A Study on the Origin of Scolopendrae Corpus in Korea
국산(國産) 오공(蜈蚣)의 기원(起源)에 관한 연구(硏究)
Abstract
In order to study the origin of Scolopendra Corpus in Korea, samples were collected from four different markets and were studied. It was shown that the species of Scolopendra Corpus used as medicine in Korea are five to six species, of which 95.2% are of S. subspinipes mutilans L. KOCH, 1.4% of Otocrytops rubiginosus L.KOCH, and 2.1% of varieties of Scolopendra subspinipes japonica. And the other two are unknown species.
