The objective of the study is to know demographic characteristics mobility motivation housing aspiration and housing values of expected purchasers of the small/medium size apartments located at 'H-area' in Ulsan to enhance their level of housing satisfaction through better planning. The result shows that moving motivation housing aspiration and housing values differ as what size respective expected purchasers want. As a regional characteristic the reality-oriented view of housing is apparent in that their interests are focused on the setups or facilities after-service and maintenance and that they think conveniency more important than the edifices' appearance or beauty.

This study was designed to clarify housing satisfactions as one of the housing problems in quality. The major purpose of this study was to find out the variables related to housing satisfaction. Following items are analyzed: 1) Concept about housing satisfaction. 2) Relations to housing expectation, aspiration, value. 3) Relations between housing satisfaction and housing reconstruction and mobility. 4) The variables related to housing satisfaction.

This study investigated the characteristics of housing considerations of college students from post graduation to pre marriage. The data came from the survey with 267 college students in Ulsan and Daegu from November 26 through December 14, 2012 and were analyzed with descriptive statistics, cross-tabulation analysis with chi-squared test, and logistic regression analysis. Over half of the respondents desired to separate from parents for the adulthood and about forty-three percent of them wanted to live alone. Among the housing characteristics, location, utilities, housing type and facility features were important for the respondents desiring to live the single life, and specifically, apartment and efficiency with $33-66m^2$, low monthly rents, floor plan with bedroom, kitchen and bathroom, and good public transportations were the most and primarily preferred features of housing for their future housing consideration. The variables influencing future housing preferences for the respondents were the number of roommate and preferred housing type.

This plan is for a different type of welfare facilities devised by analyzing problems with existing welfare centers and focusing on connection with residents and link between culture and welfare and among generations. In terms of re-development plan of Youngsun-2-dong, Youngdo-gu, Busan and the neighborhood under this plan, Youngsun-dong, Youngdo-gu is one of the densely populated districts of the aged, with lower growth rate and poor housing and welfare facilities. However, the district has a blessed natural environment and historical site of cultural relics of the Neolithic Age as well as growth potential as a logistics center with broader network of roads linking with Bukhang Bridge when Namhang Bridge construction is complete, showing the aspiration for change toward hi-tech maritime city in the 21st century of Youngdo-gu. This plan is expected to promote unity between the old and children, protection from social marginalization, and re-socialization education and set the stage for participation and solidarity of residents in the community.

The purpose of this study was to identify household’s level and standard of consumption and their related variables in order to derive some useful implications for developing sustainable lifestyle. Data were collected from 567 household wives living in Seoul and the five Metropolitan cities in Korea. The results showed that most households owned such goods as central heating system, shower and bath, refrigerator, microwave oven, vacuum cleaner, washer. TV video player, personal computer, mobile phone, and car. They thought that most of the goods were necessary for the desired level of living and has a strong aspiration to buy those goods. This implied a tendency of uniformity in need perceptions and consumption patterns among Korean households. However, level and standard of consumption measured in selected living area differed according to age. education family size, household income, occupation, and the size housing, which showed that different approach was needed for developing sustainable lifestyle according to these variables.
