  • This paper consider the condition monitoring technology of electrical machine in metro substation need for efficient and effective management and diagnosis. Developing management system using condition monitoring system is very competitive field, and still to a great extent seen as an unnecessary cost. There are several approaches to maintenance management in urban transit such as reliability-centered maintenance, availability-target maintenance and preventive maintenance to advanced approaches involving condition monitoring techniques. In this paper we give a brief introduction to condition-based management and diagnosis in metro substation and which management system satisfying various demanding in railway.

  • Construction industries is a labor intensive industries. According to Korea Productivity Center, most OECD members indicate high labor productivity more than Korea labor productivity in construction industries. First of all, for increasing labor productivity work efficiency and work condition should be managed by administrator in work site. Especially, work condition could be controlled by the management behaviors of administrator in work site such as work management type. This indicates that work management type could influence strongly work condition. But although that work management type could influence work condition is the characteristic of construction work is recongized to many people, the quantitative analysis on the relationship between work condition and work management type is not enough. Therefore the purpose of this study is to analyze the Influence of Work Management Type on Work Condition.

Use of Nondestructive Evaluation Methods in Bridge Management Systems (교량유지관리시스템에 있어서 비파괴 시험의 효율적 활용 방안)

  • A basis for the direct use of data from nondestructive evaluation methods in bridge management systems is presented. Bridge management systems use integer-valued condition ratings to recognize conditions of bridge elements, to model progression of deterioration, and to determine repair needs. Data from nondestructive evaluation methods can inform management systems on the extent of damage, on the initiation of deterioration processes, and on the exposure of bridge elements to aggressive agents. In addition, data obtained through nondestructive evaluation methods allow the formation of models of specific deterioration process. The use of these data in bridge management systems requires redefinition of condition ratings together with the creation of procedures for automated interpretation of data. By these action, nondestructive evaluation methods are directly used to assign condition ratings, and condition ratings are made into terse form of NDE data that are compatible with present day bridge management systems. This paper reports work in progress to strategic use of nondestructive evaluation methods in bridge management system.

  • The purposes of this research were to understand the realities of health management and to analyze the subjective, functional, psychological, and social health effects of the application of an exercise and education program to manage health on an elderly population residing in an agricultural community. The specific purposes of this research were: 1. to determine the subjective, functional, psychological health conditions, and performance level of instrumental activities of daily living of both the experimental and control groups before introducing a health management program, and then 2. to compare these with both the experimental and control groups' subjective, functional, psychological health condition and performance level of instrumental activities of daily living after applying the health management program. The health management program was introduced to the experimental group (50 people) but not to the control group (50 people). The health management program was composed of a health exercise program and a health education program. A comparative study of subjective health conditions was done to examine the effect of the health management program and the characteristics of health related variables before and after the program application.   • The purpose of this study is to understand the actual condition of Bogumjari Housing Complex residents' management consciousness and to provide suggestions on ways to induce residents' volunteer participation and practice of the apartment management. This study was performed on Bogumjari Housing Complex which was occupied in 2012 and the similar-sized apartment complex of the private condominium to compare and analyze their actual condition of management and consciousness of their residents. The results of the analysis could be summarized as follows: 1) In terms of management of operation, there is no distinct difference. In terms of maintenance management, Bogumjari Housing Complex has difficulty in maintenance because of lack of management manpower. Also, the apartment complex of the private condominium has higher spontaneous participation rate, which seems to be influenced by activation of various organizations. 2) In terms of the satisfaction of management process, Bogumjari Housing Complex has have higher satisfaction with promotion of the apartment Management Rules, but it has lower satisfaction with public hygiene, community facility maintenance and operation of program than that of apartment complex of the private condominium. 3) Bogumjari Housing Complex has higher maintenance and participation consciousness, drawing conclusion that Bogumjari Housing Complexs' residents have higher expectations for apartment, a keen interest and strong will.

