Purpose This study analyzed the topic of game review contents and how the characteristics of game reviews affect the reviews helpfulness. In addition, this study explore the content of game reviews according to the game's sales strategy such as early access strategy and releasing without early access. Design/methodology/approach We collected a list of 3,572 action genre games released in 2020. 58,336 online reviews were collected by random sampling 50 reviews in each games, and topic modeling was performed on those reviews. We dynamized the results of topic modeling and analyzed the effect on review helpfulness with multiple regression analysis. Findings The results of analysis indicate that the longer the review is or the shorter the time it is written, the more helpful the review is. In addition the topic with positive and negative review has a significant effect on the review helpfulness. As a result of exploratory analysis, games from early access had relatively fewer reviews of story-related topics than games that were released without early access. These findings can present direct guidelines for collecting specific opinions from customers in the game industry when releasing games.

Defense specification suitability review task means to examine whether to need enactment, amendment or abolition of defense specification, and realistic and efficient review environment are urgently needed by improving system. For the promotion of efficient tasks, the cycle of defense specification suitability review needs to be changed to 5 years for active specifications and 10 years for inactive specifications. To simplify the standards of defense specification suitability review, the distinction between prior management items and general management items should be abolished and the number of review items need to be reduced from ten to three. Also, in order to promote substantial defense specification suitability review, a system improvement is needed to utilize retired professionals from defense acquisition related agencies.

As users of internet-based software applications increase, functional and non-functional problems for software applications are quickly exposed to user reviews. These user reviews are an important source of information for software improvement. User review mining has become an important topic of intelligent software engineering. This study proposes a user review mining method for software improvement. User review data collected by crawling on the app review page is analyzed to check user satisfaction. It analyzes the sentiment of positive and negative that users feel with a machine learning method. And it analyzes user requirement issues through topic analysis based on structural topic modeling. The user review mining process proposed in this study conducted a case study with the a non-face-to-face video conferencing app. Software improvement through user review mining contributes to the user lock-in effect and extending the life cycle of the software. The results of this study will contribute to providing insight on improvement not only for developers, but also for service operators and marketing.

Online reviews attract much attention because they play an essential role in consumer decision-making. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate the review attributes that affect the perceived helpfulness of consumers. However, most previous studies on the helpfulness of online reviews mainly focus on quantitative factors such as review volume and reviewer attributes. Recently, some studies have investigated the impact of review content and linguistic style matching on consumers' purchase decision-making. Those studies show that consumers consider additional review attributes when evaluating reviews in decision-making. To fill the research gap with existing literature, we investigated the impact of review content and linguistic style matching on review helpfulness. Moreover, this study investigated how the reviewers' expertise moderates the effect of the review content and linguistic style matching on the review helpfulness. The empirical results show that positive affective content has a negative effect on the review helpfulness. The negative affective content and linguistic style matching positively affect review helpfulness. Review expertise relieved the impact of negative affective content and linguistic style matching on review helpfulness. According to the mechanism confirmed in this study, online e-commerce companies can achieve corporate sales growth by identifying factors affecting review helpfulness and reflecting them in their marketing strategies.

Background : Utilization review has been adopted as a vehicle for cost and utilization control of health care services. Its role was further stressed and expanded through the establishment of Health Insurance Review Agency in 2001. This article is to introduce concept, activities, and effect of utilization review based on the experiences of U.S. and to suggest important characteristics for ideal utilization review activities at the national level in Korea. Method : Twenty-five articles related with utilization review were reviewed after being selected through web site search through Med Line and Richis. Result : Utilization review was introduced mainly for health care expenditure control either by insurer, provider or the third parties under the pressure of increasing health care cost. It's activities can be categorized to prospective, concurrent and retrospective review according to the time of service provision. Based on most of studies, utilization review has been effective in controling rising health care cost and utilization. However it's effectiveness assumes a reimbursement structure of managed care like capitation payment. More worse, it is still unknown it's effectiveness on quality of care. Conclusion : Utilization review should be employed to increase the cost effectiveness of medical care by optimizing quality and patient's outcomes while also attempting to reduce the use of resources. So, it should consider outcomes before expenditures, check for both under and over-use, and construct an structure in which consumption is reduced equitably. Aggressive adoption of utilization review in Korean health care setting with fee-for-service reimbursement structure might not be a cost-effective approach before adoption of prospective payment system such as D.R.G. and capitation.

