  • This study was attempted to investigate the mechanism of retention of sodium and water by naproxen which is a drug among nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs in dogs. Napoxen, when given intravenously in doses ranging from 30 mg to 100 mg/kg, elicited antidiuresis accompanied vath the decrease of osmolar clearance(Cosm) and amounts of sodium excreted in urine(E$_{Na}$), with the increase of sodium reabsorption rate in renal tubule(R$_{Na}$) and ratio of potassium against sodium (K/Na). Naproxen infused into a renal artery in doses ranging from 1.0mg to 3.0mg/kg/min produced both diuretic action in infused kidney and antidiuretic action in control kidney. Naproxen injected into carotid artery in doses ranging from 10.0 mg to 30.0 mg/kg exhibited antidiuretic action. Changes of renal function in the circumstances of above two antidiuresis were the same with aspect of intravenous naproxen. Antidiuretic action of naproxen injected into carotid artery was not affected by renal denervation, was blocked by pretreatment with i.v. arachidonic acid, prostaglandin precursor, or i.v. indomethacin, cyclooxygenase inhibitor. Naproxen injected into carotid artery abolished the diuretic action of i.v. spironolactone, aldosterone antagonist, and i.v. spironolactone blocked the antidiuretic action of naproxen given into carotid artery. The results suggest that naproxen produced antidiuresis, and sodium and water retention through the central system, the mechanism being related to the prostaglandin biosynthetic inhibition and aldostercfne like action.

  • The multi-action forging process is one of developing directions of forging technologies. In this study, the multi-action die is designed and developed by the screws mechanism and the forging simulation is conducted by using plasticine to investigate the optimum conditions for the design of the screws. The results show the design variables are optimum when the diameter is 30 mm and the screw angle is $60^{\circ}$ for the upper screw rod and the outer diameter is 60 mm and the screw angle is $23.4^{\circ}$ for the lower screw tube. It makes the relative velocity between the upper punch and the die to be two to one, which is the expected condition. The material flow of the plasticine forgings is uniform. Therefore, it is feasible to use the screw set as the multi-action mechanism for controlling the movement of the multi-action forging die set.

  • Idazoxan, $\alpha$$_2$-adrenergic antagonist, produced antidiuretic action by administration into the vein and diuretic action only in ipsilateral kidney by injection into a renal artery in dog. These studies were performed for investigation of mechanism on the renal action induced by idazoxan. Antiduretic action by idazoxan given into vein and diuretic action only in ipsilateral kidney by idazoxan injected into a renal artery were blocked entirely by renal denervation. Antidiuretic action of idazoxan given into the vein was weakened by UK 14,304, $\alpha$$_2$-adrenergic agonist, pretreated into the vein. Above results suggest that antidiuretic action of idazoxan given into the vein is caused by blocking of $\alpha$$_2$-adrenergic receptor, diuretic action only in ipsilateral kidney of idazoxan injected into a renal artery by blocking of $\alpha$$_2$-adrenergic receptor in the kidney.

  • Substance P[SP] has been known to be a peptide which may be plays a role as a neurotransmitter in central nervous system as well as peripheral autonomic nervous system. It has been reported that SP was widely distributed in the nerve of the tracheal smooth muscle and induced the muscle contraction. However, definite action mechanism of SP in the tracheal smooth muscle was not clear, yet. Thus, present experiment was performed to elucidate an effect of substance P and an action mechanism on contraction of the smooth muscle in rabbits. In order to find a neural mechanism to the effect of SP on the tracheal smooth muscle contraction, atropine sulfate, tetrodotoxin, propranol and phentolamine were administered at 10 min before the addition of SP. Otherwise,to find effect of SP antagonists on the action of SP, [D-Pro2, D-Try7,9]SP, [D-Arg1, D-Pro2, D-Trp7,9, Leu11]SP and [D-Pro4, D-Trp7,9]SP were administered as a same fashion. These following results were obtained. 1] SP induced contraction of the tracheal smooth muscle under resting condition and the contraction was increased dose-dependently. 2] Cholinergic blocker[atropine], neural blocker[tetrodotoxin] and adrenergic blocker[propranol and phentolamine] didn`t have an effect on the contractile response. 3] Three SP antagonists inhibited the contractile response. 4] Isoproterenol relaxed the contraction induced by SP. The above results suggested that SP induced contraction of the tracheal smooth muscle directly act to the smooth muscle in rabbits. The autonomic nervous system did not seem to participate in the SP action.

