Abstract

Calcium stearate was produced by this method was purified and recovered through new method. Lipolase 100-T was used to produce calcium stearate from hydrogenated beef tallow. This process was optimized major factor of two, temperature and enzyme concentration. The temperature was optimized in $60^{\circ}C$ and enzyme concentration was 0.6wt% of hydrogenated beef tallow.
