This paper presents an order releasing algorithm for an AMS. Order release policy determine order releasing time to shop floor so as to improve order management and shop performance. The proposed order releasing algorithm can cope with the dynamic environment of orders(e.g. change or cancel of order) flexibly and fastly, by processing individual order and exchanging the information(e.g. compeletion time or lateness of order, etc) with customer. And the objective of the order releasing algorithm is the observance of the due-date, therefore, it can provide customer with a reliability of order. Computer simulation is used to obtain the makespan of order which is the input data of the order releasing algorithm. The eight candidate part dispatching rules are simulated to selected an effective part dispatching rule for the computer simulation. By using the best effective part dispatching rule, the computer simulation is conducted to determine order releasing time.

This paper wants to suggest some issues on the acceptance of payment order in Electronic Funds Transfer of USA. The result can be summarized as fellows; First, originator's bank accepts a payment order when it executes the order. Secondly, beneficiary's bank accepts a payment order at the earliest of the following times: (1) when the bank pays the beneficiary as stated in Section 4A-405(a) or 4A-405(b), (2) when the bank notifies the beneficiary of receipt of the order or that the account of the beneficiary has been credited with respect to the order unless the notice indicates that the bank is rejecting the order or that funds with respect to the order may not be withdrawn or used until receipt of payment from of the order. (3) when the bank receives payment of the entire amount of the sender's order pursuant to Section 4A-403(a)(1) or 4A-403(a)(2). Lastly, the acceptance of a payment order cannot occur before the order is received by the receiving bank.

The work-order performs an important role in make-to-order production. The development of work-order system in this production is more complex than work-order system in planing production. To construct work-order system, load of directors for work-order must be decreased, and production management between scheduling of master plan and current workshop conditions must be considered. In this study, we grasped troubles in present work-order system and flows of information for work order. Using these results are made database schemas and data flow diagrams for effective development of work-order system. And then, for successful establishment of work-order system and actual use of directors, we considered systematic and easy user-interface. For a case study, development procedures of work-order system are presented for plant factory.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the correlation between the introduction order of 9 English morphemes in the English textbook used in the middle school and the learning order of the morphemes by the 7th graders learning English as a foreign language. The subjects are 139 students in two middle schools, who learn English with different textbooks. The introduction order of each morpheme in two textbooks was examined according to its quantity and frequency. Data on the real learning order were collected through the written SLOPE test, and each morpheme was ranked by its group score. The introduction order of each morpheme in the textbook and the real learning order were analyzed by Spearman rank order correlation. It was shown that the correlation between the two was very low. This means that those textbooks do not take the learning order of English morphemes into account. Also it was shown that in the earlier stage of learning English the introduction order of each morpheme in the textbook had much influence on its learning order, but in the later stage such influence reduced gradually. This means that the learning order of English morphemes approaches the natural order as time passes by.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the current brand of mail-order clothing, consumers' attitude over importance of brand and the effectiveness of brand when consumers purchase clothing by mail-order shopping. for this study, mail order catalogs were analyzed and the samples were collected through the questionaire distributed to 214 women. It was analyzed by SAS package. The results are as follows; 1. As a result of mail-order catalog analysis, domestic clothing included few famous brand except foreign brand. 2. The users of mail-order purchasing were old and married women comparably. They were also high clothing-expense users and housekeepers. Item that consumers wanted to buy using mail-order shopping were home-wear, night-wear, accessories and scarves which were involved low risks comparably. 3. Consumers regard brand significantly as a means of credit in purchasing mail-order shopping clothing. In analysis between importance of mail-order clothing brand and demographics, degree of education and clothing expense per month showed significant difference.

In this article, we study a reduced-order modelling for distributed feedback control problem of the Burgers equations. Brief review of the centroidal Voronoi tessellation (CVT) are provided. A weighted (nonuniform density) CVT is introduced and low-order approximate solution and compensator-based control design of Burgers equation is discussed. Through weighted CVT (or CVT-nonuniform) method, obtained low-order basis is applied to low-order functional gains to design a low-order controller, and by using the low-order basis order of control modelling was reduced. Numerical experiments show that a solution of reduced-order controlled Burgers equation performs well in comparison with a solution of full order controlled Burgers equation.

The proportional likelihood ratio order is an extension of the likelihood ratio order for the non-negative absolutely continuous random variables. In addition, the Lindley distribution has been over looked as a mixture of two exponential distributions due to the popularity of the exponential distribution. In this paper, we first recalled the above concepts and then obtained various properties of the Lindley distribution due to the proportional likelihood ratio order. These results are more general than the likelihood ratio ordering aspects related to this distribution. Finally, we discussed the proportional likelihood ratio ordering in view of the weighted version of the Lindley distribution.

The semiempirical time-dependent Hartree-Fock PM3 calculations have been performed on three polyene systems. In order to study the nonlinear optical properties, we calculated the frequency-dependent first-, second-, and third-order polarizabilities of thiophene-, furan-, pyrrole-nitro polyene systems. The PM3 predicted average and longitudinal polarizabilties increase in the order: thiophene- > pyrrole- > furan-nitro polyene systems. The PM3 predicted limiting average second-order polarizabilities show the order: pyrrole- > furan- > thiophene-nitro polyene systems. The average and longitudinal third-order polarizabilties have the following order: pyrrole- > thiophene- > furan-nitro polyene systems. In these trends, we sugest that pyrrole group is the best donor group among the three polyene systems.