A Study on the Facility Management Method through Actual Condition of Space Management - Based on the National University (공간관리 현황조사를 통한 대학시설관리방안에 관한 연구 - 국립대학의 사례를 중심으로)

  • To enhance the administrational efficiency and for university facility and space management to be public, this research suggests a competent and an objective evaluation system and index. The study will assist national and university finances to contribute towards advanced education. Furthermore, figure out the space management condition of national university by utilizing the evaluation system, and through that suggesting efficient special management method. According to the result of this study, evaluation system for university facility can be widely divided into seven categories; system preparation, members conference, propriety of space allocation, propriety of management system, space use ratio, time control of space use, imposition index of surplus use. Based on these subdivisions, the space management category contains 19 evaluation items and the marking system allows perfect score of 100 points. In result of examining space management condition using the evaluation system, space management was well enforced in research focused university group where as in education centered university group, it shows relatively low enforcement. It also illustrated that efforts of evaluation items were required in categories of imposition index of surplus use and special use ratio in order for efficient space management.

  • Policy base management system that can satisfy various user's request in distributed system environment recently and manage network resources efficiently is required. Described policy base management information consisted of ECA(Event-Condition-Action) rules so that efficient management of various communication network and consistent management policy may be available in this paper. Policy is consisted of Event, Condition and Actions to achieve when condition is satisfied. And we can present formality of dynamic function of management object as applying policy to ATM congestion control model been applying in real environment.

  • Owing to the variability of large-scaled wind power system, the development of wind farm management technologies and related compensation methods have been receiving attention. To provide an accurate and reliable output power, certain wind farm adopts a specified management system including a wind prediction model and grid expectation solutions for considering grid condition. Those technologies are focused on improving the reliability and stability issues of wind farms, which can affect not only nearby system devices but also a voltage condition of utility grid. Therefore, to adapt the develop management system, an expectation process about voltage condition of Point of Common Coupling should be integrated in operating system for responding system requirements in real-time basis. This paper introduce a grid imposing method for a real-time based wind farm management system. The expected power can be transferred to the power flow section and the required quantity about reactive power can be calculated through the proposed system. For the verification process, the gauss-seidel method is introduced in the Matlab/Simulink for analysing power flow condition. The entire simulation process was designed to interwork with PSCAD for verifying real power system condition.

The relationship between internal marketing and food safety, and the moderating effect of employment type in food service industry (외식업체 근로자의 내부마케팅과 식품 안전분위기의 관계 및 고용형태의 조절효과)

  • This paper reviewed the relationship between internal marketing(management support, education, pay system, internal communication, employment security) and food safety climate(prevention, superior attitude, work condition), and the moderating effect of employment type(permanent or temporary employees) in food service company. Based on the responses from 304 responses, the results of hierarchical multiple regression analysis showed that 4 factors(management support, education, internal communication, employment security) effect positively on food safety climate(prevention, superior attitude, work condition). The positive effect of internal communication on superior attitude and work condition appeared to be more positive in permanent employees than in temporary employees. And the results of t-test analysis showed that permanent employees perceived more positively all internal marketing factors(management support, education, pay system, internal communication, employment security) and food safety climate(precaution, superior attitude, work condition) than temporary employees.

  • Recent requirements in component management of building systems have focused on the requirement for improving methods and metric tools to support component condition assessment and appropriate decisions for infrastructure owned facilities. Although engineers and researchers have focused on developing methodologies for component assessment in recent years but there is not enough attention dedicate to facilities and components that have been constructed. This paper is a literature study of scientific papers within the topic of component condition index system (CCIS) in the period 1976 to 2009. Infrastructure component condition index had existed for some 40 years. The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview of CCIS to identify the suitable method for component condition assessment during its service life. This paper finds that the focus of CCIS, surveyed in several aspects during the 40 years that have been investigated, from technology to measurement and from assessment function to component maintenance as an integrated part of the infrastructure component management. This study offers help to researchers in understanding the selection of an appropriate method for component condition assessment in building and non-building systems.
