Both supply chain management and safety management contribute to strengthening a company's competitiveness. However, there is no previous research that considers supply chain management and safety management simultaneously The objective of this research is to study on application of safety management to supply chain. In this paper, the concept of supply chain safety management is defined. Based on the concept of supply chain safety management, supply chain safety management model is developed that consists of supply safety management, production safety management, storage safety management, and distribution safety management. In order to apply supply chain safety management, a methodology is developed that consists of four phases. Applying the supply chain safety management model, it is expected a company to lower cost as well as to raise customer satisfaction level.

Department of Defense, Republic of Korea has put in significant efforts towards safety over the years by developing defense safety management systems, such as establishing safety management organizations and enacting laws and regulations. Therefore, the number of casualties due to military activities has been reduced dramatically. However, many errors and problems are present in the safety management system (SMS) owing to a lack of proper SMS. That brings inefficiency and discontinuity in SMS. Hence, typical phenomena such as lack of safety management professionals and reactive safety management activities have not been properly corrected. This study reviews various academic papers on the SMS and research reports of major foreign institutions to redefine the concept and components of the defense safety management system to ultimately suggest improvement in the R.O.K defense safety management system. Additionally, the safety management system of the U.S. and British forces, considered to be the leading safety management system, were analyzed and compared to R.O.K defense SMS to derive their implications.

A studies wish to present safety assessment table that is consisted of safety check-up, safety education, safety management for worker's safety management assessment about unit process. And safety management level was survey through case study that use safety assessment table. Safety management assessment table is improved safety management level of unit process, and is developed safety management system by worker confirms assessment items and improves problem.

In this study, the effect of a telecommunication company's safety management system on workers' safety awareness and safety behavior was empirically verified. The main findings are as follows: First, among the factors of the telecommunication company's safety management system, the management supervisor's capability and level of industrial accident investigations were found to have a significant positive effect on workers' safety awareness. Second, workers' safety awareness was observed to exert a significant positive effect on their safety behavior. Third, among the factors of the telecommunication company's safety management system, the management supervisor's capability and industrial accident investigations were found to have a significant positive effect on the safety behavior of workers. Fourth, although the telecommunications safety management system factors, such as management supervisors' capability and industrial accident investigations, were found to have a positive effect on workers' safety awareness, they had no mediated effect on workers' safety behavior through safety awareness.

In this article, we verify to influence in the management performance by the safety management system that is recommended by the ICAO for the safety management on the airside area in the airport. Also, We present a comprehensive mediator effect that the employees perceive safety culture and safety behavior. We design how participants were selected as study the employees from 4 airports on the airside areas of the Incheon International Airport, Gimpo International Airport, Jeju International Airport and Gimhae International Airport in the Korea using the simple random sampling method. The instrument for data collection was a questionnaire, and it was developed. Data analysis was to conduct structural equation modeling. Test of the hypotheses were verified to Maximum Likelihood Estimator. As a result of the analysis, safety behavior and risk management of the safety management system found out that affect management performance. Also, the employees of a high awareness about safety policy could be seen that is a high impact on management performance through a safety culture and a safety behavior. Safety behavior has significant mediator effect within the relationship between the safety management system and management performance. So, We provide guidance of the safety policies for the safety management on the airside area in the airport.

Recently, the issue of construction safety is growing. In the construction industry, accidents have continued to increase since 2000. In particular, the number of accident deaths at small and medium-sized construction sites accounts for 72.11% of the total number of accident deaths in the construction industry. For construction safety, prior safety evaluation systems such as Design for safety and safety management plan preparation are in place. However, at construction sites, these systems are recognized as formal legal documents, and their effectiveness is greatly reduced. Therefore, in this study, a linkage model that links design safety review information and safety management plan information was presented so that the safety management plan can be efficiently established. In addition, the effectiveness of the proposed process was verified as an example of actual work. The linkage model will contribute to improving the safety management environment at the site by increasing the productivity of safety management work by enabling easy sharing of risk factor information in the construction stage safety management work. The results of this study will be used as basic information for the development of the integrated safety management system.

There are two kind of method to perform a safety management in industrial field. One is a management by safety manager employed in company and another one is safety management by acting agency. In case of the company that managed by the acting agency dose not coincide with the state of company and safety management performance because of the safety management is carry out by periodically. Therefore it is considered that the sufficient safety management is difficult. And a company that employ a safety manager also show a low level of safety management compare with the advanced country in view of safety and health. From the statistics of accident rate of the company, it is necessary that an improved safety management through the studying and analysing a coverall matters for the company that managed by acting company.

본 연구는 신규간호사를 대상으로 환자안전동기, 환자안전관리태도, 환자안전관리행위 정도와 상관관계를 확인하고 환자안전관리행위에 영향을 주는 요인을 알아보고자 실시하였다. 신규간호사 127명을 대상으로 2020년 9월 11일부터 9월 30일까지 설문조사 하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 22.0 프로그램을 이용하여 t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test, Person's correlation coefficients, 다중회귀분석을 하였다. 환자안전동기는 환자안전관리태도, 환자안전관리행위와 양의 상관관계를 보였으며, 환자안전관리태도는 환자안전관리행위와 양의 상관관계를 보였다. 환자안전관리행위에 가장 유의한 영향을 준 요인은 환자안전동기, 환자안전관리태도, 환자안전관리 교육경험 이었다. 따라서 신규간호사의 환자안전관리행위 능력을 증진시키기 위해 환자안전동기, 환자안전관리태도를 포함한 환자안전교육 프로그램의 개발과 적용을 제안한다.

This paper reviewed the relationship between safety climate(management commitment, safety education, preventive activity) and safety participation, and the mediating effect of safety motivation(intrinsic and extrinsic motivation) in small business employee. Based on the responses from 270 employees, the results of multiple regression analysis appeared as follow; 1) management commitment, safety education, and preventive activity effect positively on intrinsic/extrinsic safety motivation. 2) management commitment, safety education, and preventive activity effect positively on safety participation. 3) intrinsic and extrinsic safety motivation effect positively on safety participation. 4) intrinsic safety motivation mediates between 3 climate factors(management commitment, safety education, preventive activity) and safety participation. 5) extrinsic safety motivation mediates between only management commitment and safety participation.

This study analyzed the smart construction safety cost included in safety management plans that are approved before construction. Specifically, it refers to the cost incurred in constructing and operating a safety management system using wireless communication and facilities. Based on the obtained statistical results, an activation policy for the inclusion of the smart construction safety cost in building safety management plans was proposed. The smart construction safety cost must be included in the safety management cost; notably, this is mandated by the Construction Technology Promotion Act. However, there are some problems with the inclusion of smart construction safety costs. To analyze the problems encountered when calculating the smart construction safety cost and including it in safety management plans, in this study, statistical analysis was performed using the data of 1,334 safety management plans received at the Construction Safety Management Integrated Information (CSI) from June to August 2021. The results show that only 50.7% of the safety management plans included the smart construction safety cost although the current law mandates 100% inclusion of these costs. Thus, it is apparent that the smart construction safety costs are only included in a low proportion of sites. In addition, the calculated smart construction safety costs were shown to have a small correlation with the construction cost; moreover, they appeared to be distributed at a constant cost level. In this context, it is believed that perfunctory cost calculations were performed at most sites since the effect of the construction cost on the smart construction safety cost was negligible. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the inclusion of smart construction safety costs by strengthening the authorization process of the approval institute of safety management plans. In addition, institutional support, such as guidelines that promote the calculation and inclusion of appropriate smart construction safety costs according to the characteristics of sites, are needed.
