  • A skew generalized power series ring R[[S, 𝜔]] consists of all functions from a strictly ordered monoid S to a ring R whose support contains neither infinite descending chains nor infinite antichains, with pointwise addition, and with multiplication given by convolution twisted by an action 𝜔 of the monoid S on the ring R. Special cases of the skew generalized power series ring construction are skew polynomial rings, skew Laurent polynomial rings, skew power series rings, skew Laurent series rings, skew monoid rings, skew group rings, skew Mal'cev-Neumann series rings, the "untwisted" versions of all of these, and generalized power series rings. In this paper we obtain some necessary conditions on R, S and 𝜔 such that the skew generalized power series ring R[[S, 𝜔]] is (uniquely) clean. As particular cases of our general results we obtain new theorems on skew Mal'cev-Neumann series rings, skew Laurent series rings, and generalized power series rings.

  • Let R be a ring and ${\alpha}$ a monomorphism of R. We study the skew Laurent polynomial rings R[x, x$^{-1}$; ${\alpha}$] over an ${\alpha}$-skew Armendariz ring R. We show that, if R is an ${\alpha}$-skew Armendariz ring, then R is a Baer (resp. p.p.-)ring if and only if R[x, x$^{-1}$; ${\alpha}$] is a Baer (resp. p.p.-) ring. Consequently, if R is an Armendariz ring, then R is a Baer (resp. p.p.-)ring if and only if R[x, x$^{-1}$] is a Baer (resp. p.p.-)ring.

  • We show that the ${\theta}$-prime radical of a ring R is the set of all strongly ${\theta}$-nilpotent elements in R, where ${\theta}$ is an automorphism of R. We observe some conditions under which the ${\theta}$-prime radical of coincides with the prime radical of R. Moreover we characterize elements in prime radicals of skew Laurent polynomial rings, studying (${\theta}$, ${\theta}^{-1}$)-(semi)primeness of ideals of R.

  • Let R be a ring, (S,${\leq}$) a strictly ordered monoid and ${\omega}$ : S ${\rightarrow}$ End(R) a monoid homomorphism. The skew generalized power series ring R[[S,${\omega}$]] is a common generalization of (skew) polynomial rings, (skew) power series rings, (skew) Laurent polynomial rings, (skew) group rings, and Mal'cev-Neumann Laurent series rings. In this paper, we investigate the interplay between the ring-theoretical properties of R[[S,${\omega}$]] and the graph-theoretical properties of its zero-divisor graph ${\Gamma}$(R[[S,${\omega}$]]). Furthermore, we examine the preservation of diameter and girth of the zero-divisor graph under extension to skew generalized power series rings.

  • Let R be a ring with an automorphism 17. An ideal [ of R is ($\sigma$-ideal of R if $\sigma$(I).= I. A proper ideal P of R is ($\sigma$-prime ideal of R if P is a $\sigma$-ideal of R and for $\sigma$-ideals I and J of R, IJ $\subseteq$ P implies that I $\subseteq$ P or J $\subseteq$ P. A proper ideal Q of R is $\sigma$-semiprime ideal of Q if Q is a $\sigma$-ideal and for a $\sigma$-ideal I of R, I$^{2}$ $\subseteq$ Q implies that I $\subseteq$ Q. The $\sigma$-prime radical is defined by the intersection of all $\sigma$-prime ideals of R and is denoted by P$_{(R). In this paper, the following results are obtained: (1) For a principal ideal domain R, P$_{(R) is the smallest $\sigma$-semiprime ideal of R; (2) For any ring R with an automorphism $\sigma$ and for a skew Laurent polynomial ring R[x, x$^{-1}$; $\sigma$], the prime radical of R[x, x$^{-1}$; $\sigma$] is equal to P$_{(R)[x, x$^{-1}$; $\sigma$ ].

  • The reversible property of rings was initially introduced by Habeb and plays a role in noncommutative ring theory. In this note we study the reversible ring property on nilpotent elements, introducing the concept of commutativity of nilpotent elements at zero (simply, a CNZ ring) as a generalization of reversible rings. We first find the CNZ property of 2 by 2 full matrix rings over fields, which provides a basis for studying the structure of CNZ rings. We next observe various kinds of CNZ rings including ordinary ring extensions.
