Objective This study aims to understand the actual utilization of the oriental rehabilitation medicine center of the initial interdisciplinary medical care at the National Rehabilitation Center and to arrange proper development plans for more effective interdisciplinary medical services for future activation of interdisciplinary medical care. Method: The interdisciplinary patient status, composition of patient care, and major disease-related status were studied and analyzed for oriental rehabilitation medication relating to interdisciplinary medical care at the National Rehabilitation Center. Furthermore, the interdisciplinary status and its operating conditions were evaluated to devise a development plan for the National Rehabilitation Center. Results: As a result of the analysis of oriental rehabilitation medical care diagnosing status utilization at the National Rehabilitation Center regarding interdisciplinary medical care, the ratio of the number of those receiving interdisciplinary oriental rehabilitation medical care was less than half of the total receiving interdisciplinary care. As the major disease status from the patients of interdisciplinary care, stroke patients covered the large majority, and musculoskeletal pain patients covered the majority of outpatients. The establishment of additional oriental medication departments and assigning of interdisciplinary coordinators were presented as the goals of a development plan for the manpower and structural side of interdisciplinary medical care at the National Rehabilitation Center. On the institutional and systematic side, improvement in the interdisciplinary hierarchy and interdisciplinary model development based on the number of patients per disease was proposed. In addition, operation on ward bedding and construction of interdisciplinary EMR medical care is necessary on the medical and administration service side. Conclusion: To understand the actual utilization and to arrange development plans aimed at constructing a safe and effective interdisciplinary hierarchy for interdisciplinary medical care at the National Rehabilitation Center, patient-centered care needs to be implemented.

The purpose of this study was to pave the way to improve the quality of historical clothing and textiles and to search for the advisable direction of future studies by examining and analyzing the interdisciplinary approach of historical clothing and textiles related articles published in The Korean Society of Costume. For this analysis, the data were included 124 historical clothing and textiles research articles published in The Korean Society of Costume from 1980 to 2001 March. The followings show the results of this study. 1. The five dominant interdisciplinary fields of historical clothing and textiles were Identified : anthropology, art history, pop music, archaeology, sociology 2. The interdisciplinary research has been actively approached in historical clothing and textiles. 3. The most frequently approached field of the interdisciplinary researches of historical clothing and textiles was art history 4. The period that has most variety interdisciplinary fields was the present age. The studies of future historical clothing and textiles should be approached in more diverse areas of interdisciplinary way and time periods.

The purpose of this study was to figure out how interdisciplinary education is conducted in higher education organizations in terms of planning, implementation, outcome and evaluation. To achieve the purpose, professors involved in interdisciplinary programs were subject to questionnaire. The results indicated that informed interdisciplinary education was the most frequent type among four types of interdisciplinarity, which refers to borrowing elements from other disciplines. As well as, the informants lacked in experiences and epistemological basis for interdisciplinary education. Finally, support for interdisciplinary education from university and government was required by the practitioners.

As technology rapidly develops, the demand for manpower by new industries is increasing. In order to respond to the changing demands of the workforce, universities are actively introducing interdisciplinary majors, which is a program formed by two or more departments cooperating to develop new majors. Although the importance of the interdisciplinary major is increasing, universities have difficulties managing them due to non-flexible educational systems. The purpose of this study is to present an effective management direction for interdisciplinary majors based on the results of a survey on student satisfaction with interdisciplinary majors. Also, we analyzed the required level and possessed level of the IS practitioners' competencies, and developed specific educational directions for training IS talents. The results showed that there was a significant difference in satisfaction with the curriculum development and curriculum evaluation of existing subjects provided by existing departments and new subjects established of interdisciplinary majors, specifically the satisfaction of new subjects is higher than existing subjects. In the IS field, there was a high demand for education in the following areas, in order: information security, information technology strategy planning, information technology operation, information technology development, information technology management, information technology sales, and core competencies. Based on the results of the analysis, the satisfaction of students and the cultivation of the talents that the interdisciplinary major aims to develop can be improved.

Penicillium pimiteouiense was discovered in South Korea during an investigation of fungal communities in soil collected from the Gyeongsangbuk-do province. In this study, we performed molecular analysis of this fungal isolate using internal transcribed spacer rDNA, β-tubulin, and Calmodulin gene sequences. We also performed morphological analysis using five agar media, potato dextrose, oatmeal, malt extract, czapek yeast extract, and yeast extract sucrose. In this study, the molecular and morphological analyses of P. pimiteouiense with detailed descriptions and figures has been carried out.

This paper intends to clear up the conte31t of the interdisciplinary nature of individual researches. First, the interdisciplinary character of individual research was analyzed. Approximately 40% of individual research projects supported by Korea Science and Engineering Foundation has the interdisciplinary nature. Second, there are close connections among research fields in individual research projects. Every research field needs the inflow of knowledge from other fields and supports other research fields as well. The interrelation among various research fields indicates the importance of the balanced development in all science and engineering fields.

Purpose: The study was to analyze clinical outcomes and risk factors of for complications associated with the hip fracture surgery in the elderly before and after interdisciplinary treatment. Methods: A retrospective method was used to investigate the general and therapeutic characteristics, frequency of complications and clinical outcomes. The subjects of the study were 553 patients who underwent hip fracture surgery from January, 2009 to December, 2014. Results: The interdisciplinary group was older and less likely to walk independently even before the fracture than a usual care group. The incidence of complications was higher in the interdisciplinary group than the usual care group. The prevalence of complications in both groups was 66.5%. Multivariate logistic regression analysis showsed that the risk factors for complications of hip fracture surgery were as follows: advanced age, stroke, Parkinson disease, time interval from emergency room to operation, pre & post ambulatory status, American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) classification quality of postop intensive care unit (ICU) care and foley indwelling. Conclusion: This study has implications in that it recognized the necessity for interdisciplinary treatment and provided the basic base data for nursing intervention of the elderly patients who underwent hip fracture surgery.

Background and purpose: Seven Emotions consist of Joy(喜), Anger(怒), Anxiety(憂), Thought(思), Sorrow(悲), Fear(恐), Fright(驚). If Seven Emotion is excessive, its extreme mental stimulation causes physical illness. There was no study of the Seven Emotion Disease in detail for now. Therefore the purpose of this study is to pigeonhole the Seven Emotion Disease. Methods: We extract the sentences about the Seven Emotion and related words in Donguibogam. We classify the sententences into Joy(喜), Anger(怒), Anxiety(憂), Thought(思), Sorrow(悲), Fear(恐), Fright(驚), Frustration, Mental Exhaustion, Character. We analysis pattern of Symptoms Derived from Seven Emotions. Results and Conclusions Seven Emotion give rise to various type of symptom. In special Anger cause more illness than other Seven Emotion.