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to develop a case review form for detecting adverse events through a medical records review in hospitalized patients in South Korea. Methods: To develop the case review form, several literatures were reviewed, first. Through the clinical expert meeting, screening criteria were selected and case review form was developed. Result: The Korean version of case review form consisted of the review form-1 for adverse event screening and form-2 for adverse event identification. The applied methodology for the case review form is determined according to the previous studies. For example, the method used in the first stage review is nurse review. Furthermore, the National Coordinating Council for Medication Errors Reporting and Prevention index is used to categorize disability, and a scale of 1 to 6 was used in the causation scores and preventability scores, respectively. Through the clinical expert meeting, a total of 41 screening criteria were selected. Conclusion: The Korean specific case review form was developed for detecting adverse events in hospitalized patients. The results from this study can be used in a large-scale study regarding the nationwide incidence of adverse events.

The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, which has continuously evaluated the performance of healthcare systems, has recently invested much effort into hospital performance measurement. The purpose of this paper is to introduce the hospital performance measurement programs operated by international organizations or at the national level based on the OECD's hospital performance project. Health Insurance Review & Assessment service (HIRA)'s quality assessment was analyzed based on the analytical framework of the OECD's hospital performance project. The hospital performance measurement programs of WHO, Canada, Australia, United States and United Kingdom are briefly explored, in view of the conceptual framework, key performance dimensions and indicators that are currently in use. The OECD suggested seven key dimensions of hospital performance: timeliness, efficiency, continuity, effectiveness and appropriateness, staff orientation, patient orientation and safety. The analysis of the quality assessment program of HIRA, which operates 36 diseases and procedures and 347 indicators, shows that the numbers of indicators are relatively small in the areas of safety, patient centeredness and efficiency. Continuity of care and staff orientation are not fully developed also, but the situations are similar in other countries. In conclusion, hospital performance measurement using stable and comprehensive data should be developed to improve overall system performance, and discussions on a conceptual framework that can lay out directions and key performance domains need to take into place.

Access re-review is a valuable and important task, but it is burdensome for archivists. Thus, an access re-review automation was proposed to address this. In this situation, the National Archives of Korea actually utilized the access re-review solution in the performance of the "2020 Access Re-Review Project" and compared and analyzed it with human work. The project was, however, not a research project centered on analysis on access re-review solutions, and it has a limited result in terms of experimental use of commercial programs. Nevertheless, in the current situation where there are only macro and superficial discussions on access re-review of intelligent archives, it would be meaningful to apply the access re-review solution to archivists in real businesses and examine the results. This paper seeks to discuss the practicality that can mitigate the task of access re-review through an analysis of use cases of access re-review solutions.

To suggest future directions for the improvement in the Institutional Review Board (IRB) review process and efficient operation of IRB, we have analyzed the IRB review results from 460 new research proposals submitted to the Review by the Convened IRB of the Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital IRB from January 2019 to July 2021. IRB is an independently established institutional committee to protect the human subjects by reviewing the research protocol in ethical as well as scientific aspects, so it is necessary to continuously contemplate the ethical versus scientific dilemma of 'what is ethical or scientific and what can actually protect human subjects.' Particularly, in this process, it is necessary to consider diverse ways to strengthen self-supervision through continuous Internal Audit rather than simple reporting outcomes. In addition, if it does not directly affect the protection of the human subjects, the discussion with the committee members is needed so that the comments such as administrative and typographical errors can be reduced as much as possible. Furthermore, as statistical analysis methods can have a significant impact on the safety of human subjects, if a legal basis and/or support related to statistics is provided for the composition of IRB members, a more specialized IRB review will be achieved.

As the academic publishing environment evolves rapidly and the open science paradigm emerges, the demand for efficient and transparent peer review is growing. This study outlines efforts to actively introduce advanced concepts in scholarly communication into the submission and review system. AccessON Peer Review Management System Plus (ACOMS+), developed and operated by the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information, is an online submission and peer review system that aims for open science. This study provides an overview of ACOMS+ and presents its four main features: open peer review, open access publishing and self-archiving, online quantitative/qualitative evaluation, and peer reviewer invitation. The directions for further developing ACOMS+ to fully support open science are also discussed. ACOMS+ is the first system in Korea to introduce the open peer review process and is distinguished as a system that supports open access publishing and digital transformation of academic journals. Furthermore, ACOMS+ is expected to contribute to the advancement of the academic publishing environment through the increasing shift toward open access publishing, transparent peer review, and open science.
