In order to evaluate the quality of peaches non-destructively, the surface color and spectral reflectances of KURAKATAWASE, MIBAEKTO, and OKUBO cultivar were measured. Also an attempt was made to correlate reflectance characteristics and tristimulus values with quality evaluation parameters such as chlorophyll content, soluble solids, anthocyanin content, and firmness. Further analysis of the correlation coefficients showed that spectral reflectance would be effective for the quality evaluation of peaches.

Color simulation on a portable colorimeter was performed to distinguish quantitatively a chromaticity coordinates on a color guide of a urine strips by using the spectral power distribution of chip LED, the spectral reflectance of printed objects, and the spectral sensitivity of photodiode. The CIE tristimulus values and chromaticity coordinates realized by a colorimeter were modified to be conformable with real color reactions. Experimental results showed a real color in comparison with those obtained by Colorimeter CM2C(Color Savvy).

A computer simulation was performed to distinguish quantitatively a color reaction in a urine analysis systems by using the spectral power distribution of LEDs, the spectral reflectance of a urine strip, and the spectral sensitivity of photodiode. The CIE tristimulus values and CIE chromaticity coordinates ware modified to be conformable with real color reactions in a urine strips. Results on color simulation showed a of real color in comparison with those obtained by Colorimeter CM2C(Color Savvy).

새로운 품질지표를 개발하기 위하여 고오지 고추장을 표준화된 산업적 공정으로 제조한 후 가속조건인 $37^{\circ}C$에서 105일간 저장하면서 이화학적 특성을 측정하고 통계분석한 결과 고오지 고추장의 제조후 저장기간과 유의적인 상관관계를 보이는 특성은 43종 중 12종으로서 여기에는 맛과 색에 대한 기호도 이외에 색도(L, a, b, E), HMF, capsanthin, 포르몰태질소, threonine, 수분 및 수분활성도가 포함되었다. 이 중 7종의 특성은 색과 관련된 지표로서, 특히 색도는 고추장의 색에 대한 기호도와도 유의적 상관성이 높았으므로 기존 국가규격에 추가하는 것이 바람직하다고 사료된다 한편, 수거된 9개사 27종의 시판 공장산 고추장에 있어서 L값은 $28.21{\pm}1.48$, a값은 $9.37{\pm}2.54$, b값은 $4.35{\pm}2.9$, E값은 $30.09{\pm}2.42$로 나타났다.

시판차류기호식품(市販茶類嗜好食品)의 관능적(官能的) 평가(評價)와 이들 제품(製品)의 품질관리적(品質管理的) 측면(側面)에서 중요시되는 색도(色度)의 지표(指標)를 조사코저 Hunter-lab tristimulus colormeter를 이용(利用)하여 제품(製品)의 입도(粒度), 밀도(密度), 및 탈흡습(脫吸濕)이 색도(色度)에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 1. 제품(製品) 사이에는 입도(粒度)의 크기와 색도(色度)에서 특별한 유사성(有意性)이 인정되지 않았으며, 홍삼정분(紅蔘精粉)의 경우 입도(粒度)가 작아질수록 L,a,b 치(値)가 증가하고, X,Y,Z 치(値)에서는 X, Y 치(値)는 증가하는 경향이었으나 Z 치(値)는 일정치 않았다. 2. 시판차류기호식품(市販茶類嗜好食品) L치(値) 범위는 32.8$\sim$48.0이었고 a 치(値)는 3.9$\sim$10.4, b 치(値)는 5.6$\sim$18.0이었으며 대부분의 제품(製品)이 주황색색소계(朱黃色色素系)에 속하는 것으로 나타났다. 3. 제품(製品)의 밀도(密度)는 0.232$\sim$0.898 g/ml의 범위 내에 있었으며 밀도가 클수록 L치(値)가 가하는 경향이었다. 4. 제품별(製品別) a/b치(値)는 생강차를 제외하고 0.61$\sim$0.98의 범위 내에 집중되어 있었으며 총색도(總色度)의 차(差)($\Delta$E) 및 채색도(彩色度)의 차(差)($\Delta$C)가 작은 제품(製品)일수록 색상(色相)의 안정성(安定性)이 인정되었다. 5. 각제품(各製品) 사이에는 흡습(吸濕) 및 탈습(脫濕)에 의한 색상변화(色相變化)는 유의성이 없었다. 6. 광파장(光波長)에 따른 제품별색도(製品別色度)는 생강차, 쌍화차 및 탱이 녹적색계색소(綠赤色系色素)가 가장 높아 녹적색색소계(綠赤色色素系)인 반면 다른 차류제품(茶類製品)은 X,Y,Z 치(値)가 거의 비슷한 경향을 나타냈다.

Image retention is a kind of fatal shortcoming of the AC PDPs for realizing high-quality picture. In this work, the measurement method of image retention was proposed using temporal measurement of luminance, CIEXYZ tristimulus values, IR emission of reset pulse, and temperaturel. On the base of temporal measurement of luminance, CIEXYZ tristimulus value, and IR emission of reset pulse, the retention time of Ne+5%Xe gas-mixture discharge was about 2 hours after white window image. However, it was about 20 minute on the base of temporal measurement of temperature.

we describes a method for realizing the color conversion from the tristimulus (X, Y, Z) values to the print ink signals (C, M, Y) by using neural networks. The realized nonlinear color conversion system consists of two hidden layers those have seventeen nodes. We determined the C, M, Y values of the input control signals to compensate the printer nonlinearity of real systems. Experimental results showed that the described method is useful and valid to realized the nonlinear color conversion.