  • Recent years with the development of artificial intelligence and the success of the deep model, they have been deployed in all fields of computer vision. Action recognition, as an important branch of human perception and computer vision system research, has attracted more and more attention. Action recognition is a challenging task due to the special complexity of human movement, the same movement may exist between multiple individuals. The human action exists as a continuous image frame in the video, so action recognition requires more computational power than processing static images. And the simple use of the CNN network cannot achieve the desired results. Recently, the attention model has achieved good results in computer vision and natural language processing. In particular, for video action classification, after adding the attention model, it is more effective to focus on motion features and improve performance. It intuitively explains which part the model attends to when making a particular decision, which is very helpful in real applications. In this paper, we proposed a 3D dense convolutional network based on attention mechanism(ADD-Net), recognition of human motion behavior in the video.

  • This study was performed in order to certify the antidiuretic action and to investigate the mechanism of antidiuretic action of debrisoquin infused into a renal artery in dog. Debrisoquin, when infused into a renal artery, exhibited the antidiuretic action accompanied the reductions of glomerular filtration rate and renal plasma flow, and the decreased amounts of sodium and potassium excreted in urine, limited only to the infused side, while control kidney function remained unchanged at all. The antidiuretic action of debrisoquin infused into a renal artery was blocked by pretreament of prazosin, $\alpha$$_1$-adrenergic blocking agent, or reserpine, catecholamine depleting agent. These results suggest that debrisoquin infused into a renal artery elicits antidiuretic action through indirect stimulation of renal sympathetic nerves.

  • An action-selection-mechanism is proposed to deal with sequential behaviors, where associations between some of stimulus and behaviors will be learned by a shortest-path-finding-based reinforcement team ins technique. To be specific, we define behavioral motivation as a primitive node for action selection, and then sequentially construct a network with behavioral motivations. The vertical path of the network represents a behavioral sequence. Here, such a tree fur our proposed ASM can be newly generated and/or updated. whenever a new sequential behaviors is learned. To show the validity of our proposed ASM, some experimental results on a "pushing-box-into-a-goal task" of a mobile robot will be illustrated.

  • In the present paper, a behavioral model is proposed for study of the individual contributions to shear capacity in shear-critical reinforced concrete members. On the basis of the relationship between shear and bending moment (V = dM/dx) in beams subjected to combined shear and moment loads, the shear resistant mechanism is explicitly decoupled into the base components-beam action and arch action. Then the overall behavior of a beam is explained in terms of the combination of these two base components. The gross compatibility condition between the deformations associated with the two actions is formulated utilizing the truss idealization together with some approximations. From this compatibility condition, the ratio of the shear contribution by the tied arch action is determined. The performance of the model is examined by a comparison with the experimental data in literatures. The results show that the proposed model can explain beam shear behavior in consistent way with clear physical significance.

  • This studies were performed for investigation of mechanism on central antidiuretic action of L$_{G}$-Nitro-L-arginine (L-NOARG), nitic oxide systhase inhibitor, in dog. Antidiuretic action of L-NOARG infused into the carotid artery was not affected by renal denervation but inhibited by pretreatment with arginine, NO Precusor. Furthermore, L-NOARG inhibited the diuretic action of dopamine induced by hemodynamic development. Above results suggest that antidiuretic actions of L-NOARG mediated by endogenous substances not associated with renal nerve. Therefore, it is demonstrated that those endogenous substances might be associated with NO which mediate the diuretic action of dopamine.e.
