The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between psychological wellbeing of social welfare facility workers and their organizational commitment. The subjects of this study were 230 social welfare facility workers in OO city, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Korea. Analysis was conducted using the SPSS program, including frequency analysis, reliability analysis and correlation analysis, and regression analysis on the causal relationship between variables. The results of the study showed that the psychological wellbeing of social welfare facility workers had a meaningful effect on their emotional commitment, continuous commitment and normative commitment. These results confirmed that the higher the psychological wellbeing of social welfare facility workers, the higher the sub-factors of organizational commitment, such as emotional, continuous, normative commitment, resulting in positive effects on the achievement of goals and values that are pursued by the welfare facilities. This study aims to become foundational data for the improvement of working conditions to improve psychological wellbeing of social welfare facility workers to increase organizational commitment.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the facility standards of the elderly welfare facilities applying the seven principles of the universal design. The facility standards of the elderly welfare facilities were limited to the provisions of the "Enforcement Regulation of the Elderly Welfare Act". There are few legal regulations applying the universal design in the construction of the elderly welfare facilities. The facility standards are set only with the minimum requirements such as securing the safety of the user, securing the space area, functional convenience, and risk prevention. However, the contents of the regulations are limited to the minimum standards for functional convenience and safety required for living. In conclusion, in the elderly welfare facilities, the notion of universal design, which considers not only the elderly, but also service providers, employees, and general visitors, should be considered.

The purpose of this study is to assess the residential satisfaction of no-charge welfare facility for the elderly, and to examine the effect of the integration with pay-training institute on residential satisfaction. The data were collected from staffs and fifty one residents of welfare facility by interview and questionnaire. The statistical analysis was conducted to identify the residential satisfaction. A half of the elderly were aged over seventy five years old, eighty four percents of them were female, and seventy seven percents of them were non-educated. Forty two percents of the elderly considered themselves to be unhealthy, but the ADL data reveals that they are relatively healthy. The most of residents are highly satisfied with whole welfare facility. But, the level of satisfaction on the bathroom, the storing space, the cooking table and the benches were relatively low. These dissatisfactions can be solved by the expanding of the storing space, setting up of a common washing room and electric cooking stove, and the increasing of the number of benches. Also, it was recommended for the elderly to set up the Ondol-style rest room with the western style rest room. The level of satisfaction on the attached training institute with no-charge welfare facility for the elderly were high. This has positive effect on residential satisfaction of the elderly. Therefore, the community integrated welfare facility can be the alternative plan for the enhancement of residential satisfaction and quality of elderly life.

The present study conducted ethnography of a welfare facility for single-father families. The participants were 13 single-fathers living in a welfare facility. To explore life within the welfare facility, the qualitative research method of ethnography was used with Spradley's developmental research sequence (DRS). The major results of this study were as follows. The first theme was 'finding a way to overcome the crisis: the facility is a lifeline.' For fathers, choosing to enter a facility meant enduring a social stigma, but the decision was made with the hope of achieving successful parenting and economic independence amidst pressing difficulties. The category of living in the facility was represented by the theme 'build the family: preparing for independence through living in a welfare facility.' The fathers achieved psychological recovery through the decrease in parenting stress, improvements in their economic situation brought by living in a facility, and used this time as the foundation to gain independence and build a stable life. The event of departure from the facility was seen as 'incomplete preparation for departure' by the single fathers. The fathers with infants or younger children admitted to being anxious about leaving the facility, which involved the burden of raising the children on their own. There are practical and policy-related implications based on the results of this study.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the elderly welfare facilities in Germany, which already entered into the aging society. Especially, the multipurpose and large elderly welfare facilities, where more than 50 elderly people lived, were analyzed. For this purpose, a field study was conducted between January 13 and February 3, 2005. This study tried to find out the architectural characteristics and trends of elderly welfare facility. There are about 9200 elderly welfare facilities in Germany, and about 7% of the elderly people over 65 years old live there. As for the multipurpose elderly welfare facilities, there are about 5800 facilities, 64% of the total facilities. The elderly welfare facility carries out single function at the early stage, and adds up another functions step by step. In general, the facility is managed with focusing on two main functions (care function and residential function). In a small town, the care function is the major one of the facility. However, in the city, the major functions of the facilities are both care and residential function, which are elderly residence or safeguard house.

