  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore practice-based evidence for health promotion in vulnerable populations with hypertension in primary health care settings. Methods: Two methodological procedures were adopted for this triangulation study. In the first phase, the sample was obtained from the computerized clinical data repository of a community nursing center. A total of 286 clients were assessed for hypertension as an actual circulation problem as coded in the Omaha System. In the second phase, a qualitative focus group was surveyed through semi-structured interviews conducted by nine advanced practice nurses who had been serving the hypertensive patients. Results: The community nurses provided essential primary healthcare services including health teaching guidance and counseling, and surveillance to vulnerable populations living in medically underserved community. There was a significant positive correlation between knowledge and behavior (r=.53, p<.01), between knowledge and health status (r=.40, p<.05), and between behavior and health status (r=.48, p<.01). Conclusion: This triangulation study encompassed not only quantitative findings from the computerized records of clients but also other information acquired from advanced practice nurses. This study contributes to understanding the importance of health promotion nursing interventions even with populations already diagnosed with chronic diseases such as hypertension.

  • In this study, the experiments for surface enhancement of silver mirror substrates were done, where we checked the characteristics of silver surface made by Tollen's and ${\gamma}$- irradiation method. The surface enhancement of Indigo carmine was analyzed by silver mirror and silver sol surfaces. The assignments of the vibrational bands shown in SERS spectra are given based on both literature and the semi-empirical calculations at the PM3 methods. We deduced that the adsorption orientation of Indigo carmine was little tilted perpendicular to the silver surfaces by using of the surface selection rules.

  • In this letter, a new dual-port Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) antenna is introduced which has two independent signal feeding ports in a single antenna element to achieve smaller antenna volumes for the 5G mobile applications. The dual-port structure is implemented by adding a cross coupled semi-loop (CCSL) antenna as the secondary radiator to the ground short of inverted-F antenna (IFA). It is found that the port to port isolation is not deteriorated when an IFA and CCSL is combined to form a dual-port structure. The isolation property of the proposed antenna is compared with a polarization diversity based dual-port antenna proposed in the literature [9]. The operating frequency range is 3.3-4.0 GHz which is suitable for places where $4{\times}4$ MIMO systems are supposed to be deployed such as in China, EU, Korea and Japan at the band ${\times}$ (3.3 - 3.8GHz. The measured 6-dB impedance bandwidths of the proposed antennas are larger than 700 MHz with isolation between the feeding ports higher than 18 dB [1-2]. The simulation and measurement results show that the proposed antenna concept is a very promising alternative for 5G mobile applications.

  • In this paper, the visual tracking system for arbitrary shaped moving object is proposed. The established tracking system can be divided into model based method that needs previous model for target object and image based method that uses image feature. In the model based method, the reliable tracking is possible, but simplification of the shape is necessary and the application is restricted to definite target mod el. On the other hand, in the image based method, the process speed can be increased, but the shape information is lost and the tracking system is sensitive to image noise. The proposed tracking system is composed of the extraction process that recognizes the existence of moving object and tracking process that extracts dynamic characteristics and shape information of the target objects. Specially, active contour model is used to effectively track the object that is undergoing shape change. In initializatio n process of the contour model, the semi-automatic operation can be avoided and the convergence speed of the contour can be increased by the proposed effective initialization method. Also, for the efficient solution of the correspondence problem in multiple objects tracking, the variation function that uses the variation of position structure in image frame and snake energy level is proposed. In order to verify the validity and effectiveness of the proposed tracking system, real time tracking experiment for multiple moving objects is implemented.

  • We explored collective behaviors of indicator species to elucidate the effect of the chemical stress. After the treatments of an insecticide, diazinon, at low concentrations (1.0 and 10.0 ${\mu}g/L$), spatial dispersion patterns of Daphnia magna were checked in a test chamber. The I-index was used to characterize the movement data before (0~1 h) and after (1~2 h) the treatments in laboratory conditions. The slopes of the frequency distribution of I-index in semi-log scale decreased significantly, and the test populations appeared to be more dispersed with a lower degree of aggregation after the treatments. The index was feasible in indicating decrease in the ability of the specimens to keep desirable distances with neighbor individuals under chemical stress and showed a possibility of monitoring presence of toxic chemicals in environment through group behavior measurement.

  • Under the knowledge-based economy in 21C, the convergence and complexity in science and technology are being more active. Therefore, we have science and technology are classified properly, make not easy to construct the system to new next generation area. Thus we suggest the systematic solution method to flexibly extend classification scheme in order for content management and service organizations. In this way, we expect that the difficult of classification scheme management is minimized and the expense of it is spared.

  • Microplastic pollution in the marine ecosystem has been emerged as a global issue. In this study, we investigated the abundance of microplastics from clam Meretrix lusoria, blood arkshell Scapharca broughtonii, and warty sea squirt Styela clava obtained from a local market in Busan, Korea. The marine organisms were digested in 10% KOH, and were incubated at 40℃ and 150 rpm, for 7 days. The digest was filtered through standard sieve (5 mm, 1 mm, 300 ㎛, and 100 ㎛), and mciroplastics were identified using a light microscope and microFT-IR. The abundance of microplastics of clam, blood arkshell, warty sea squirt was 0.08 items/g, 0.05 items/g, and 0.12 items/g, respectively. The predominant microplastic size was in the range of 100-300 ㎛, occupying 48%, and the predominant type was fiber. The composition of microplastics was mostly rayon, semi-synthetic cellulosic material and polyester, which are main component of fabric and textile. We strongly believe that this preliminary work may provide useful information for the establishment of the standardized analysis method of microplastics ingested by marine organisms.

  • Fonts have developed as a visual element, and their influence has rapidly increased around the world. Research on font automation is actively being conducted mainly in English because Hangul is a combination character and the structure is complicated. In the previous study to solve this problem, the stroke element of the character was automatically extracted by applying the object detection by component. However, the previous research was only for similarity, so it was tested on various print style fonts, but it has not been tested on other characters. In order to extract the stroke elements of all characters and fonts, we performed a performance analysis experiment according to the expansion character in the Hangul stroke element extraction training. The results were all high overall. In particular, in the font expansion type, the extraction success rate was high regardless of having done the training or not. In the character expansion type, the extraction success rate of trained characters was slightly higher than that of untrained characters. In conclusion, for the perfect Hangul stroke element extraction model, we will introduce Semi-Supervised Learning to increase the number of data and strengthen it.

  • This paper proposes an adaptive fault accommodation control approach for flexible-joint (FJ) robots with multiple actuator faults. It is assumed that the value and occurrence time of multiple actuator faults are unknown. An adaptive fault accommodation control scheme with prescribed performance bounds, which characterize the convergence rate and maximum overshoot of tracking errors, is designed to accommodate the actuator faults. From the Lyapunov stability theorem, it is proved that all signals of the closed-loop system are semi-globally uniformly ultimately bounded and tracking errors are preserved within prescribed performance bounds regardless of actuator faults.

From June to August 2013, semi-structured in-depth interviews with 9 youth and documents were used to collect data. Constant Comparative analysis of how young people experience and respected, and growing, preparing me for the future analysis. Self-esteem and academic achievement through tutoring has been increased positive social relationships was able to form a bond. Participants for further study and career began to worry seriously, like a tutor who come to resemble the tutor himself the goal is to meet the youth was found to be preparing to establish.
