, investigation about range and contens of healthy family support work and deduction and examination job areas, duty and task. Consequently, the job areas of healthy family supporter are generalization, counseling, education, culture, administrative affairs, taking care of children and taking care of children for family living with a handicapped child. The standards of job analysis are frequency, importance and number of human power. The result and procedure of this article provides the main data and idea for the development of a tool of measurement, ajob analysis and information of the specialty and role of healthy family supporter.

Family instability has a negative effect on not only an individual household but also the society. The government continues to operate family support centers as a countermeasure to family instability issues. A healthy and multicultural family support center is considered an effective support system that extends from a family unit to the local community. In this study, the satisfaction and demand levels of each center, located in Seoul and Incheon, were examined with respect to items such as operation contents, physical space, and organizational structure. The results showed that various efforts for creating a family-friendly community were implemented in healthy family support centers and multicultural family support centers. It was found that the center organizers and operators focused more on software and programs than on the physical environment. There was mostly a shortage of physical and environmental space. This space shortage limited the planned and ongoing activities in terms of the residents' self-directed participation and space formation for a family-friendly educational culture. Therefore, it was necessary to set up the space-related criteria for each center in order to solve this environmental issue. We identified the baseline data of the criteria for a center's physical and spatial design and size. In particular, it was suggested that a more strategic physical and spatial design is needed to achieve an integral and effective operation for the connection of the family with the local society.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the healthy family education, healthy family counseling, a healthy family culture, and healthy families integrated programs for single parent families in family support centers, The data collected came from 59 family support centers located in Seoul and Kyunggi-Do, Korea. Subjects included both single parents and their children. The children were of elementary school age. The types of programs were education, counseling, culture, and integrated program. Education programs were process separately for the parents and for the children. Counseling programs were mostly group-type program that aimed at improving the parent-children relationship. The contents included sections on anger management, reducing stress, enriching self-esteem. The culture programs involved experiences, camps that included cooking, watching movies, similar activities. Integrated programs involved respite support, rearing support, mentor-mentee partnerships, and the formation of self-help groups.

This study focused on the Healthy Family Support Center and Multicultural Family Support Center, which supervise the main field of family resource management with institutional household factors. Our research objective was to present datas demonstrating an improvement in the organizational effectiveness of the Multicultural Family Support Center. The burn out average of employees working for the non-profit organization was 2.45, emotional burnout was 2.87, achievement was 2.43, and dehumanization was 2.06. The effectiveness average of the nonprofit organization was 3.56, profitability was 3.65, job satisfaction was 3.58, and organizational commitment was 3.45. The generic characters that caused burnout were age, information, and professionalism in research. The generic characters and burnout that affected the organizational effectiveness included a lack of accomplishment, and emotional exhaustion, and depersonalization, lack of information and professionalism, lack of external resources in that order. The purpose of this research was to determine the effects of burnout in order to prevent job changes and to provide basic data for the improvement of organizational effectiveness.
