In this paper, a case study is introduced on the development of an inventory management system for the textile industry. For the low-cost and high-efficient production, a systematic management is needed from make-to-order to delivery. In this paper, an integrated inventory management system for the D company is developed to manage the whole information related with make-to-order, production, delivery, and inventory, and so forth.

With a population of around 237,424,363 in 33 provinces, Indonesia is one developing countries that needs an excellent School Management Information System (SMIS) to accomplish its educational mission. To reach the goal, it is necessary to know the rules, culture of school and related data prior to building the SMIS. This study is focused on the Indonesian National Education Standards. It is has nine standards that are described by the Regulation of Education Ministry. To manage the schools' organization, this paper aims to develop a SMIS based on the Indonesian National Education Standards by using ARIS(Architecture of Integrated Information System) to help schools run efficiently. The new system will be built using UML(Unified Modeling Language), this new system conforms to the education rules of the government. Finally, the conclusion and future research are described.

Recently, as evaluation of information security (IS) management become more diverse and complicated, the contents and procedure of the evidence to prepare for actual assessment are rapidly increasing. As a result, the actual assessment is a burden for both evaluation agencies and institutions receiving assessments. However, most of them reflect the evaluation system used by foreign government agencies, standard organizations, and commercial companies. It is necessary to consider the evaluation system suitable for the domestic environment instead of reflecting the overseas evaluation system as it is. The purpose of this study is as follows. First, we will present the problems of the existing information security assessment system and the improvement direction of the information security assessment system through analysis of existing information security assessment system. Second, it analyzes the technical guidance for information security testing and assessment and the evaluation of information security management in the Special Publication 800-115 'Technical Guide to Information Security Testing and Assessment' of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Third, we will build a framework to implement the evidence collection system and present a system implementation method for the '6. Information System Security' of 'information security management actual condition evaluation index'. The implications of the framework development through this study are as follows. It can be expected that the security status of the enterprises will be improved by constructing the evidence collection system that can collect the collected evidence from the existing situation assessment. In addition, it is possible to systematically assess the actual status of information security through the establishment of the evidence collection system and to improve the efficiency of the evaluation. Therefore, the management system for evaluating the actual situation can reduce the work burden and improve the efficiency of evaluation.

Many organizations have developed their own traditional quality information systems. But, they think of it as one of the functional information systems not as a company-wide decision support information systems. A study on traditional quality information systems(QIS) has been conducted and a new conceptual framework of quality information system is proposed in this paper. In order to support enterprise wide total quality management aggressively, a new conceptual framework, named quality management support information system(QMSIS) is developed and proposed. This framework is based upon Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award(MBNQA) model integrates management information system approach and traditional quality information system concept. In this model, organizational performance and process performance can be monitored to support managers , decision making about organizational quality management activities.

This study conducted to identify the impact of organizational factors on the characteristics of category management system, market orientation and collaboration orientation, in domestic retail industry, and also to identify the relationship between organizational factors and category management system's characteristics varies depending on the business type, retailer and supplier. To accomplish these research purposes, the study performed statistical analyses using a total of 94 samples. The results of the study can be summarized as follows. First, the organizational factors that affect market orientation of the category management system were found to be information technology infrastructure and organizational management system, and the organizational factors that affect collaborative orientation of the category management system were found to be partnerships and organizational management systems. Second, the relationship between market orientation and collaborative orientation of the category management system does not differ by the business type.

Although the role of information system has been rapidly increasing in modern management, there have been few researches on the quality assurance in information system. This paper suggests how to apply quality function deployment(QFD) to information system development in order to build up user-centered quality assurance system. The main focus of the paper is how to design the linkages between management strategy, information systems, and the users using quality function deployment.

It is the present situation that the relevant data with the compensation and payment is filed and managed in the form of document or Excell. In case of the large volume dam construction, the management of the data about the sinking areas is conducted inefficiently in view of time management and economy through using the administrative manpower and data formating manpower. There is also problem about where and how to keep the data owing to the enormous data. As a result of the raised questions, through constructing the system which is linked with the location information and property information which is relevant to the compensation to increase the applying value of the information about the compensation and apply document management system to the geographic information system, the management system through computerizing for searching the uncompensated areas in appropriate areas and compensation information in the compensated areas is projected. Through constructing geographic information system, it is expected to create various information effects, using the function of the necessary area search for the boundary survey, actual condition survey, uncompensated area search, and re-compensated area search.

This study presents the design of integrated safety, quality, and environmental information system based on the internet environment. Quality management system, environmental management system, and safety management system are adapted in many manufacturing and service organization respectively but those system does not work effectively. Especially safety management system and environmental management system are very similar with format and contents. Therefore, Those system must be integrated to increase effiency.

The information generated in large-scale and complex construction projects are transferred continuously and transformed into project products on the long span life cycle. Therefore, information flow management is related with the success of project directly. However, certain characteristics of large-scale and complex construction projects make the solving the problem more difficultly. Although several information retrieval systems support the information management system, it is not suitable to grasp information flows. Hence, we developed an information retrieval system specialized with the information flow based on a preceding research. The system consists of a relation-based database and the process information transferring relation inference application module. The system enables project managers to manage the entire project process more efficiently and each project member to work their own task being served the information flow retrieval results.
