  • The effects of time-sampling on nonlinear output regulation problem is investigated. Output regulatedness is preserved under time sampling as in linear systems, however output regulatability is not robust with respect to time-sampling, and thus one needs to seek an approximate nonlinear sampled-data output regulator.

  • The effects of time-sampling on linear output regulation problem is ivestigated. It is found that the solvability of linear output regulation problem is generally not robust with respect to time-sampling although the solvability of that for single inut and single output linear systems and the solvability of linear robust output regulation problem are preserved under time-sampling. The resutls imply that one needs to seek a better approximate sampled-data output regulator.

  • Cross regulation is a key technical issue of single-inductor multiple-output (SIMO) DC-DC converters. This paper investigates the cross regulation in single-inductor dual-output (SIDO) Buck converters with continuous conduction mode (CCM) operation. The expressions of the DC voltage gain, control to the output transfer function, cross regulation transfer function, cross coupled transfer function and impedance transfer function of the converter are presented by the time averaging equivalent circuit approach. A small signal model of a SIDO CCM Buck converter is built to analyze this cross regulation. The laws of cross regulation with respect to various load conditions are investigated. Simulation and experiment results verify the theoretical analysis. This study will be helpful for converter design to reduce the cross regulation. In addition, a control strategy to reduce cross regulation is performed.

  • This paper presents the development of linear quadratic regulation and output tracking algorithms using output feedback when both the measurement and performance output equations contain direct feedthrough terms. Although all physical systems can be modeled without direct feedthrough, there are still many situations where system models with direct feedthrough are important. For this situation, we modify previous work on the same topic for systems without direct feedthrough. It is shown that for the regulation problem, the optimal output feedback gain for a direct feedthrough case can be directly obtained, via a transformation, from the approach used for systems without direct feedthrough. However, for the tracking problem, a new set of coupled matrix equations for determining the optimal output feedback gain is derived from the necessary conditions for minimizing the cost function. The effectiveness of the developed algorithms is demonstrated using numerical examples.

  • In this paper, a novel multiple output converter using quasi load is proposed. Conventional multiple output converters using multi-winding transformer has poor output voltage regulations. To solve this problem, there are many proposals like post regulation method, weighted control method, and etc. However, the post regulation method regulates output voltage tightly but its conduction loss and cost are increased. And the weighted control can achieve high efficiency and low cost but its regulation is not enough. To solve these problems, this paper proposes a novel multiple output converter using quasi load. The proposed method uses a quasi load which acts like an active dummy load for tight regulation but there is rarely increase of loss and cost. The proposed method is verified by hardware test by two output(24V and 15V) flyback type converter.

  • The current-fed DC-DC converter, which is known as the most stable DC-DC converter, has a two-winding reactor in series with the input. In this paper a new double-output DC-DC converter circuit, in which the 2nd winding of the reactor is creating the 2nd output, while the 2nd winding is feeding the energy to the input in the current-fed converter, is propose. The steady state characteristics of the new circuit are clarified and it is found that the maximum value exists in the 2nd output. Furthermore, regulation characteristic is analysed by 'Slope method' and the result shows good agreement with experimental value. The 2nd output voltage regulation is performed by using regulation IC. As a result, we have achieved good regulation characteristics.

  • In this paper, we propose an LDO that improves the load regulation change due to the current detection structure. The proposed LDO regulator adds the proposed current detection circuit to the output stage. Thereby to improve the load regulation of the delta value coming in on the output has a voltage value of an improved load Regulation characteristics than conventional LDO regulator. Using the proposed current detection structure, it was possible to improve the output change according to the change of the load current by about 60%. The proposed circuit has been simulated and verified characteristics by using a Spectre, Virtuoso simulation of Cadence.

  • In this note, we present some sufficient conditions on the structure of modelling uncertainties for output regualtion of uncertain systems. It turns out that these conditions include as special cases the ordinary matching conditions for stage regulation of uncertain systems and the disturbance decoupling condition. the previous restrictions on the structure of modelling uncertainties can be considerably relaxed in the case of output regulation. The significance of out result is illuminated through a simple example.

  • In this paper we present an LDO based on an error amplifier. The designed error amplifier has a gain of 89.93dB at low frequencies. This amplifier's Bandwidth is 50.8MHz and its phase margin is $59.2^{\circ}C$. Also we proposed a BGR. This BGR has a low output variation with temperature and its PSRR at 1 KHz is -71.5dB. For a temperature variation from $-40^{\circ}C$ to $125^{\circ}C$ we have just 9.4mV variation in 3.3V LDO output. Also it is stable for a wide range of output load currents [0-200mA] and a $1{\mu}F$ output capacitor and its line regulation and especially load regulation is very small comparing other papers. The PSRR of proposed LDO is -61.16dB at 1 KHz. Also we designed it for several output voltages by using a ladder of resistors, transmission gates and a decoder. Low power consumption is the other superiority of this LDO which is just 1.55mW in full load. The circuit was designed in $0.35{\mu}m$ CMOS process.

  • In this paper Low Drop-Out (LDO) regulator that improved load regulation characteristics due to the feedback detection structure. The proposed feedback sensing circuit is added between the output of the LDO's internal error amplifier and the input of the pass transistor to improve the regulation of the delta value coming into the output. It has a voltage value with improved load regulation characteristics than existing LDO regulator. The proposed LDO structure was analyzed in Samsung 0.13um process using Cadence's Virtuoso, Spectre simulator.
