페놀 폼 단열재의 연기밀도 및 가스유해성 평가 (Evaluation of Smoke Density and Noxious Gas for Phenol Foam Insulation)

  • The smoke density and noxious gas for phenol foam and polyurethane foam were measured according to test methods in ASTM E 662 and KS F 2271. It was observed that phenol foam had the possibility of application for sandwich panel and board compared with polyurethane foam. In the experimental results, phenol foam showed comparatively excellent property than polyurethane foam in smoke density and noxious gas. The polyurethane foam showed comparatively high smoke density and didn't meet the evaluation standard of noxious gas in KS F 2271. From the experimental results of smoke density and noxious gas, it can be said that phenol foam has both comparatively good safety and high possibility of application than polyurethane foam in the building fire of sandwich panel structure because of lower smoke density and noxious gas.

폴리우레탄 고분자 LB막의 표면구조 관찰 및 전기적 특성 (Observation of Surface Morphology and Electrical Properties of Polyurethane Polymer LB Films)

  • We attempted to fabricate polyurethane derivatives (PU-CN, PU-DCM) LB films by using LB method. Also, we investigated the monolayer behavior at the air-water interface by surface pressure-area (${\pi}$-A) isotherms. The surface morphologies and the physicochemical properties of LB films were investigated by atomic force microscopy(AFM) and UV-vis spectroscopy, respectively. And, the electrical properties of polyurethane derivatives LB films were investigated by using the conductivity and the dielectric constant. In the surface morphologies, physicochemical and electrical properties of polyurethane derivatives LB films, the properties is different as to the polyurethane derivatives, it is considered that this phenomena could be described by the difference of lumophore pendant which was adhered at PU main chain.

  • In this study, the polyurethane which has versatile applications has been reinforced with the natural clay, hectorite. The hectorite has better properties than montmorillonite. There are studies on polyurethane and montmorillonite but polyurethane and hectorite composite is published first time. Polyurethane is industrial polyurethane which makes the study to be applicable to the industry. Exfoliated structure has been obtained without using organic modifiers due to the hydrophilic nature of the polymer matrix and the mineral clay. Mechanical properties have been improved as well.

  • In this study we experimented that how polyurethane effect to acrylic-polyurethane resin in Full-Grain leather coatings. First of all, we consummated waterborne acrylic emulsion and waterborne polyurethane resin, Than we prepared F.G leathers which were coated by acrylic resin and acrylic-polyurethane resins. According to measured data for solvent resistance, acrylic resin and acrylic-polyurethane resins had good property. Sample a(WAC) had most low strength($2.10kg_f/mm^2$) and sample d(WAC 93 : WPU 7) had most high strength($3.41kg_f/mm^2$). Also we knew that most good property of abrasion is d(47.4 mg). In elongation case, a(WAC) had most good result(645 %) in this experiment.

  • The physical characteristics of polyurethane were examined by SEM, FT-IR tensile strength and mole % [NCO/OH]. Growing concerns in the environment-friendly architecture and public works have led to the development of solvent-free formulations that can be cured and foamed in air. Compared with general packing materials, this resin is much stronger in intensity and much longer in durability. Polyurethane foam resins were mainly composed of polyol, MDI, silicone surfactant, fillers, catalyst and blowing agent. The rigid foam of polyurethane in mechanical characteristics were due to chain extender and the increase of mole % [NCO/OH]. The change in the microstructure of polyurethane should be taken into account when considering the process of construction and durability through the polyurethane polymer resin in lots of industries.

저연기성 이액형 방염우레탄락카 백색도료 연구 (Study for Binary Liquid Type Fire Retardant White Paint of Polyurethane Lacquer)

  • 방염도료로 일액형 염화고무(Chlorinated Rubber) 백색도료가 많이 사용되고 있는데 이는 탄화시 검은 연기가 많이 발생되고 목재에 대한 표면강도와 접착력 등의 미흡한 단점이 있어 이러한 점 등을 고려한 Polyurethane Resin계(Alkyd Resin) 이액형 방염우레탄라카 백색도료를 개발하였다. 본 실험에서 개발한 목재용 Polyurethane Resin계 방염도료 조성의 물성은 기존의 방염백색도료보다 목재와의 친화력이 향상되고 다량의 연기발생은 억제하는 결과를 얻었다.

  • 본 연구를 통해서 온도감응성 polyurethane을 제조하여 수분의 투과거동을 검토하고 약물방출조절용 제제로의 적용가능성을 검토하였다. Polyurethane의 기계적 물성 및 Tg는 사용한 polyol의 분자량과 hard segment의 양을 이용하여 조절하였으며 온도증가에 따라 수분의 투과도가 증가함을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 온도변화에 따라 약물의 투과도가 변화하는 온도감응성 약물방충용 재료로 사용 가능성을 확인하였다.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the fundamental properties of polyurethan concrete. Polyurethane must be expanded by means of a blowing agent during polymerization. Chemical blowing is caused by the reaction water with isocyanate. Binder system for polyurethane concrete is based on polyol and isocyanate with catalyst, surfactant, and methyl chloride. Polyurethane concretes are prepared with various grading of aggregate, and tested for compressive, flexural strengths, flow test, foaming multiple proportion, working life, condition of surface, distirbution of aggregate. From the test results, the foaming of polyurethane concretes are affceted by amount and grading of aggregate. Workability increases with raising amount of methy chloride and working life reduced according to amount of catalyst. The mix proportion of B with methyl chloride of 1% and catalyst of 0.1g for polyurethane concrete is recommended in consideration of strengths, condition of surface and balance between cost and performance.

  • 다양한 발포체와 탄성체로 사용되는 폴리우레탄은 생산 현장에서 발생하는 폐기물과 사용 후 발생하는 폐기물들이 상태에 따라 적절한 재활용 기술이 적용됨으로써 자원 순환에 이바지 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 재활용 기술을 물리적인 재활용, 화학적인 재활용, 에너지 재활용으로 구분하여 문헌에 보고된 내용들을 고찰하였다.

  • Foam reaction injection molding (FRIM) is a widely used process for manufacturing polyurethane foam with complex shapes. Numerical model for polyurethane foam forming reaction during FRIM process has been intensively investigated by a number of researchers to precisely predict final shapes of polyurethane foams. In this study, we have identified a problem related with a previous theoretical model for polyurethane foam forming reaction. Thus, previous theoretical model was modified based on experimental and computational results.
