  • Texture transfer is a method to transfer the texture of an input image into a target image, and is also used for transferring artistic style of the input image. This study presents a real-time texture transfer for generating artistic style video. In order to enhance performance, this paper proposes a parallel framework using T-shape kernel used in general texture transfer on GPU. To accelerate motion computation time which is necessarily required for maintaining temporal coherence, a multi-scaled motion field is proposed in parallel concept. Through these approach, an artistic texture transfer for video with a real-time performance is archived.

  • This paper proposed and implemented the adaptive transmission middleware for video streaming, which is able to support the adaptive transmission of video data to the fluctuating changes of network environment in the packet-based network and the properties of transmitted video data. The adaptive transmission middleware is made up SR-RTP-based transfer module and TFRC(TCP Friendly Rate Control)-based transfer-rate control module. The SR-RTP-based transfer module supports RTP-based real-time transfer of video data and packet retransmission scheme retransmitting the high-priority packets selectively in the damaged video data to reduce the error induced by the packet loss. Sharing the transmission bandwidth of network with the TCP-based data transfer, the TFRC-based transfer-rate control module controls the transfer rate of video data according to the most allowable transmission bandwidth in the network, so that the transfer rate is controlled adaptively to the fluctuating changes of transmission bandwidth. This paper, for the experiment, applied the adaptive transmission middleware to video streaming in the external Internet environment, and analyzed the effective frame transfer rate and the degree of the streaming jitter to evaluate the performance of packet-loss recovery and adaptive transfer rate control. In the external Internet environment where the packet-loss rate is high a bit, the relatively high streaming performance was showed compared with the case that didn't apply the adaptive transmission middleware.

  • In this paper, we developed real-tim video transfer system based on Android environment. After android device with embedded camera capture images, it sends image frames to video server system. And also video server transfer the images from client to peer client. Peer client also implemented on android environment. We can send 16 image frames per second without any loss in 3G mobile network environment.

  • Recently for the transfer of large size video file between sites for high-definition craft editing used by broadcasting company the Public Network is used a lot. In the IP Public Network with QoS(Quality-of-Service) not guaranteed, degradation of performance has several causes. In this paper, we have analyzed the causes of low performance to transfer a large size HD video file in long distance, in order to maximize the effectiveness, the high efficiency network could be implemented enabling the highspeed of HD video file using the connection with networks between hosts through packet creation and multi-session of Parallel TCP. We survey the result of high speed transfer system and verify the efficient transfer method using Public IP Network for large HD video file transfer in broadcasting cooperation.

  • Texture transfer is a NPR technique for expressing various styles according to source (reference) image. By late 2000s, there are many texture transfer researches. But video base researchers are not active. Moreover, they didn't use important feature like directional information which need to express detail characteristics of target. So, we propose a new method to generate texture transfer animation (using video) with directional effect for maintaining temporal coherence and controlling coherence direction of texture. For maintaining temporal coherence, we use optical flow and confidence map to adapt for occlusion/disocclusion boundaries. And we control direction of texture for taking structure of input. For expressing various texture effects according to different regions, we calculate gradient based on directional weight. With these techniques, our algorithm can make animation result that maintain temporal coherence and express directional texture effect. It is reflect the characteristics of source and target image well. And our result can express various texture directions automatically.

  • Video action recognition is widely used in video surveillance, behavior detection, human-computer interaction, medically assisted diagnosis and motion analysis. However, video action recognition can be disturbed by many factors, such as background, illumination and so on. Two-stream convolutional neural network uses the video spatial and temporal models to train separately, and performs fusion at the output end. The multi segment Two-Stream convolutional neural network model trains temporal and spatial information from the video to extract their feature and fuse them, then determine the category of video action. Google Xception model and the transfer learning is adopted in this paper, and the Xception model which trained on ImageNet is used as the initial weight. It greatly overcomes the problem of model underfitting caused by insufficient video behavior dataset, and it can effectively reduce the influence of various factors in the video. This way also greatly improves the accuracy and reduces the training time. What's more, to make up for the shortage of dataset, the kinetics400 dataset was used for pre-training, which greatly improved the accuracy of the model. In this applied research, through continuous efforts, the expected goal is basically achieved, and according to the study and research, the design of the original dual-flow model is improved.

  • A EBCOT(Embedded Block Coding with Optimized Truncation) is image compression codec using in JPEG2000, currently the new standard for still image coding. this paper proposes multi-channel video transfer system with EBCOT using a single codec to transfer video to difference band-width channel. This parer testify that compression rate of EBCOT higher than ordinary VLC using RLC and Huffman codec and apply EBCOT to JPEG structure. this structure increases parallelism and error resilience using black coding method. finally it looks into difficult to apply MPEG structure to multi channel video transfer system, and proposes solution using EBCOT.

  • Video transmission effectiveness in the Ad Hoc network is becoming important recently, if different routing protocols are applied. Some researchers conclude that the reactive protocols are better for file transfer protocol (FTP) and constant bit rate (CBR) or hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) transmission in an Ad Hoc wireless network but the performance report of video transmission is not much. This study adopts Qualnet (Network Simulator) as a simulation tool for environmental designing and performance testing, and employs an experimental design with eight groups. Our experiment shows that: (1) The performance of AODV (reactive) protocol is better than DSDV, ZRP and DSR when the transmission load has only one video stream; (2) Proactive (DSDV) and Hybrid protocols (ZRP) are better for a smaller Ad Hoc network when it transmits a video stream with some applications (VoIP, FTP and CBR). We conclude that packet loss rate is sensitive to the quality of video transmission and it has negative relationship with Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR) value. In addition, our experiment also shows that PSNR is a simple Metric for the performance evaluation of video transmission.

  • Sports video is a very critical information resource. High-precision extraction of effective segments in sports video can better assist coaches in analyzing the player's actions in the video, and enable users to more intuitively appreciate the player's hitting action. Aiming at the shortcomings of the current sports video clip extraction results, such as strong subjectivity, large workload and low efficiency, a classification method of sports video clips based on MobileNetV3 is proposed to save user time. Experiments evaluate the effectiveness of effective segment extraction. Among the extracted segments, the effective proportion is 97.0%, indicating that the effective segment extraction results are good, and it can lay the foundation for the construction of the subsequent badminton action metadata video dataset.
