  • 위성항법장치 즉, GPS는 Global Positioning System의 약자로서, 비행기 · 선박 · 자동차뿐만 아니라 세계 어느 곳에서든지 인공위성을 이용하여 자신의 위치를 정확히 알 수 있는 시스템이다. 우리에게는 현재 지피에스(GPS)라고 더 잘 알려져 있다. GPS는 원래 미국에서 군사적 목적으로 1978년부터 개발이 시작되었다. 당초에는 요격미사일의 유도 등을 위하여 주로 사용되었으나, 냉전시대가 끝나면서부터 민간 영역으로 그 이용 범위가 점차 확대되어 현재는 항공기, 선박, 차량의 자동항법시스템 등에서 매우 유용하게 사용되고 있다. 그렇다면 지금부터 그 구성과 원리 등에 대해서 자세히 알아보도록 하자.

QZSS L1 C/A Signal Processing Results in Korea (한국에서 QZSS 위성의 L1 C/A 신호처리 결과)

  • Michibiki is the first QZSS satellite, which was launched by a H-IIA rocket departing from the Tanegshima in Japan on 11 September, 2010 and now operated successfully. This paper presents the results obtained from processing of the L1 C/A signal transmitted from the QZSS satellite. The acquisition and tracking are performed by the L1 software receiver implemented by ETRI. The signal processing results show that QZSS L1 C/A signal is normally processed through the tracking loop results of FLL, PLL, and DLL, the EPL correlator output, and the C/No output. Finally, the paper demonstrates that the QZSS satellite could be used in the navigation system together with the GPS satellite in Korea.

  • Launch of the first Quasi-Zentih Satellite System (QZSS) satellite, dubbed Michibiki, took place September 11, 2010 and technical and application verification of the satellite is being carried out. This paper presents the results obtained from processing of the L5 signal transmitted from the QZSS satellite. The QZSS L5 signal is collected in ETRI, Korea. And then, the acquisition and tracking are performed by the L5 software receiver implemented by ETRI. The tracking loop of FLL, PLL, and DLL, the EPL correlator output, and the C/No output results show that the QZSS L5 signal is normally processed. Finally, the paper demonstrates that the QZSS L5 signal could be used as GPS satellite based augmentation system in Korea as well as Japan.

  • According to the GPS modernization, L5 is the third civilian GPS signal, broadcasts in a radio band reserved exclusively for aviation safety services. However, as the code length of GPS L5 is ten times longer than that of GPS L1, the acquisition processing time in GPS L5 takes longer than that of L1. This characteristics make the code phase detected initially change and cause the tracking loop to unlock. In order to overcome this problem, this paper proposes L5 acquisition schemes for the rapid code phase re-search and the fine doppler determination. The feasibility of the proposed scheme is demonstrated through the simulation results.

  • 세계 환경산업 시장은 전 지구적 환경문제와 국제 환경기준 강화로 빠른 속도로 성장해 2020년에는 1조900억 달러의 거대시장으로 확대될 전망이다. 에너지 및 환경분야에 대한 기업의 해외진출도 늘어나고 있다. 이에 에스코 산업도 글로벌 시장 개척의 필요성에 직면하고 있다. 지피지기 백전백승이라는 말이 있다. 해외 환경산업시장을 파악하고 국내 해외시장 개척지원 서비스를 활용하는 것이 필요할 때다. 지경부는 글로벌 경쟁력 강화를 위한 해외진출기업 지원방안을 모색하고 있고 환경부는 국제 공동 연구사업, 개발도상국 마스터플랜 수립지원 등을 시작으로 구체적으로 기업의 해외진출을 돕고 있다. 법무부는 해외진출기업 법률지원사업을 실시하고 있으며 중기청과 KOTRA는 '녹색중소기업 해외진출지원사업'을 실시하고 있다. 각종 부처에서 지원하는 해외진출 방안에 대해 살펴보고 에스코의 해외시장 진출 전략을 이에 적용해본다.

  • This paper describes the analysis of the tracking and navigation performance of a GPS receiver in a launch vehicle simulation when the carrier tracking loop is designed as a 3rd order phase-locked loop with variable bandwidths. There are differences of tracking and navigation performance according to the variable bandwidths under the dynamics condition. When the bandwidth is set to narrow, the GPS receiver could not track the satellite signals so that the navigation information could not be calculated.

  • lately, vehicle blackbox increasing importance and usability Is needed accuracy and variety of information. because, blackbox help to analyze the exact cause of the accident and use as objective evidence in vehicle-related crime. In the paper, to overcome the limitations of the existing black box, use various sensors and vehicle information blackbox store current state of the vehicle with OBD-II protocol using vehicle state information and store exact current location and direction information of the vehicle with Gyro sensor and GPS and use global time of GPS for synchronization of information. In addition, blackbox back the information up with wifi. because, when blackbox damaged, dirvers were able to verify the information.

  • This research presents an analysis of algorithm for ship track-keeping along a given trajectory. The maneuver of a free running model ship guiding through a simple path are presented. In order to solve the above problem, a desired trajectory is usually determined by GPS points in a pre-fixed place then these points are set in a pre-programmed navigation so that the ship would be automatically tracked. Proportional-Derivative(PD) control which is useful for fast response controllers was used in this program as a course keeping system. A high accuracy GPS receiver was installed on the model ship that could provide positions frequently, the system will compare and give out the remaining distance and heading to the target way-point. The results of ship auto track-keeping experiment will be explained in order to illustrate the adjustment in controlling parameters. These results can be utilized as a preliminary step to carry out the experiment of ship collision avoidance system and automatic berthing in the future.

  • The key technologies of GNSS receiver for GNSS sensor station are under development as a part of a GNSS ground station in ETRI. This paper presents the GNSS receiver implementation and signal processing result which is implemented based on FPGA to process the Galileo E1 and E5 signal. To verify the working and performance for GNSS receiver which is implemented based on FPGA, live signal received from GIOVE-B which is second test satellite is used. We gather GIOVE-B signal by using prototyping antenna and RF/IF units including IF-component. To verify Galileo E1 and E5 signal processing function from GIOVE-B, FPGA based signal processing module is implemented as a prototyping hardware board.

  • In this paper, GPS(Global Positioning System) that can be used outdoors and GPS(Global Positioning System) is not available for indoor Wi-Fi(Wireless Fidelity) using the Android-based location information system has been designed and implemented. Pedestrians in a room in order to estimate the location of the pedestrian's position, regardless of need to obtain the absolute position and relative position, depending on the movement of pedestrians in a row it is necessary to estimate. In order to estimate the initial position of the pedestrian Wi-Fi Fingerprinting was used. Most existing Wi-Fi Fingerprinting position error small WKNN(Weighted K Nearest Neighbor) algorithm shortcoming EWKNN (Enhanced Weighted K Nearest Neighbor) using the algorithm raised the accuracy of the position. And in order to estimate the relative position of the pedestrian, the smart phone is mounted on the IMUInertial Measurement Unit) because the use did not require additional equipment.
