  • Within white noise approach, we study the existence and uniqueness of the solution of an initial value problem for generalized white noise functionals, and then as a corollary we discuss the linear stochastic differential equation associated with a convolution of white noise functionals.

  • White noise distribution theory over the complex Gaussian space is established on the basis of the recently developed white noise operator theory. Unitarity condition for a white noise operator is discussed by means of the operator symbol and complex Gaussian integration. Concerning the overcompleteness of the exponential vectors, a coherent sate representation of a white noise function is uniquely specified from the diagonal coherent state representation of the associated multiplication operator.

  • In this note we reformulate the white noise calculus on the classical Wiener space (C', C). It is shown that most of the examples and operators can be redefined on C without difficulties except the Hida derivative. To overcome the difficulty, we find that it is sufficient to replace C by L$_2$[0,1] and reformulate the white noise on the modified abstract Wiener space (C', L$_2$[0, 1]). The generalized white noise functionals are then defined and studied through their linear functional forms. For applications, we reprove the Ito formula and give the existence theorem of one-side stochastic integrals with anticipating integrands.

  • We are interested in random phenomena that will vary as time goes by, being interfered with by fluctuation. These phenomena are often expressed as functionals of white noise. We therefore discuss the analysis of those functionals, where the white noise is understood as a system of idealized elementary random variables. The system is, in many cases, taken to be the innovation of the given random phenomena. The use of the innovation provides a powerful tool to investigate stochastic processes and random fields in line with white noise analysis.

  • The trajectory of a classical dynamics is determined by the least action principle. As soon as we come to quantum dynamics, we have to consider all possible trajectories which are proposed to be a sum of the classical trajectory and Brownian fluctuation. Thus, the action involves the square of the derivative B(t) (white noise) of a Brownian motion B(t). The square is a typical example of a generalized white noise functional. The Feynman propagator should therefore be an average of a certain generalized white noise functional. This idea can be applied to a large class of dynamics with various kinds of Lagrangians.

  • Purpose. Noise occurs at measuring Electoretinogram(ERG) signals as the other bio-signal measurement. It is compared the denoising performance according to the mother function of wavelet transforms. Methods. The ERG signal that generated power supply noise and white noise was used as a sampling signal. The noise of ERG signal was filtered by using haar, db7, bior mother function. The filtering performance of each mother functions was compared using Fourier transform spectrum and SNR(signal to noise ratio). Results. In the haar functioin, the result of the Fourier transform spectrum was that the power supply noise is removed and the white noise performance is not good. The SNR was 27.0404. In the db7 function, the results of Fourier transform spectrum was that the power supply noise is removed and the white noise performance is good. The SNR was 35.1729. In the db7 function, the results of Fourier transform spectrum was that the power supply noise is removed and the white noise performance is the bset. The SNR was 35.4445. Conclusions. The db7, bior function was good results in power supply noise and white noise filtered. The bior function is suitable for filtering noise of the ERG signal.

  • Practical ambient excitations of engineering structures usually do not comply with the stationary-white-noise assumption in traditional operational modal analysis methods due to heavy traffic, wind guests, and other disturbances. In order to eliminate spurious modes induced by non-white noise inputs, the improved stochastic subspace identification based on a delay index is proposed in this paper for a representative kind of stationary non-white noise ambient excitations, which have nonzero autocorrelation values near the vertical axis. It relaxes the stationary-white-noise assumption of inputs by avoiding corresponding unqualified elements in the Hankel matrix. Details of the improved stochastic subspace identification algorithms and determination of the delay index are discussed. Numerical simulations on a four-story frame and laboratory vibration experiments on a simply supported beam have demonstrated the accuracy and reliability of the proposed method in eliminating spurious modes under non-white noise ambient excitations.

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the effect of white noise on sleep quality, depression, and stress in college students. Method: This study was designed a randomized controlled design to measure the effect of white noise on college students' sleep quality, depression, and stress. Data collection was conducted from May 15, 2017 to June 5, 2017. The subjects were randomly assigned to 27 college students and 28 control volunteers. Data analysis was done using SPSS 23.0 Windows program. Results: The experimental and control groups were homogeneous in general characteristics and study variables. The white noise group showed statistically significant effects on stress(t=-2.25, p=.015) and sleep quality(t=0.65, p<.001). Conclusion: This study confirms that white noise has a positive effect on stress and sleep of college students. Based on these results, it is expected that further research will be conducted on systematic and differentiated white noise mediation.