To make provision for the super-aged society, the senior welfare facility which is a kind of typical physical environment of the nursing service would be expected to perform a very important role in local community. This study was conducted to identify the constructs of the servicescapes of senior welfare facility and to draw analysis indicators of it. For this, we performed literature review based on domestic & foreign government guide, service marketing theory and interior architectural results concerning the physical environment of the senior welfare facility. The result of this study showed as follows: servicescapes of the senior welfare facility could be explained as "a whole set of physical environment to support a variety of services provided by the senior welfare facility for the elderly or services of the kind of tangible clues". Analysis indicators of the senior welfare facility's servicescape could be explained as five factors: safety factor, functional factor, aesthetic factor, ambient factor and social factor. In addition we developed 37 pieces of detailed factors referred to five factors. The evaluation and verification of analysis indicators was carried out through 8 experts in-depth interviews. We inspected importance factor using a 5-point Likert scale, therefore safety factor was 4.41, functional factor was 4.27, aesthetic factor was 3.66, ambient factor was 4.20 and social factor was 4.25. More than anything else, in this study, there is a sense that it has established the concept of servicescape adapted to the senior welfare facility and contained a social element between the employees and the physical environment. Theoretical and practical implications of findings are discussed, and future research directions are proposed. we expect to be a little or benefits to the senior welfare facility corresponding to the future of the super-aged society.

Now, our country is in the face of increasement of aged person, and because of this fact many problems about aged person are show themselves. The main problems can be summarized as services provided by suppliers, inefficient management of welfare facility, violation of human rights, and nonprofessionalism of caring. Therefore to increasement of welfare quality, the direction of aged person welfare facility was suggested in this study.

The elderly population ratio of domestic is the actual condition where the countermeasure which is various for there is a possibility of saying that is already experiencing the aging society, is considered. The expansion of the elderly welfare facility of the area where is located among the rest in the situation as a matter of metropolitan area of domestic ephemerality and the price of land which the earth has, duplication operation etc. is having a problem point and the ephemerality which are various. About of composition different facility and leads with alternative and expansion and function of function and facility leads and the synergy effect which is various shows. So this study is consequently does the school facility which is located in life circle of the city center in middle of composition of the elderly welfare facility and other facility and in the object and under proposing boil the complex at the time of spatial composition blueprint with the elderly welfare facility and the school.

The purpose of this study is to suggest the possibility of complexity use these facilities for elderly welfare facility or public health facility and community center in rural. For this purpose this article researched into elderly welfare facilities, public health facilities and social welfare centers. And we studied of village community center, life pattern in old people in rural. With a rapidly increase in population of older people in rural, there is a great demand for the construction of complexes facilities. Particularly, there was highly demand for the public health facilities and the welfare programme of physiotherapy facilities on village community center in rural. However, there is not a intersection of space composition and specification function between elderly welfare facilities and public healthcare facilities and community welfare centers in this time. Accordingly, in the future plan for community center in rural, it is necessary to consider integration with public health facility. And it is necessary to compose the community center in consideration of the spatial organization of complexity as a possibility of community welfare activities.

Being rapidly increased in population of the Elderly supporting of the Elderly is no longer family's and personal problems. It is social issue that demand measures by the government. Though many kinds of welfare policies for the Elderly have been established, it is not sufficient both in quality and quantity. In order to support residents of region, welfare facilities which based on community welfare have been supplied. This study is targeted on health facility for the elderly of Japan. First purpose, it is to acheive basic information about health facility. Second purpose of this study is to basic data for planning of facility.
