  • 본 연구의 목적은 수도권 지하철차량의 소음과 진동에 방음차륜(또는 탄성차륜)이 어느 정도의 효과를 가져오는가를 평가하기 위한 것이다. 실차시험을 통하여 일체차륜이 장착된 차량과 방음차륜이 장착된 차량의 차내소음 및 차체진동을 비교하여 보았다. 그 결과 방음차륜은 지하철차량의 소음과 진동에 효과가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 실제 적용은 소음과 진동 이외에도 여러 가지 측면에서의 검토가 이루어져야만 가능할 것이다.

  • When the center of mass of a railway wheel is not aligned with the geometrical center of the wheel axis, wheel unbalance occurs. If a railway vehicle runs without removing the wheel unbalance, vibrations will be produced. This will also cause wear and damage of the axle bearing. In this study, dynamic analysis of a railway vehicle with wheel unbalance was conducted to examine the reduction in critical speed and the resonance of the car-body and the effect on the magnitude of wheel unbalance was examined. In addition, the calculation of the car-body vibration owing to static and dynamic unbalance in the railway wheel shows that two-plane balancing is necessary.

  • The damaged wheel in railway vehicle would cause a poor ride comfort, a rise in the maintenance cost and even fracture of the wheel, which then leads to a tremendous social and economical cost. The defect initiation and crack propagation in wheel may result in the damage of the railway vehicle or derailment. Therefore, it is important to evaluate the characteristics of the wheel tread. In the present paper, the characteristics of wheel tread based on contact positions, running distance and brake pattern are evaluated. The result shows that the damaged wheel tread is remarkably depended on the contact positions between wheel and rail.

A Study on Numerical Analysis of Wheel-rail Contact Points (차륜과 레일 접촉위치의 수치해석에 관한 연구)

  • This paper presents a numerical analysis method to determine flange contact at variable wheel positions. The shapes of the wheel and rail surface functions with surface parameters. The Newton-Rhapson method for wheel-rail contact can provide fast solutions, but may not yield true values at optimization process with the condition that minimum distance is zero can time-consuming. A compound method, combining the Newton-Rhapson methods the optimization process method is proposed to provide exact solutions efficiently.

  • In this study, shape-based track management by analyzing track irregularity was studied in terms of force-based track irregularity analysis by numerical analysis of wheel-rail interaction force using by the measured vertical irregularity. The effect of the vertical irregularity of the track due to the difference in track types on the wheel-rail interaction force and the track acceleration in the connecting section of the sleeper floating track and the direct fixation track on concrete bed were analyzed. As the results of this study, the measured vertical irregularity was directly affect the vertical wheel load (the wheel-rail interaction force) and the rail acceleration, and it has been demonstrated to change consistently. In this study, the adequacy and necessity of the force-based track irregularity analysis method was verified based on the wheel-rail interaction analysis using the the measured vertical irregularity.

  • Wheel/rail contact is a significant problem in railway dynamics. In this paper, the wheel/rail contact is examined analytically and numerically as a contact problem between two cylinders where torque and friction have effect. Furthermore, the contact of a real wheel and rail is investigated numerically where the normal and shear force act. This study demonstrates that the wheel/rail contact is a process that generates traction force through creep where rolling and sliding occurs simultaneously depending on the shape of the wheel and rail, and the friction coefficient between them.

  • In this research equations of motion of a Wheeled Inverted Pendulum (WIP) which is running on the inclined road and changing its center of gravity. Difference between a conventional cart inverted pendulum and the WIP is also considered. The WIP has small planar size so that it has been used as a mobile platform for several applications which require slender frame in order to travel on the narrow road. The WIP has almost the same unstable properties as conventional inverted pendulums have. There needs an aggressive control scheme for the WIP not to fall down. In order to design a high performance control scheme, equations of motion of the WIP, which is running under various environment and operating conditions, should be derived and considering its properties is necessary.

  • 고무타이어를 주행륜으로 사용하고 무인운전으로 운행되는 고무차륜 AGT 경량전철 차량의 성능최고 속도는 70km/h이고 운행최고속도는 60km/h로 차량 표준사양에서 결정되어 고시되었다. 그러나 차량이 운행되는 노선의 다양한 곡률반경에 따라 제한속도가 결정되어야 하고, 고무타이어가 손상된 경우를 가정한 안전 제한속도도 결정해야 한다. 본 논문의 목적은 설계 및 제작이 완료된 한국형 표준 고무차륜 AGT 경량전철 차량에 대해 운행노선의 곡선반경에 따른 제한속도, 고무타이어의 손상에 따른 안전 제한속도, 그리고 이상의 조건들에 대한 승객의 승차감을 해석하여 제안하는 것이다.(중략)

An Analysis on the Influence of Wheel Flange Wear on the Vibration of EMU (전동차 차륜답면 마모에 따른 차량 진동 특성 영향 분석)

  • We have conducted an experimental study to analyze characteristics of the wheel profile wear and an influence of the wheel flange wear on the vehicle's vibration characteristics. In experiment with EMU, wheel profile wear is severe at the beginning of the commercial operation. In this stage, the variations of the wheel dimension parameters and equivalent conicity is changed rapidly. Along with a mileage of the test vehicle, the wear of the wheel flange is increased and also the vibration level of the car-body is increased. The peak-peak mean value of the body vibration is estimated as good level, but the level is approached at the limit of the good level as mileage increases. Especially, the peak-peak maximum value of the body vibration shows the distinct increase of vibration level.
